Precisely there are often weird accounts participating to this contest while not posting anywhere else on the forum. It could be fake accounts/contestants.
There are 10 places, I don't think people will refrain to participate because one reached 5000x. Moreover 5000x is not the "max" you can reach at livecasino, I don't know where you have seen that.

The question is, have you ever seen cheating happened in multiplier contest by PM? Duelbits has run it for so long time by PM but the one who manage the contest is able to manage it really well. I also do not understand how can you cheat in this multiplier just because of the entry is submitted by PM. I was very active in multiplier contest and I have to agree with ryzaadit, once there are some huge multipliers submitted in the contest then other participants may lose interest to try because it is not easy to get huge multiplier.

Even though I'm not a participant of Duelbits Slot multiplier contest, I agree on this idea and actually the main reason why I suggest this idea to the livecasino manager on my previous post here.It got rejected and I respect there decision about it, I think they prioritize the transparency of entries and to make the promotion visible when someone already post there entries. There recent promotion is focused on giveaways and this is there first competition that I know that they will launch in the forum. I replied shitpost with shitpost, fair enough right? My opinion is absolutely based on my own experiences not just by guessing or just by my own logic. The basic opinion from ryzaadit's suggestion is to make the contest more challenging, can attract more participants and may run longer regularly. The suggestion will also give an advantage to the casino and players at the same time so the contest may run for long time regularly. It is indeed good enough if there are less participants but it wont be good for long term purpose as the casino may stop it because there are less participants.

Sounds like a good idea indeed as this will keep the participants motivated till the last moment.
But if they will do this and start accepting entries via PMs, then, and in order to keep the contest as transparent as possible, they should publish all screenshots they received (or at least screenshots from the winners) when the contest ends and it's time to announce the winners.

Instead of banning you immediately we preferred to give you a chance to comply since your suspected behaviour was not in our Platform. That is the same reason why we decided to let you withdraw your funds, because we are a fair and transparent casino.

Yes it's true because they have to post a screenshot then they will save the multiplier this is a classic strategy that we use in a public contest
Almost all players will send entry on the last day in this way competitors will not make efforts to defeat other users  competitors can only guess
It will be different if the entry is sent via PM they don't know each other except the contest manager.
