Looks like bitcoin has a good bounce back, however, I think it's just a bull trap so everyone will be jumping again. I find the market now bearish so I would not trust any minor pump, instead, I would continue buying everytime the price dump as I believe on the discounted price and we might see more market sale due to the bear market.

if you have a lot of capital, continue to buy at deep prices it can be done. buy gradually and with an increase in the number of assets in each purchase.
but if you still believe the market is still bearish, then the right decision is to wait until the market rebounds and finds the strongest support.
bear market is a good opportunity for those who have spare capital.

Actually, every time can be a good moment to buy ETH, by average. Moreover when we buy it by understanding what we are supposed to do next.
I mean that we exactly know the purpose of buying ETH or BTC itself, for short term or long term.
And every time the price dropped like now is actually a good moment to buy BTC (once more by average because we will not know later will be dipping again or not).
Sometimes, people are more desired to buy BTC and ETH when the price is very high when the hype of the crypto is very high. But when the market crashed like what happen right now, they are too afraid to buy again.

It's the opposite actually, thus, OP has already decided to buy and he just did the right thing of buying whether it's bitcoin or ethereum. But he has chosen to buy bitcoin and that's a plus to him. The market has become good eventually and bitcoin has recovered and goes back to $38k as of typing this. That's a quick turnover coming from $33k and that made us think that it's going further and below $30k but so far, so good and it's starting to recover let's see where this is going to go and if it will break $40k.

Both are good deals, and yes, it is a good moment to buy Bitcoin and ETH because they dipped so far from their ATH, so in the next pump, you could have more profits if you're patient enough to hodl. Don't put the eggs in just one basket though, better to save some fiat for your daily expenses because you don't want to be force on selling your coins because you don't have any more money left in your pocket.

Why not buy both of them? It's better if you are going to divide it rather than focusing on one coin, those two coins were a good even for long term investment and you won't regret on having them both I would also consider buying some alt coins like Avax and Solana since they are good project too but if you want to make sure if it is a good moment to buy you can make your own analysis on the market.

The decision of when to buy rests on the person who is making the purchase as it would depend on a matter of factors; Someone who is buying in for the long term hodl does not bother about short term price changes and believes that in 10+ years the value is going is to much higher.
Someone who is not buying for the long term are usually more picky about when to buy and would not want to purchase when the price is on the way down. This is much more risky and would require some technical analysis and some luck as well.

Definitely, it's certained that the prices are going to multiply in 10+ years time but it's still necessary to be picky when purchasing coins though you wouldn't be as picky as one who is purchasing for a short term.
Take for instance (I love giving instances, it aids for clearer understanding), you purchase 1000 coins at 100$, and then because the other person is picky, he purchases the same number of coins at 20$, he may decided to keep them longer than planned and that would mean more benefits to him.

I don't think all coins follow Bitcoin and maybe only some coins,
buying Bitcoin or Ethereum actually depends on each person because they must have their own strategy,

Yeah definitely a good time to buy. I am going to use my next paycheck to buy more bitcoins. During the dip last year I didn't really have any free money to invest so I am glad now there are new entry levels. Almost all asset classes are affected by the bear market, it's not a problem in the crypto market. And who honestly thinks that in 1 or 2 years bitcoins are still going to be below 40,000? I don't think so. In a few months we could hate ourselves for not taking advantage of the current levels. Just don't use all your money to buy now. Best to split up the money and buy more if the prices keep dropping short term.

People had lost their investment because they chose worthless coins but if they invest BTC and ETH, even it was not the perfect time, it still guarantees assurance in the future. if you want to invest then I suggest buying BTC because the nature you are going to use is long term.
if for trading then both are also good, but I recommend buying ETH because the market is currently moving slowly and to get a profit with short-term trading can be seen immediately even though it is not too big.

A good moment to buy bitcoin is always now, on the present! There are lots of people who keep waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect dip to finally acquire their first portion of bitcoin, but that is actually a big mistake, because nobody can predict it accurately. So what happens is that these people never start investing and when they realize this fact, it's already too late, because bitcoin becomes too expensive for them to buy a nice amount of satoshis. That is why people should just invest in bitcoin, doesn't matter the currently price, while not getting anxious to see financial returns on short run.
