At this point, it's like we're against all Russians when in fact it's only Putin and his cronies who are trying to make something out of their invasion of Ukraine. Also, it's not as if gambling platforms from Russia are well known or are popular amongst gamblers here, so I don't think boycotting the select few that still exists and operates would make much difference. Not every Russian aligns their ideals with what Putin is doing, so a collective boycott on Russian services and whatnot wouldn't really do something to change the dictator's mind.

Boycotting all Russian gambling platforms is not a solution to stop this war because maybe not many gamblers will do that. Suppose the boycott is only in the gambling industry and not many industries so the possibility of war will continue. But maybe what is needed here is negotiations between the two sides to reach a mutual agreement that will benefit all parties, not just Russia and Ukraine.

Or you can send donations to Ukraine to help people affected by war. It has become the duty of every head of state to help resolve the war peacefully and not even add to the cloudiness of the atmosphere.

You cannot boycott a service or a company, if you do not know what their stance is towards a specific situation. I have friends in Russia that are completely against this WAR, but they will never admit that on a public platform. I speak with them via an encrypted media, so they are free to express their views on that platform.

Putin has shown that he will kill (poison) any opposition that goes up against him, so these people are scared. Russia also have some of the best hackers in the world, so people will not say anything on Social media that might get them into trouble.

It depends on a personal choice. However, from where I am seeing this war and getting the updates from various European colleagues of mine (including both Russian and Ukrainian), this is not a war of Russian people! This is a war of Putin himself to satisfy his sky-high ego. Otherwise, Russia is a country where open protest against government is a big no-no. If the enforcement agencies catch you, you won't return alive. Your entire properties will be ceased by the Russian government. Despite that harsh reality, I have seen hundreds of Russian people protested against the ongoing war. Many of them have been detained. So it is quite clear that Russian common people do not want war. So I don't see how boycotting a Russian gambling company will help here!

I think there needs to be some distinction between Putin and every other Russian. Yes, Russians are going to be hurt by things like the Rouble collapsing and bans on EU air travel, but the vast majority will be suffering greatly for a man they have been forced to support. Even the supporters of Putin have been brainwashed by complete media control from the Kremlin, so we should be careful about casting the net too wide. Unfortunately though, many Russians will suffer because of the horrendous actions of their "leader".
