For me I think they can still do good and can improve more. They are also one of the low gas fee on L1, that can rival on eth and bsc. They just need to be more aggressive on expanding and maybe we can see it on $5 or more in the future. Not a matic fan but I just assess it based on its current position now. I am more on ftm and avax maxi anyway. Not biased om that one but matic is still sleeping in my opinion.

This project followed the bullish trend that major coins have. I see this project has the capabilities to go along with the tough market competition. That is correct until they figure out a way to fix the congestion. I get that right now it looks like it has been over a year and it also happened in the past as well, so we keep having the same problem and we haven't seen a fix. This resulted with other projects providing an alternative solutions, we have ones like Matic that offer Layer 2, in that case you end up with dealing a lot better and quicker and pay a lot less if you are an avid user of ETH products, we also ended up with other stuff like SOL that offers much faster transactions and bigger TPS.

All of these are valid until ETH finds a way to drop the congestion and make it cheap again, I do not know how they could do it, but I know that if they ever find a way to fix it, and get the gas fees lower again then in that situation all of these "solutions" would be for nothing and will drop. That is my biggest scare for these coins.

Polygon's been performing well in price ever since the year started. While most other altcoins turned bearish, MATIC's been doing all of the contrary. In crypto land, anything's possible. I've seen cryptocurrencies with low interest/demand only to rise all the way to the moon due to hype. Considering that Polygon (MATIC) is a smart contract platform, it's possible the cryptocurrency will reach new All-time-highs with the persisting "De-Fi"/NFTs/Metaverse hype. TX fees are ridiculously low while confirmation times are near instant. If Solana went to triple digits (even though it's utterly centralized) then MATIC can do better. Anything below $2 per coin would be considered a bargain. Who knows what will happen with MATIC's price within the course of the year? Just my opinion

I think impossible from $2 will reach to $100 for Polygon or matic coin, although not any impossible with cryptocurrency but look most expectation reach $100 for Polygon coin. Matic usecase is very high And i think single network which had very low gas fee on dex. I used many times quickswap and find that Gas fee is negotiable.

I agree that it is not going to be really that difficult for all of us to see Matic not doing badly. Sure ETH gas fee could be going down for a while now and that will obviously get some attention away from Matic and into ETH  a bit more. However, there are 2 reasons why it could survive this situation. First of all, ETH gas fee drop doesn't look permanent, it is just right now and it could get worse later on at which time we will need it for sure.

Secondly, eth is not the only reason for it to be used, there could be a reason where people use it even if eth gas fee is low, this is not the majority but they do exists. Which is why when you consider these two, it still has a good future.

I think there are a wide range of projects under matic but we only didn't notice it because most of us focus on other more popular chains like bsc and eth. There in fact a few project that are on trend last time on matic. One of it is like a sunflower game and that have cause for the matic network to get congested.
