Anyways, we already know that Canelo is not the type to be overconfident of his strengths or even underestimated his opponents. The man have his own style inside the ring before he makes his move because he surely knows that Bivol is not an easy opponent to deal with as he is the defending champion of this division while Canelo is only a guest.

But I do agree that Canelo didn't reached this position because he takes his opponent lightly. He knows that every boxer he fought has a chance to beat him so he trains hard and not underestimated his opponents. There is no animosity between the two in the face off though, unlike his previous fights in Plant and BJS wherein there is a lot of trash talk and we've seen Canelo break down this two boxers.

It could be anger or too much eagerness. I definitely agree, both have something big to lose here and accepting the fight means that they already know the capabilities. As I saw their final presscon few hours ago, I can say that there will be no mind games on their face-off or any intimidation while trying to get in each other's head and actually they are being respectful to one another, that only shows how professional these two boxers are. Whether or not this can be proven in the ring later. apart from that there is nothing wrong with Hopkins' statement because Hopkins knows the capacity of Bivol and knows the capacity of Canelo. Bivol is a champ in many boxing championships in which he'd been training in the US for a long time. he must have learned well including English. this is not the kind of boxer that hasn't faced intimidating boxers. pulling an upset might be difficult for him to achieve as he is facing Canelo. but i would be happy to get my winnings
