superstition in trading is a very silly thing, I would never believe it. trading requires skill as well as strong emotional control, and superstition is not something that can make a trader lucky. see how successful traders work, they rely on the abilities they have trained themselves, not playing with superstition or shamans.

In all honesty, I haven't had any superstitious beliefs when it comes to trading. I guess, it is not the thing anymore as we know they have nothing to do with the market. But maybe, some others are believing into something just for the sake that it gives good feeling for them. But when it comes to crypto, I don't think superstitious beliefs will help you in achieving success, it is the experience, skills and know-how.

Do your job and dont rely on luck because trading isnt something that do relies on luck alone.Well, in some circumstances on which there would be some need of mix with luck because unexpected things do really happen on the market and this isnt something can be avoided but doesnt mean that you would act like a gambler.

No other things that could increase your chance of profitability but rather with your own experience and skill.Dont believe into those supertitious beliefs
because it has nothing to do with things.

haha.. Most traders thats what they think if they wear shirts of the day. Lol but it's just a belief. Because you know to be honest once you're become confident in your strategies and you always makes back test probably there's no worries what color you want to wear everyday, wherein before you get off in the bed what will pop up on your mind is what's your missing in the last trade and what strategy can give you good win rate everyday not the color of your shirts. Lol

I think successful people also have a bit of a superstition in their planning and training, but for them to translate into achievements, they respect more than personal ideas, superstition is just compensating for the little things in the plan so that they feel perfect and less flawed. This superstition is higher among amateur traders due to the times when their analytical techniques were at their maximum but to no avail, they needed some superstition, need more worshiping and burning incense so that the spirit produces positive emotions, wouldn't be too silly as long as this superstition is psychologically appropriate

Yes, I have a favorite superstition, to do the opposite from the crowd! When I see masses are moving, and people are rushing to do something I tend to do the opposite... it took some time, and losses, before I figured that out, but since I did trading works just fine for me!
In trading, like in gambling, superstions exist, but we all know that doesn't really work! It can be good for self esteem probably, to give you some positive thoughts about how its your moment and your night... and nothing more from that!

But I didn't follow any such until now, maybe when I started to have a feel that the price will dump so I will cashout some money and it worked a few times so my instinct is my superstition.

I do not have any superstitions but sometimes, when I see the chart or the coins lists, I feel something different, making me analyze deeper. It is like our feeling take part to tell us about the coins and sometimes that makes me buy or sell the coins. And after a few hours, the coins will move to the opposite. I can not tell how it feels and I am hard to express it. But I think many traders can feel that thing.

Yes is purely knowledge, skills to navigate the market safely and make all the profit you desire. I don't believe in superstition on trade because that itself doesn't appear reasonable, you are going to be trading against millions of people across the globe and what kind of superstition will hold them out lol. Control of emotions as you said, right thinking and analysis of the market does the trading tricks and not colour of bracelet  or waking up rightly or wrongly from bed

You would realize that these things cant be possible if you do actually had the right experience on how it does work.You wont really believing that it does exist
because this is something that wont really be that possible for you to deal off and believe off.It all matters on how you do choose your bet according into your
knowledge and this isnt something in regard or depends on some supersittious beliefs because it isnt really that possible on that one.

I don't have but sometimes I have some sort of activity to do when I feel lucky. Not directly that it will give me an increased winning chance but hey, we all want a boost when we feel lucky. It happened when I do hunt cheap coins with a nice volume on that day. I can't tell specifically what I'm doing but when I feel lucky, I sometimes treat my friends outside or anything related to entertainment, then when came I back home, tadah! A nice profit once I check my portfolio! My hangover won't try to harm me the next day as the excitement is more dominant.

Of course, that involves analysis. I will not just choose some random cheap coins not reaching my criteria. It's good to wait for something good when you know you will achieve it by higher chance because of our planned strategy.

I try to make the right decision using my experience and trading knowledge while trading. Because I don't believe in superstition. When you focus on something other than your trading skills, your chances of making the wrong decision increase. As many experienced traders as I have seen, all of them prefer trading skills, and they are actually in the market to do something good.

But yes you will find many people who believe in different superstitions to change their luck, I don't think it's a bad thing either we should respect everyone's own thinking.

What the heck with that? Like it's some sort to asked for guidance on the Spirit of the Digital assets? I guess it wouldn't make some perfect sense you can just have a calm mind and unwavering patience to HODL and that's the superstition I'm believing. It all boils down to a healthy mind when investing.

Honestly speaking never ever had such sort of stupid superstitions. I do have some sort of market-based superstitions that I have a couple of coins which I feel are not at all profitable for me personally, no matter how well they perform but I would never be able to make profit trading those coins, and there are a few coins that are very lucky for me and they usually give me a lot of profit.

But honestly I think all these are just excuses we use to hide the problems with our trading because eventually all this doesn't matters that much in trading, what matters the most is how well do you handle markets in critical situations.

No and I did not even knew that people did this but it seems it is quite common if I what I read on this thread is any indication, but I will recommend that you forget about this, after all there is no relationship between those superstitions and the results you get in the markets, it is better to dedicate our time to try to improve our trading and investing strategy so we can minimize our losses and maximize our profits, I know this is more difficult than to follow a superstition but it is the only path that leads to success.

Mine is not looking at the results right away. I feel like if I buy something and check the price for the first day then there is a good possibility that it will fall, which I know is not something realistic and doesn't change anything at all but that is just how I do.

Since, I am not a day trader and a long term holder, the price dropping on first day wouldn't even matter to me so why I do not check it is still beyond me, maybe because if it drops too significantly then I missed a better chance to buy cheaper? Aside from that I usually keep everything I buy at least 6 months unless something unexpected happens so there is no logical argument for me to not check it. It is a superstition after all.

I am not sure if I have superstitions because I do not think much about them.
I trade when I want to trade and feel that the market moves well and I do not analyze many coins.
I only check on the market, which coins are down and I will start to analyze for more to see if that coins can increase after the next few days.
There is nothing much I did and I think it is not superstitions but I do not know much about superstitions.

luck always accompanies us when we trade, but not with superstitious beliefs in my opinion. Trading is logical and we must be able to think logically too so that we don't associate everything with beliefs for the market journey. we analyze then trade and place targets and stop losses, after that we leave it to fate, or for some reason we stop in the middle of the road

Yes sometimes it happens but these are just a thoughts. Sometime i think that when certain days i get up early and just have to focus on trading then  i make profit hardly that day. But when i does not think as much then profit are easily achieve. So these are all misconceptions not a real so if these type of thinking are related with trading then it will be hard to do well. Just make good concentration and focus on your trading aim.
