Matic seems to be one of the successful alternative Ethereum networks in terms of adoption.

I think it will grow in 2022 as more and more projects start using it.

Price is already a bit high though, so I'm not sure if you can make incredible gains starting today, but also I don't think you'll lose money in 2022 with Matic.

Good to hear that MATIC already broke the $2, for the past few months, MATIC stays below $2 and has not fallen below $1.
I'm glad for MATIC, as they are the first popular layer 2 networks built on top of Ethereum. As time goes by, most of the projects are starting to move or also using other Layer 2 networks.
I believe MATIC will lead the layer 2 mania, $2 is still cheap for Matic.

For me I think they can still do good and can improve more. They are also one of the low gas fee on L1, that can rival on eth and bsc. They just need to be more aggressive on expanding and maybe we can see it on $5 or more in the future. Not a matic fan but I just assess it based on its current position now. I am more on ftm and avax maxi anyway. Not biased om that one but matic is still sleeping in my opinion.

It's useful and convenient to use especially when you are looking for little fees on transaction fees. Some of the NFT games already use MATIC for their internal transactions which is reasonable because the transaction fees are almost nothing. This is how it should be for ETH because the unreasonable gas fees which they don't really care will be the one reason for their investors to leave their network and migrate to MATIC because of their lack of conscience.

A big expectation for Matic but still, Matic needs to have the patience to wait for that because no matter what, Matic can move and break the high price if bitcoin price back to the right track. The price now is traded at $2.13 so there is a chance for Matic to break $2.2 or even higher so I guess this month can be good for Matic to lift the price and hopefully, that will happen too with bitcoin price. But if the bitcoin price still does not increase to the high price, maybe the altcoin season can come in this month. I expect the good thing to happen for Matic so I can make a profit from it.

I have always believed in Matic and eventually it hit 2$, that's wonderful! I remain optimistic about its price in 2022 and I think that it will go up to 5$. This chain attracts more new users because it is cheap and it has a very fast-growing ecosystem. It has a lot of trendy projects connected with NFT, gaming and metaverse. I am sure that it will continue developing and, as a result, there will be new ATH soon.

In my opinion, polygon is one of the most undervalued cryptocurrency. It's been around since 2019 and despite the fact that it was successfully listed on great exchange like binance, kucoin and huobi, the value has remained relatively stable. I feel its high time the project considers doing things differently and hopefully we could be having matic trading at over 10$ by next year.

Nothing is definite in the crypto industry, you can think a coin will dump, and then it doesn't, and you can also feel a coin will pump, and then it doesn't, so it's up to you to do your research and if you believe in the project that it will continue to rise, then you can invest in it. Mind you also that when you ask questions like this, users tend to speak positively about the project/coin if they are holding it, or are regular investors of the project, they do this to create hype and pump the coin. Having said that, I've done only a little research into the Matic project, and I'd say my expectations aren't too high, but it's very possible they'll do better next year, but you must also take note that's there's a high possibility of coins like this to pump and subsequently dump, so invest only what you can afford to lose.

About price wise it's up to general market situation, if we see this bull run longer then I have positive thoughts about Matic. It's pretty good blockchain but currently majority of people use Binance Smart Chain. Polygon and Avalanche have less userbase. It may change next year though, there are problems about BSC these days.
I was an early investor of Matic but I sold already, I didn't buy again. If I see big fall I may use that advantage again.

Exactly what I think about the whole crypto space. If you are thinking that Matic will have a different discourse then all of crypto world then you are very mistaken, it is quite obvious that we are going to have to face the fact that Matic will move to direction where everything else will move.

There is nothing in the crypto world that would move independently aside from bitcoin, and Matic is not an exception to it. What I believe 2022 for crypto will be just a fine increase, not something insanely high, not something like 100k+ for bitcoin and 10k+ for ethereum type of deal, which is why I believe that there is a good chance we could end up with Matic at 5-6 dollars easily, I do not think it would be a drop.
