You're too late to say this. You should say this when the price of bitcoin was around 50k sub but this has been going to the the below 48k. None know for sure whethe rbitcoin has been reaching the bottom level or not. The bearish trend already happened and so many altcoins have been losing around 50% from their ATH. Don't you see it as a proof if the bearish trend already started since last month?
So many people have also been talking about this since last month as well.

Lol it's already happened and you must see the chart again. Bitcoin already plunged so hard from the top to the bottom in a short time. It's enough to prove that if market is facing bearish market right now. There's no need to wait for another sell off to happen.

Whales already sell-off and the only thing keep the price changing right now are retail investors that keep buying and selling. No one will gonna sell off more since the majority of holders are institutional investors and most them are still accumulating and don't have plan to sell for a break even. They are just waiting for a more perfect opportunity to buy more and this whales will once again ride the waves to reach that new ATH. The price looks not good but this major retracement always happened when Bitcoin reach ATH. Still all good.

But what does it really tells us? Bitcoin is volatile, and that's it. We cannot always expect for a bull just because we experienced it. It's like history is just repeating itself. Bitcoin went 20k at 2017 then a bear comes. After that, investors are expecting too much. It did happen but it just took time.
Patience is the key. Or, are we that in a rush because we are looking at altcoins getting their pumps at a short span while Bitcoin cannot? I'd rather take the long confident road.

BTC rose from 3800$ to 67000$ this year, ETH rose from 100$+ to 4500$ if these haven't show you that we've reached a new ATH already I don't know what will, it's either you ate expecting way too much from crypto or you missed investing early in 2020 to 2nd quarter of 2021

Retail investors are humans too, they understand the buy low and sell high strategy so at one point they will eventually dump just to acquire more bitcoin before next bitcoin halving, bear market is imminent that's 100% sure

We are teetering on the edge of a bear market with each passing week. When it does finally hit the big players will likely liquidate their risky positions first which are usually most of the major and minor altcoins.  While I do not think it will be as bad at the 2017/2018 sell-off there are so many more people this time around that are wy overleveraged. Be careful out there and especially now do not put more money out than you would be comfortable losing.

The price is strongly hovering within the $47k-$50k showing a strong resistance zone around that market price range. Price might go further bearish if the zone breaks but if it is unable to break through then a new bull run starts to test back the previous ATHs and if it breaks the zone a new ATH is set

Bitcoin and most of the crypto are now sustaining in a higher limit, lower than their all time high but higher than the ATH of last year. The prices are fluctuating within a range.
December to January/February (Chinese new year) always has been somewhat bearish market for crypto as well as stocks. This seem to be a festive time and people spend more than they save. We could expect much activity in the second quarter of 2022.

I also think that bear market has already started, nevertheless, I don't think that crypto-winter is about to start soon. The main feature of crypto-winter is that there are few investors and there are few developers who found new projects, but now there are plenty of NFT-projects and metaverse projects, so I think that hype of crypto is still going.

A few months ago, after the previous ATH, everything plunged this way and many people started talking about trend reversal, bear market...

But then, it made a new ATH with the double top, which many didn't expect. If you believe in TA, double top means that now it will really go down, but I don't believe in technical analysis as a science, sorry.

Take into account that more people than ever is starting to believe or be interested in crypto worldwide. If this goes really mainstream, if we are seeing the first signs of true adoption, crypto winter may be further than many expect.

I agree with you that currently the market is in a bear market condition, but many people do not see and take advantage of this situation well, if you see the market cycle at the end of each year always decreases and at the beginning of the year the market increases again, I think this is the time best to buy potential altcoins like ethereum and binance.

Will the bear market occur in mid-December today or vice versa when the price is already deep enough resistance, will the community and large investors be able to enter and have a positive impact so that the bull market occurs at the end of December to January? we'll see with the price continuing to fall it provides a great opportunity for us to make purchases on some coins.

Then it's either we:

(a) prepare ourselves for the eventual bearish market
(b) accumulate if you have funds and buy cheap coins
(c) be resilient, it might take another 3 years again for the market to recover

So this for me is a good plan for the next 3 months as we brace ourselves for another crypto winter.

We’ve been trending downwards for a while now, there doesn’t seem to be a willingness to get & stay above 50k. I do think we are at the start of a bear market yes. Whatever though, we all know this is what happens, bitcoin moves in cycles. Buy when everybody else panics & sell when everybody is greedy. We will see new highs agsin, just be patient.

You are probably new to the crypto market. This is how it has always been. The price starts to rise, be stable for a while and then drops. The falling of the price is actually the correction phase. Happens when the price goes up very fast. And it doesn't always goes lower. Why just look at the last month price? How about going back few years and then compare the price? You will see that the price went up a lot. Zoom out the charts even more, and you will see that from few dollars, bitcoin now worth thousands of dollars. I doubt any massive sell out is going to happen anytime soon. The price is already down to $45k while it was above $60k few months ago. Invest now and maximize your profit.

But maybe you forgot that winter won't come and stay forever. It may be people are selling off their Bitcoin this time for the Christmas celebration and it was just fine, in fact, the price of Bitcoin remains $45k- $50k, ain't that affecting much unless if we fall down below $40k. That is why I would say that I'd never see winter tell now, the market is still strong and bullish for me (it is a different look that you've seen).
Well, have to worry yourself but not me. I mean, I guess you may not as the market won't fall like what happened last 2017/2018.
