HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin?

So I keep hearing HODL, HODL, keep holding and all that. My simple question to everyone is "when is actually the right time to sell Bitcoin or we don't ever sell it"?

 How then do we say we have made money from it if we don't sell?

The question is, are you really hodling something? if not, then why bother asking, if you do, then you should believe the people around you, hodling only means that you'll hold whatever you have until the opportunity comes, if you don't want to hold and keep idle, might as well find a way on how to earn more.

This is individual opinion, just because some certain people will always shout hold hold hold don't mean you should do the same, everyone has price target and what they aim to achieve, you can sell wherever you feel it is comfortable for you, probably sell some percentage and keep holding rest for a longer term.

Brother, it upon you that what is your target to sell your Bitcoin. If price reaches at your target than you can sell it. But if you did not satisfy with the price then wait for your target. Long term chart of Bitcoin is very positive. So, hold your bitcoins. Patience is very necessary in trading. You can increase your quantity of Bitcoins by trading. Actually we can sell Bitcoin at any time as long as it makes a profit, but every Bitcoin holder or trader wants a lot of profit so it takes the right time or longer depending on the Bitcoin price itself. If a trader has a target price of say $100,000 then he will sell it at that price then the trader needs an indefinite amount of time until the target is reached. However, if the trader only wants to make a small profit, then at any time they can sell it at a price 10% higher than the capital.

Holding is the best option especially when the price of bitcoin is dumping. It is up to you on what's your strategy on doing it. My advice is to hold when price is dumping and sell when price is increasing. It's up to you on what should you do. Or else, you can sell it when you already attain the goal you want to your bitcoin, if it is already enough for you and you think you won't regret something in the future selling it. Everytime you make decisions, try to think a scenario of you doing it, so that you won't regret anything.

most people will definitely do something like this because this is indeed the most appropriate decision, even though there are still those who panic sell during the dump and usually these are people who are beginners or for other reasons.
Besides that, I think it's true that everything goes back to each other personally but don't forget the suggestions and opinions of others, at least this is a reminder, especially if the person who says this is someone who is more successful than us.

Hodl until the price will up. 
Example. You are buying 1 btc at the price of $89,000 then after few years it became $300,000 then the right time has come.

How then do we say we have made money from it if we don't sell?

Of course you can sell it but in the right time, be patient and don't be greed cause every success need sucrifice.

Well, that is one perspective of the “right time” in selling the coins that you decided to hold for a particular period of time. As per this given scenario, right time can also mean selling at $35k, at $42k, or even at $31k. I believe that the right time is subjective to the goal of a trader and the optimism towards the coin, and to the gut feeling that somehow influences the decision to hold, wait, or to sell urgently.

I'm sure everyone has their target for each asset they own. especially for bitcoins.
when you are satisfied with the profit you get then you are free to sell it. but I know what you're thinking when you sell your bitcoins and then, the market just pumps up. it was a disappointment in itself.
therefore the importance of feeling gratitude and not being greedy in investing in bitcoin and other crypto-assets. if you have enough then go out and enjoy your profit.

The reason for this is because Bitcoin tends to be profitable when you invest long term. The main thing here is all about you knowing what you want to achieve and what you’re capable of. When you invest in Bitcoin and you make profit, as long as you are satisfied with the profit you have made, then you can sell your Bitcoin and cash out your profit.

Do you need money? You want to do something in your life, to buy something, and you are short with money, but you have Bitcoins? Sell some, why not... decide your goals and do what you want to do!

It's always good to have something valuable on a side, including Bitcoin and crypto... it's a lot easier to hold if you have other sources of income that cover all your needs, but in the case, you are short then you need to make a decision! Most of us are making those decisions every day/week/month, there's nothing wrong with selling valuables if you really need the money for something, just don't spend them on something stupid!

The time is very close to sell bitcoin and have a good profits from it. Since the price of bitcoin is still waving from $60 down to $58, show that is preparing to increase from $58k to $80k from November till next year 2022. Once is increase to $80 many  long term investors will now release their bitcoin they have been holding over some years for sale to make a good income.

Let me ask you, what is your intention of that certain coin you bought?
You bought it as an investment to make profit, right?

It's all about investing and making profit that's why you and me are here roaming in this crypto industry. In fact, we're lucky to have this alternative to generate and create a passive income to add in our portfolio. The important thing is you have goal, let's say you bought bitcoin at a price of $20k and your goal is to double it, then you should sell it when the price is already $40k. You don't need to hold it forever and don't know when to sell it. My advice is sell regularly while also hodling for long-term investment.

Different people have different purpose of investing, there are some people who always look at the market every day and monitor their investment then sell it when it has 50% price growth and they already happy with that.
But also there are some people who planned to hold their investment for years and consider their investment as free money that they want to give away.
There are no right and wrong about those 2 types of traders, who will get maximum profits is also depends on their luck and decision.
So i think it depends on the perseon itself, there are no exact time to buy or to sell the coin.

Wishing that is just an easy as 123 but it is not, we cannot really know when the price will increase constantly and when this will decrease .
all we have in mind is speculative and nothing concrete so in the end it is our research and instinct will help us but of course this is risky but worth a keep, so Best to Hold longer than what you expected.
