From my believe I think Bitcoin is still very cheap of you are holding for long term, if you are holding for long term you don't have to be scared of buying bitcon you don't have to be scared of drop in price that's happening currently just buy and hold but if you are short trader you have to study the chart carefully.

Yes that's true in today's hard working life we are not managing to save much due to inflation and our daily necessary items prices have also skyrocketed due to which even if we earn more we are able to save less.But still saving and investing the same amount is crucial for future survival and if we choose the wrong coin then it could be fund loss so it's better to stick with btc rather than going for some new altcoin projects which could be scam.Invest your money wisely.

Lately, I've been putting a lot of work to educate myself toward Bitcoin, going through ressources from hope.com / 10hoursofbitcoin.com / Essays / Well document articles...... im officially down the rabbit hole.

I have the feeling that i am starting to understand deeper what Bitcoin truly is, what it brings, how it changes everything, what hope it brings, and mostly, how HONNEST it BTC is.
I am more and more amazed by it, to the point that i've lost almost any interest toward any other crypto «currencies».

To put it in other word, i want to add more bitcoin to my portfolio but with current near ATH price, i am not sure how to proceed from here.
We all know buying at/near ATH is not the best move. On the other hand, people will suggest « DCA DCA - long term long term».


Yes I've been doing DCA with BTC. I've stopped doing so at 2 weeks ago, at 59k. Thought it was getting high to buy.


What are you guys currently doing ? Still buying at 65-68k ? Waiting a for a while ?

Only invest and trade what you can afford to lose and proper risk management. There’s no specific timetable on when will BTC is going to pump or dump. It can happen without warning as the market is unpredictable.

I’m not even sure about the specific support level of BTC right now, coz’ anytime there would be another wave of FUD or bad news and we should be prepared for that. Expect the unexpected.

Well, the above is true. While many expect the trajectory line to be similar to most of the prediction of Bitcoin reaching 100K there is also the fact that the market can move in the opposite direction by the same degree. It is not that's likely but the possibility should never be countered.

if you want successful trading you better believe in something you do when you buy bitcoin at prices close to ATH.
if you trade with doubt you will panic when the price dump a few % and you will experience a loss. but if you experience a loss it doesn't matter, it should be a lesson for you to be more careful when buying coins

We all know buying at/near ATH is not the best move.

trading has a high risk when you place your money wrong. so when you want to buy btc you need to set a strategy so that when the price drops you don't panic and are full of doubts.
if i see, it seems that you are still hesitant in trading.
my suggestion is that you better buy another coin whose price is lower than btc.

Sometimes it happens that altcoins are more profitable than Bitcoin, nor to deny that. Like investing coins that are in hypes gives us x2, x3, multiple times in general, and that is good.

The chance of you from getting profit x2 or more is the same chance or more to getting loss. Unless you're investing alts that were established already, like those top 20 coins listed on cmc. BNB is more impressive coin to invest either in short term or long term. For eth it should be in long term.

The chance of profiting from altcoins is relatively the same in BTC. The difference is, the former has a bigger chance of flopping due to its uncertainty and longevity. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has proven its dominance on the market over the course of its years. Though its price may be volatile, the amount of security that you get is somehow higher compared to alts.

Though I do agree that if you invest into the top 10-20 altcoins, there may be a chance of doubling your investments. But of course, everything is a double-edged sword- either you win or you lose.

If there is any person out there who sells when the price is dropping significantly knowing that is EXACTLY what they shouldn't do, then there is two possible reasons for something like that. Either they have no reason to actually care about what they "should" do, or they are just plainly unaware of how trading works.

I understand anyone who has been trading under one year and make this mistake but if you have been around for over a year and traded or invested and still make this mistake? Then I am sorry but you knew the risks and you still did it so you deserve that loss. I can't really feel sorry for people who sell when the price is going down, and since it is going down then it means there are some people who do sell, otherwise it wouldn't go down. I even understand not buying, but selling is just not acceptable at all and needs to stop.

DCA you would say but this is something that cant really be done easily by anybody even if they do have the money which they could invest on.Therefore, it would still end up on mattering out risk management factor or level on a certain individual when it comes to this because not anytime we could really make out some consideration when it comes to these kind of situations.Some might
really buy in on gradual basis and some would just simply wait until the market had made out some possible bottom scenarios or conditions thats why buying is not really that simple

I can’t really understand where the market is heading to at this time. Usually when the market has gotten to a new all time high price like this, and something that is really as high as what you have seen now, it will start going down later on. But this year has been kind of different, the market has been maintaining the $60,000 price rate and doesn't seem like it's coming down anytime soon.

Though sometimes we do see some bearish trends, like as of recent the market has been down to around $50,000 range, and we can tell what’s going to be the next move from there, whether it will continue going down or go back up again. You are looking in 1 Bitcoin over 21 million of it or right now I think 18m in circulation. You might want to look at the other side of it by satoshis.
Waiting might get you in trouble of missing out on the boat and then regretting it in the long run. I think most users here do feel that and some even made a thread about it.
Now, if you really know where the market will flow, you can wait. If you think the price will still move down at a substantial amount then go wait for it.
But if you don't have any idea about it then just buy and let the future decide where it will go which IMO will go north.

i think i can bide on your opinion, because a thing of this nature have stated by me in these by in different explanation dimensions, bitcoin is a currency that follows the market regulations not by man made regulations, so to get any currency via investment. You don't have to wait till the time frame of it's time to come down before purchasing, at this point in time, bitcoin can either go up or down, and irrespective the market fluctuations no one can get lost for bitcoin investment, the best option for it's investment is for invest on it for a period of time.

i entered in several altcoins that had a drastic drop when bitcoin dumped and took some profits.
We all hope Bitcoin is able to hit a new ATH again this year.
