Yes Liverpool have won the FA Cup this season.  Interestingly this season Liverpool have beaten Chelsea twice in the Final, also through a penalty shootout.  For Liverpool this is their eighth title in the FA Cup.  The Reds also still have the opportunity to add trophies this season, namely in the Premier League and Champions League.  

2 meetings in a finals and they've got 2 cups, both off Chelsea. I really thought, Chelsea would have used this game to have there revenge from the EFL but sadly, they pushed it on to penalty shootout and lost once more. Its a game that should have  been over right from the first half with the sort of chances that were created in both sides but unfortunately, they couldn't even make much of there shots on target. For me, yesterday's game was one of the worst I have seen from Chelsea in a while. As for the EPL and UCL trophy, uhmmmm Liverpool could pretty much have dreams of the UCL but when it comes to the EPL, I think Manchester City have got that covered already and very little could be done at this point to offset that. UCL and Real Madrid, it would take Liverpool to be at its best and not make a single mistake, else Spain would be defending champions.

Of course, the winners are not judged, but still two cups won due to the penalty shootouts won is something. It will be absolutely ridiculous if the title of the winner of the Champions League is also won through a penalty shootout. Nevertheless, I believe that the winner of the tournament should be determined within the framework of a normal football game, and not due to the competition of two teams in the more successful performance of a single standard position of the game, such as an eleven-meter kick. A weird story regarding Christensen is coming from the Chelsea camp. He was expected to start but withdrew from the game by himself, saying simply that he does not feel well.

It left all his teammates really confused and Chalobah had little time to prepare for the game. I really don't think he missed the game on purpose because he could have won the trophy, but he's really been acting weirdly since agreeing on his transfer to Barcelona.

Tuchel is losing both him and Rudiger in the summer, potentially Azpilicueta as well - meaning Chelsea will need to invest heavily in their defense.

Jurgen klopp is really a rare gem, his impact in the team have helped them achieved alot, before his arrival at Liverpool, Liverpool was a struggling team, it was hard for them contesting for some major trophies. Since the arrival of jurgen klopp the team pattern of play has really changed, he came with a different mentality, a mentality that has makes Liverpool one of the strongest team in EPL, their improvement in the past few years is phenomenal, recently they are one of the best team we have in Europe.

Yeah, I'm glad we have Klopp, who, even if he has to force a player to part ways, does his best to take care of them. We had to bid farewell to so many good players over his reign, and almost every single one of them left without bad blood (only Sakho I can recall was a little tight but even so Klopp had good words for him when his tests results vindicated him). Ings, Coutinho, Lucas, Moreno, Lovren, even Karius, all these guys continue to watch us. Keep seeing these ex-Reds watching us at games. Something really special at Liverpool!

But at least I enjoyed penalties as it was the most thrilling part of the match. Chelsea also would have become the champions despite not performing as good as Liverpool in regular time. I believe that it was a good match and even without the goals both teams never gave up, and in the end when it went down to penalties I knew that Liverpool would win again, but Liverpool player’s deserves credit for the way they played during the match and for calmly scoring their penalties.

Two finals, two meetings, twice had to be decided by penalties and twice liverpool won, became a thrilling drama when chelsea and liverpool faced each other this season, the FA final match is no different from the carabao final which also happened this season and both must ended with a penalty for Liverpool's victory, I think for this season Liverpool are very strong and it is clear that their performance is still above Chelsea.

It was quite sad to Chelsea lost their fourth FA Cup final in five years and it is even worse losing to Liverpool, since they have earlier lose the Carabao Cup to them earlier too. I expected Chelsea to have won that game especially with Salah leaving the game. Congratulations to Liverpool, they weren't really threatened. The penalties were all good but some has to win in end.

FA Cup is slowly entering in more serious phase and this is one of the rear competitions that will continue to run during World Cup in Qatar that is starting soon.
Two more matches are played tomorrow Salford vs Peterborough and Woking vs Oxford Utd, and next round 1/64 finals called Second Round Proper is played on November 26 and 27.
From January we are going to see new round with 20 Premier League teams and 24 EFL Championship teams, and things will get much more interesting.

Should have happy memories of this tournament but the final two games of last season, coupled with our poor start, sort of sours the whole thing for me. The cost of going all the way proved to be too much, as I still think it's lethargy and tiredness that's our problem. A spent force, quite literally.

That said, can't wait to see odds for Prem teams vs whoever makes it to Round 3. Derby in EFL looked poorer that I expected, but wouldn't it be nice for MK Dons to go through and meet United again, for example?
