This is the only match I have supported Manchester City to win, and sadly, they failed. This game is a clear indication that no team is unbeatable. We have been seeing some surprises in football recently, from Atalanta beating Bayer Leverkusen and now City losing to United; I hope we will not see Borussia Dortmund beating Real Madrid in the UCL finals. Congratulations to Man United and especially the coach Erik ten Hag. I hope this trophy will save his job because it seems that the club management has not changed their minds despite the FA Cup win.

Oh, lemme guess. You supported Manchester City because you're one of this Chelsea fans? You must have been disappointed with the result from yesterday then because Manchester United did not just send Chelsea alone but also Newcastle United who thought it was going to be the other way.

I won't be surprised seeing the Champions League Competition going sideways, currently too many people want to see Real Madrid gaik and lose saying they have literally won the Champions League Competition too much. Winning it too much is nothing as much as they have followed the right means to get the Champions League. It should a great goodbye for Toni Kroos, I hope things play out well.

The coach is a good coach but he has seen unfair criticisms this season especially from the media and ex players in the Premier League who are simply being biased.
If they don't want I, I'm.sure we will go elsewhere and shine. He is a tactically sound coach. People who can't see it that way are baised or dump in the head.

People who don't want to see Real Madrid win because they have won it more than any club is just jealous of Real Madrid and don't like quality and the success of a good club. Assuming it was their own club that is playing the finals, they will support them even if they know that it will be impossible for their club to win the finals.

I can see that a lot of biased people are not saying the fact because they are player hating. Just like what happened yesterday, it was a shock and disappointment to Chelsea because they never thought that United can win the match and they have being claiming that they are better than Manchester united this season but just one game turned United around and became better than Chelsea this season.

So many do no believe that Manchester United will beat Manchester city in the current form of Manchester city. I do not even know if the Manchester United fans believed what was going to happen. Manchester city had won many matches and they are addicted to win. So, they don't plan how to prevent lossing but they plan how to win. This is why if any club take them by surprise, they will not have a good damage control mechanism to mitigate losses.

When I saw the strange formation of Erik Ten Hang, I was quite surprised by it and then I remembered that the last time he did such a strange formation, he won. So I became confident that something nice could come out. When I saw 2 goals in HT, I knew it was over because Manchester United has a handful of their defenders available and that is why we saw the good result.

I don't support them sacking Ten Hag, I believe he still needs more coaching time and in those period he will do better. He has the squad he needs, now it is left for him to make good use of them to judge his competency, we expect to see a better result coming season.

Maybe many are disappointed because Ten Hag failed to bring Manchester United to a better ranking in the EPL this season, in fact Manchester United was only in 8th position this season, far from what was expected, in fact this season Manchester United experienced more defeats than Last season meant that there was no change, in fact there was no progress whatsoever from Ten Hag this season, when compared, every season Ten Hag should bring progress for Manchester United but instead, on the contrary, it has decreased.

Man United's victory was truly unexpected. As we know, Man United went to Wembley with a fairly small chance of winning because their performance has been inconsistent, while their opponents Man City are in their prime and have just won the Premier League trophy. It looks like Man United really has the motivation to win and they look different than usual, as seen in the field, they are quite disciplined in carrying out defense, and even though Man City has more control over the course of the match, but Man United really tried to maximize every counterattack opportunity they got.

The second goal from Mainoo was something we have rarely seen this season. Rashford and Garnacho tend to dribble the ball when penetrating, then they will make a shot attempt (although in a difficult position), while Bruno also tends to take a direct shot when he gets into a good position. But that night, the three of them really did good teamwork, and they were willing to make passes when their teammates found good positions to score goals.

I don't know how to rate it but I know too many Manchester United fans had doubts even the legends had doubts about the game. The only person I saw having a slight faith and hope even though it's dangerous has got to be Gary Neville.
They made so many errors, also some people said England did favored Manchester United by not awarding the penalty for Erling Haaland.
Asides that, I also heard talks of the game being fixed, some said you can clarify with that goal scored by Garnacho but I don't think so. It was clearly miscommunication between defender and goalkeeper.

There was nothing strange about that formation, it was a normal four two three one formation. The thing is you made use of flashscore and what you saw was totally bizzare and strange.

It was Bruno Fernandez playing as a false nine but still supported in midfied, even when Kobbie had yellow, Bruno Fernandez had to drop deep for him to go ahead so as to avoid a double yellow.
They used this same formation against Newcastle United, Brighton and now Manchester City.

I have two very close friends who happens to be Manchester United fans and yesterday we were analyzing their win against Manchester United as well as how they ended up having a better season than Chelsea and Arsenal who didn't win anything this season. They were so happy telling me how they never expected their club to beat Manchester City but were surprised to see them lift the English FA Cup trophy on Saturday and instead of sharing in their joy, I reminded them if the history of the club and why they shouldn't be celebrating an FA Cup final victory against Manchester City when it wasn't the UEFA Champions League final.
Manchester United is believed to be the most successful English football club while their Manchester City is just a club who recently started to well in the past one decade. When Sir Alex Ferguson was the club manager, he was asked by the media if Manchester City will play any derby match against Manchester United as the favorites and he responded by saying "not in my lifetime" but in the past 8 to 10 years, the Citizens have played most of their matches against Manchester United as favourites and that goes a long way to tell you how underperforming the club have been since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club

In the other hand the coach decision was destructed by inavailability of players. The majority of Manchester United defense we are absent throughout the season. But Manchester United coach started making some adjustment and playing some players of position in order to sustain throughout the season.

I would have said that football is unfair if actually a club like Chelsea plays Europa League why Manchester United does not. I didn't believe and understand how Chelsea moved past Manchester United in the table and occupies the sixth position for Europa League. But then football finally showed me that it is fair by making Manchester United to be the King of England and as well qualified for the Europa League competition for next season. If Manchester United management could get a more and quality players I think Manchester United win definitely compete for major trophies in the coming season.

As a matter of fact, I lost confidence in Manchester united this season because I was expecting something better than last year, but we saw something different throughout the season for United and most of the Chelsea fans were very happy because United was ahead of them and towards the end of this season, Chelsea became consistent with their matches which made them to be 6th on the table.

It is just like the God of football knows that Manchester united is too big not to participate in any European competition next season which will be a slap on United, and that was why we saw that incredible defeat on City in the finals. Finally, the inconsistent Manchester united was able to make a difference and got a direct ticket to the Europa League next season.

Indeed, congratulations! They were lucky to have been able to defeat us, if you watch the game we had Manchester United in our hands but they played a well-defensive game, and all our attacks were ineffective, the mistake that happened was the fact that we allowed them to score those two goals that is were the whole problem started from. and another thing is that I feel we underestimated them and what it resulted in did not make sense at all, and that is one of the reasons you don't underestimate your opponent because they will take advantage of it. and I was not happy due to what happened. there is nothing that can be done.  Manchester United did not make me proud the only person I see they have made proud are other than their fans. because they won the FA Cup with ease and that is what annoys me the most.

people knew what Manchester City was capable of doing, and there was full assurance that we were going to win the FA making it two trophies, the mistake was the moment we underestimated them and that is what affected us. and a lot of money was lost because of our silly mistake. football can not be predicted sometimes but we know what both clubs are capable of doing.  Bayer Leverkusen was topping so no one would have expected them to lose. things can change during a game but not in a situation like this losing to Manchester United. it was just pain and  but next time it wont happen because I know Pep will not be happy either.

I can agree Chelsea had a subpar performance in the first half of the Premier League season, but in the second half, they fought and was passionate about winning, defending the coach and also fighting for themselves on the pitch. Whatever position they was place finally at the end of the season they earned it, they worked hard for it and they had it.

It's sad that they couldn't make it to the UEFA European Europa League Competition.

Chelsea and United have fundamental similarities this season, both teams are faced with a storm of player injuries, so they are unable to show their best performance in every match. United finished in 8th place in the standings, but managed to get a ticket to the Europa League thanks to winning the FA Cup trophy, in this case The Red Devils should give thanks. It may still seem fair for Chelsea, as The Blues will progress to the Confederation League, and finish in a better place than United in the Premier League standings.

Apart from that, the setbacks of United and Chelsea this season have given City and Arsenal more freedom to fight for the trophy. The competition would have been more difficult if United and Chelsea had been able to appear consistent. However, United were still better than Arsenal and Chelsea, because The Red Devils managed to bring home the trophy when the season ended, while Arsenal and Chelsea did not even though they finished in better places.

Apart from that, the weakness of Ten Hag fleet this season lies in the defense line, fortunately Ten Hag still has Maguire, he has again appeared impressive in many matches even though at the start of last season Ten Hag no longer wanted him. The ups and downs in United performance this season have been very significant, but when they managed to win the FA Cup trophy, it could be said that they were still lucky.

No team should be looked down own because football is not just about how good you can play, but also a game of luck and anyone can make mistake which can cause their team a defeat.

I was not shocked with Atalanta’s result against Leverkusen because I know what Atalanta can do because they have a good and experienced coach; likewise, I was not too surprised with United's Victory over Manchester City because I know that derby matches are always tough especially finals.

Yes in football anything can happen at any given time because the game was really unbelievable like Atalanta against Bayern Leverkusen in the Europe league final because almost everybody have already concluded that Bayern Leverkusen is going to won Atalanta because of their unbeaten record, however I hope we not going to witness another unexpected results from Dortmund against Real Madrid in the champions league final again.

Surprising results are what makes the game of football more and more interesting to watch.

No team should be looked down own because football is not just about how good you can play, but also a game of luck and anyone can make mistake which can cause their team a defeat.

I was not shocked with Atalanta’s result against Leverkusen because I know what Atalanta can do because they have a good and experienced coach; likewise, I was not too surprised with United's Victory over Manchester City because I know that derby matches are always tough especially finals.

The next surprise will be the Champions League final; Dortmund can follow the suite.

I doubt it in this champions league final Borussia Dortmund against Real Madrid because we all know that when comes to champions league record they are always able and capable of doing the needful things to enable them lift the trophy, but however I think the way football is going this time around one can not predict any again till the final whistle sound.

A big Congratulations to Manchester united it was really unbelievable from them after their poor performance they have finally correct their mistake today by lifting the FA cup trophy. Manchester united have really make us proud today because we almost lose hope this season that we are not going to achieve anything, all thanks to God almighty for making us won the game and hopefully we are going to play Europe league next season.

Almost every body predicted Manchester City to win the trophy because of there current form this season but one thing about football is that football can be unpredictable  same thing also to happen at the Europa league final between Leverkusen and Atalanta people predicted Leverkusen to win the trophy because of there current form too and consistency but reverse was the case. All the same Congratulations to Manchester United.

I have two very close friends who happens to be Manchester United fans and yesterday we were analyzing their win against Manchester United as well as how they ended up having a better season than Chelsea and Arsenal who didn't win anything this season. They were so happy telling me how they never expected their club to beat Manchester City but were surprised to see them lift the English FA Cup trophy on Saturday and instead of sharing in their joy, I reminded them if the history of the club and why they shouldn't be celebrating an FA Cup final victory against Manchester City when it wasn't the UEFA Champions League final.
Manchester United is believed to be the most successful English football club while their Manchester City is just a club who recently started to well in the past one decade. When Sir Alex Ferguson was the club manager, he was asked by the media if Manchester City will play any derby match against Manchester United as the favorites and he responded by saying "not in my lifetime" but in the past 8 to 10 years, the Citizens have played most of their matches against Manchester United as favourites and that goes a long way to tell you how underperforming the club have been since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club

It's true that Manchester United have not been doing too well ever since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club as their manager but been this year FA Cup Champions is not easy and it really comes for celebration because some many big clubs in the English premier league also participated in the competition but couldn't make it to the finals talk more of winning the FA Cup Trophy, besides the FA cup trophy is one the richest and oldest competition in English football and winning it against club like Manchester City really comes for celebration because with the current form of Manchester United 99% predicted Manchester City will win the FA Cup trophy but reverse was the case. I was also excited because am a Manchester United fan.
