Pep Guardiola benched his important players for the final, City can't afford to lose to Chelsea. Manchester City are going to win their second title in this season against Chelsea, luck is only what can help Chelsea to win Manchester City. Manchester City knows they will be tied as they have to play Bournemouth on the 19th which is very close from tomorrow, there needs to be rotation of player for City, they can't lose both games they have planned, winning the final is very important for them.

Pep Guardiola is not going to try anything like rotating of players for any Bournemouth game. Statistically, looking at Arsenal's remaining fixtures I don't see them losing any of those games, so the title race is over, so I don't see any reason of trying to risk another trophy from entering the cabinet for a title race that is over. Guardiola for sure is going with his full squad and coming back with another trophy, but if he does otherwise and city lose the trophy, then I will have him to blame. City can focus on the premier league for next season.

Man City may be the favourites over Chelsea, but that doesn’t mean  they’ll win easily, because Chelsea look set to put up a fierce fight, as winning the FA Cup would pave  the way for them to compete in the Europa League next season. In addition, Man City must also  spread their attention between the title race and given their hectic schedule, I would imagine  that Pep Guardiola might well opt to rotate the squad.

Chelsea have little chance of participating in European competition as they are currently ninth in the table , or four points behind the UEFA Conference  League qualification spot. Therefore, this  FA Cup Final is a real opportunity for Chelsea to secure a place in the Europa League

When it comes to this game, there's more to it than just the recent performance of both team because for a team like Chelsea, this is the only trophy that they are close to winning this season and the last thing they will allow happen is that it slips through them. Manchester city is already struggling in the premier league and wants to get as many good results as possible that will not only win them the FA cup but that still gives fans the hope that things can still change in the dieing minute and they get to still win the premier league. They are the better team obviously but then, it's not about who's the better team. It's about who's more resolved to get a win in this all important finals.

Manchester City is the favourite to win the trophy because of Chelsea recent performance, since Chelsea sacked Enzo Maresca they have turn to a team that any opponent can beat because Chelsea can not Burnley or Wolve that are in relegation zone at this point, Chelsea fans also know that the team can not beat Pep Guardiola team that is in good form right now and Peo will do anything to win the trophy because it looks like the premier league race is about to end as Arsenal is the favourite to win the title.

I gat your points to som extent, based of current form of Manchester City at this moment, definitely they look more stronger than Chelsea,because Chelsea has be struggling inconsistency this season, in facts thier performances are very disappointing and that's why many fans doesn't have much confidence on them that they could be able to win this FA Cup final against Manchester City, expecialy when Chelsea arr facing big team, I so much have doubts on them also.

I hear some Chelsea players (Reece, Colwill, and etc) are coming back from their injuries. So it's obvious tightening City's job to beat them in away game. So expecting them to lose with huge scores make no sense especially when this is gonna be a home game for them.
I think to bet on the narrow score such as one nil much more reasonable. They're terrible, but finals are always different thing.

It could be said to be a dilemma considering the motivation of both teams to win the FA Cup this season. Man City is certainly motivated by their two previous domestic trophies having already won the Carabao and now has their sights set on the FA Cup. They also still have hope of winning EPL title if they win their remaining two matches and hope Arsenal loses or draws.

Meanwhile Chelsea desperately needs the FA Cup to salvage a dismal season having already sacked two managers. Moreover a win over Man City would automatically secure a Europa League spot next season through the FA Cup. So Chelsea motivation in the final will be even greater.

Chelsea is a club that always take finals seriously regardless of their performance but wirh how poor they're performing lately i don't think I can say that I'm confident they'll do same thing with this current interim manager, I just hope they do so they can earn a spot in the Europa League it's not the standard but it's better than not playing any European competition.

That's right. I also predict that Manchester City will win the FA Cup this season. Realistically the FA Cup is easier for Man City to win than EPL. While they still have a chance they still have tough opponents in the remaining matches and are also dependent on Arsenal performance.

So for Pep it will be easier to win this final than the Premier League trophy and Man City will certainly give it their all in this match not caring about the risk of fatigue when they face Bournemouth three days later. Stop using previous records to judge this match. Chelsea played beyond my expectations and they were able to defend and end the first half in a goalless draw. I didn't see any big stunts from Manchester City attack despite resting Haaland for this match. The first half is over and the second half will determine who wins the trophy.
