I used to do this, when trading I wore the ring my mom gave me but this time I don't because of superstition when gambling looks like an idiot...

trading requires skill not help from ghosts or anything, so don't ever believe in superstitious things that are said to make you win, newbies are usually happy with superstition.

While I believe in luck in trading, I don't see a place for superstition in it. Believing in superstition in crypto would easily pass off as one taking crypto trading as gambling. Trading has a set of rules that govern it, if one doesn't meet those rules which are in form of skills; one gets into loss. Being superstitious or not doesn't count.

I don't know you call it superstitions  or whatever but Every time I buy a coin, it price go down. However when i I sell the coin, its prices go up.

It's not superstition, except you feel (erroneously though) that someone is monitoring your moves from the assets you're buying. Otherwise, I like to tell you that such happens to all of us. There are times when I've found myself in such scenario you've described here. I take a right turn, the asset takes a left turn; as soon as I buy or sell.

I am not sure if I have superstitions because I do not think much about them.
I trade when I want to trade and feel that the market moves well and I do not analyze many coins.
I only check on the market, which coins are down and I will start to analyze for more to see if that coins can increase after the next few days.
There is nothing much I did and I think it is not superstitions but I do not know much about superstitions.

Are U having good results with ETH?

Not too often because ETH movement is not predicted and I often miss the right time to buy very low price.
But when I see the price still at a low price while bitcoin still not moving up, I will buy for some amount and hold.
Usually, after the bitcoin price increases, ETH can increase to sell for some amount that I already bought.
But sometimes, my waiting time to sell ETH can be longer than usual as the movement is hard to predict.
In that case, I only hold it or I use it to trade using ETH pair altcoin.

Most people have such superstitious habits, it is funny but it exists, I am optimistic about the odd numbers and when I place an order to buy or sell I choose the odd numbers and I think it will bring me luck, I am also optimistic about certain days to make profits like Friday. I also have a bad feeling that when I collect a large number of any coin its price will inevitably go down (this has happened to me already many times).
I do not think that these things are true, but they have happened several times. This is related to the psychological state of man. We all dream of profit, so we are optimistic or pessimistic about superstitious things.

None of like such preferences as trading is done solely on my research and what my gut feelings say about the coin as once i also feel like you that if i wear this suit then it will benefit me but later on this thought eluded with time and now i don't have any such feeling in the trading and do it with my mind only.

Such a combination is not possible at all in the case of cryptocurrency trading. However, I have tried a lot to make such a combination but did not succeed. In most trades my chances of making a profit are very low. So lately, I've stopped trading.

it sounds weird but i see some people i know believe it. I never believed that myself.
maybe it's just a positive motivation for themselves when they have believed in something and were convinced by their coconut to change their way of thinking to remain convinced of things that are not logical for other people.

As of I am not following any superstitions for my trading but I do follow while gambling but after this topic and coming across what most traders do share, I guess it would be beneficial if I follow superstitions even for trading. At the same time, I am not into profits with gambling along with following superstitions but I was able to extend my gambling for given same bankroll to enjoy more. Similarly I guess I will be able to avoid losses in crypto trading if I start following superstitions while trading cryptocurrencies.

No, I understand the charts and I know support/resistance levels. I know where to buy and when to sell from these levels and prior set points of trading. I use that to trade and not think of some crow flying or cat meowing.

Humans like to be cognitively biased. That is the basis of superstitions. They have no scientific backing and are nothing more than another pseudoscience. If they keep you calm and happy, well and good. But when it comes to money and trading, you should think about them but about Fundamental and Technical.

If you are sitting in front of trading terminal all day, then you are day trading or likely doing it all wrong. No shirt or a bare chest will help you there.

Decide on what you believe but be scientific when it comes to real life. Only you are responsible for your losses or gains. Dont move that blame from yourself to some black cat or a broken glass.

yes I have, even though it sounds funny but I believe when something strange happens to my hand when I want to sell the coin I cancel it and then a few days later the price of the coin continues to increase it often happens to me so it makes me believe in it. although it sounds strange I think it's a natural thing in one's life.

I don't have any favorite superstitious belief in trading. I just simply don't trade when I'm hungry because that could affect my decisions negatively. I feel lucky whenever I trade when I'm happy. As for me, proper handling of our emotions is still the best strategy that we could have while trading.

I guess some traders believe their instinct, although they still use their analysis before they decide to enter the market. Maybe we can call it superstitions but they do not want to say that is superstitions as the meaning of superstitions itself will be different. Whether we use superstitions or we ignore that, we are free to trade and will have our own way to search the sign to enter the market. If we think that our feeling is too strong and ask us to enter the market and we follow our feeling and then suddenly, we can make a big profit, that will be a lucky moment.

In my country, most people believe in spirituality in all areas of life. This may sound like interesting discussion but I am afraid like more traders may start treating trading similar to gambling because when more number of trader are believing into superstition and then trading may not remain as how it is today.

I am not following any superstitions for my trading and also I will discourage anyone for doing so. You should always believe into your technical analysis only so that you could make profit from trading and believing in luck factor or superstition may not help for achieving consistency.

There’s nothing wrong to believe on something, I see this as a normal belief of people on everything and we can use that on any thing especially if you think you are that lucky if you do that before doing anything. I have many belief, like washing hands before trading so I can have a good luck and remove all the negative vibes in me, also I trade on my favorite time of the day which is night since I know during this time, the market is good.
