In this thread I share my opinion. I know 2 types of gambling. Sports and casino. I have both types experience. At first I started to play casino like roulette, dice, ludu. Roulette was my favourite casino table. One day I won 7k usd on roulette table. But I couldn't retain it. I lost all the usd in 10 minutes and day by day my lossing amount increased. Sometimes casino table was so tough. Whatever I bet all lost. No sequence maintained. If I won a day, I would loss 5 days at a stretch. It seemed all was fixed. I shifted to sports betting. I started to follow biggest football league like English premier League, la Liga, french Liga etc. Researched the teams statistics and placed bet. Gradually I covering my losses. What's your experience?

Even I started with casino games like dice, hi-lo game, crash etc... and no doubt the long term results were in a loss.
But I used to play for fun and hence I am not sad with the losses. I have tried betting too but not sports betting.
I mostly bet on crypto prices and so far it has been good for me. I was able to make profits in most of my bets.

Which platform do you use to bet on crypto prices ? As far as i know freebitco.in gives you the opportunity to bet on Bitcoin and Ethereum prices. Don't know if there are more platforms to bet on crypto prices.
Usually, people do future trading which is also similar to betting on crypto prices.

I'd say sports betting is much similar like poker or skilled games, while casino is purely depends on your luck... all you need is have a lot bankroll and spin until you satisfied. I like both of them, sports betting actually more fun when you bet a team and you watching the match with your friends while casino you can enjoy it yourself when you have free time. Usually I got bored of spinning on casino, so sports betting are indeed more fun.

Even if both kind of games are offered by casinos their nature is very different, a sport bet adds one more element of excitement to something that you already enjoy, after all you would not place a bet on an event you do not care about, so sports bets are nothing more but a mean to an end, on the other hand regular casino games like roulette are the end themselves, you obtain your entertainment exclusively by playing those games, and at the end which one you prefer is a matter of personal preference.

Every profound gambler won't even have the time to remember if it's risky to gamble his life savings or not; the idea always is that : you will win this turn ...and with these, turns and turns keep passing by and nothing happens except for few compensation just to make them feel like they have gotten something in return for the time spent and thier money but in real sense,nothing has been achieved!!
It is advisable not to get addicted to it in the first place and not to learn gambling by staking high coins because if you get used to it, you'll never be able to quit just so easily. ...

Good for you then to shift. Basically, playing casino games requires no strategy, and the result, not sure profit. If you really care for winnings, you are in a good decision to focus on sports betting since you can use your knowledge about the game to help you in your future bets.

As always, just be relaxed and avoid doing random bets. Also, consider not to be lured easily on high odds expecting a big win in return.

Casino is for pure luck and its just normal for someone who do look into something which could give out more chances for you to win and of course you would really be sticking into that but for leisure purposes

and some people do really love to see instant results then this is where they do consider out on dealing with casinos but well just like others been saying that this do really ends up with users preference

Correct and sometimes, bet on what you feel is your interest for the day.

I'm a pure sports bettor but there's always a time that I still play on casinos. The entertainment and that excitement wherever I see those flashy graphics when hitting a bonus or multipliers is still a unique experience.

I guess it all depends if you just want to have fun and test your luck, then you choose the casino. If you want to test your knowledge of sports and have experience, then you can try to earn money by betting on sports.

By accepting the losses, we can learn that playing gambling does not need to be serious, especially if that is about playing gambling games based on luck as we do not know when our luck will come. Yes it depends on each player because we have different preference when it comes to gambling. In my case I enjoy playing luck based games like slots and dice. I can get instant result, its entertaining and exciting as well. But there's no certain strategy that can help to increase the chances to win. Sports bet on other side is a bit different because having knowledge is an edge to win, this is also where I often get a good result. But most of the time when I gamble, I spend it playing games that requires more on luck.

As for me, I will definitely say sports betting is better  because it is possible to increase your chances of winning by simply being very selective about your bets and applying expert knowledge of your chosen sport.  Of course this doesn’t mean you will always win, or even that you will definitely win in the long term, but you at least have the chance to apply a degree of skill and thereby give yourself a fighting chance.Unlike casino games, casino has the bigger chance. Depends upon the convenience that it provides.

Generally, people who bet in sports are also the ones who are fans of such respective sports. For example, an avid NBA player would most likely bet on his favorite team against an opponent since they are relatively knowledgeable about it. If they can research about the standings between teams, it may give the person a broad idea on which team to bet.

On the other hand, betting on a casino involves various methods (such as the ones you have mentioned). But, you people are mistaking casino games. Profit making may not be the only target for many gamblers here then how it will be possible to choose either one? A gambler must choose what they want as the criteria of "profitable" may not be a concern for many gamblers here. You can bet on sports and can make more profits than losses but definitely you cannot feel any thrills of gambling. It is almost equivalent to doing a business or trading.

But, casino games are here to thrill us. If you love adrenaline rushing and excitement of ups and downs of mood swings then you should gamble in games and feel the entertainment; here if you make profits then it is an bonus but you should never expect the same in next days as well.
