Looks like in the free practice today/tonight depending from where we watch we got an Alpha Tauri and Pierre Gasly near the top and also George Russell in the second place,I guess this is because of the bravery of the drivers more than the car that they have.Let's see how it unfolds during qualifying and the race but I think this will be a good one,let me put the predictions in now.

During the first two practice sessions, I think that it wouldn't be unfair to say that Mercedes stormed through. After Toto Wolff made a statement like "We finally found the slow button and turned it off", these results came. And it must have been really exciting for Mercedes fans. Taking the participants into account who are picking Hamilton for the podium since the start of the season, Mercedes' returnal would fire up the competition in this season a lot more.

I saw the complete qualifying yesterday night European time and although Leclerc got the pole position I think I knew Verstappen would have got it as Redbull or better to say Max Verstappen didn't push 100% during the first to phases in Q1 and Q2 and when he wanted to give it all to get the pole he made a mistake and this screw his qualifying.

I had it to win the pole position and also have it to win the race,not going to change my prediction as I believe this track is better suited for Redbull as they had always the best top speed and the best times in the second part of the track,Ferrari was somewhat better in the first part and in the last one both were near the same.I believe if no outside events like the rain happening which is predicted at maybe 40% chance of happening or the safety car which is I believe inevitable in this track Redbull would win,but taking into consideration all the outside events I think even a team like McLaren or Mercedes can win if they make the right choices.

A really bad week for me, but was hard because the track was new.

Asides of the new track i think it was a very boring race, the safety car in the final put some emotion but in general was boring. I think we need to stop with the urban tracks with the wall allways close.

I found the winner and the fastest lap and 2 exact podium makers like Verstappen first and Sainz third but you got that 2 points from finding all the guys on the podium which gave you the win,a well deserved one.
I am starting to build confidence as in these last two races I have been third in these 2 rounds,I am starting to like it but seeing how little difference in points are between participants it is very difficult to climb places.

It was a really tight race in the last 10 laps or so. I was very excited after SC entered and I was hoping to see a much bigger competition among the drivers on the front. And I got what I wanted also. I was favouring Leclerc to win this race honestly and he could have done so. But Verstappen was so quick that Leclerc still wasn't able to beat him after even SC entered. Perez got a really serious chance against Sainz and he was nearly overtaking him too but that late brake cost him too much.

If Perez and Leclerc were able to overtake Sainz and Verstappen respectively, then I was going to collect more points in this Grand Prix. But it was a really unfortunate race for me.

And congrats, @casperBGD. You did a great job there by getting a yellow cap. Enjoy your free bet, mate.     I hope that I can get better next time. But I'm really loving this pool a lot now. Thanks again for @sportsbet.io, @jeremypwr and @CLS63 for organizing this great event!

And thanks jeremypwr for keeping track, I almost forgot CLS63 had the first two. Going to be hard enough to get two caps, but there's not many of us in this inaugural, should be "easier".

Think many drivers complained the grip on Miami wasn't up to par, which was why a lot of failed (or unattempted) overtakes.

As I said before the race, some surprises, but no shocks. Verstappen didn't take risks, and as it turned out, no one really did either.

have put my picks into schedule, but will hardly watch the race over the weekend, since I am going to buzz-off weekend, without internet and TV on Saturday and most Sunday

we are going to see which team brings the greatest improvements for this grand prix, a grand prix that has something particular and that is that it is the one used for the pre-season tests, so let's say that it is the circuit on which all the teams have more previous information and they can configure their cars better.
I still expect a significant improvement from Mercedes, as they said, if it doesn't happen here I don't think it will, but it would be very good to have 3 teams in the fight.

The F1 administration decided not to add any race to the calender in the place of the Russia GP. After this decision, the season is going to be completed by 22 races. By the way, is there anyone who has seen Aston Martin's new car? Their new car looks like Red Bull's car a lot. There have been so many memes related to this on social media. Aston Martin F1 its a complete disaster since they start in the 2021 season. I cant belive how they can be so bad , when they have a ton of money behind and they have a solid base team like racing point.

Although a lot of upgrades for Mercedes which based on today performance it seems they are working and also the Ferrari getting some improvements which gave Leclerc the first place in today FP2 I did a radical prediction of the 2 Redbull cars being 1-2 at the finish line of the race.I also put Verstappen at pole because I know when it comes to Saturday things will change a lot from Friday.

Aston Martin not delivering anything today and I doubt if they ever will do during this season,they have shown absolutely nothing so far and has been racing for places above the 10th place most of the races this season,this says a lot about them.

yeah, Aston Martin is not proving anything with their involvement with F1, James Bond can hardly be proud with their races
looking at practice in Spain, Ferrari is again on the top, Leclerc being top, and Sainz second, Max is following as third

FP2 brought Mercedes up, with Hamilton third and Russel as second, Leclerc was on the top once again

Its seem the Mercedes upgrades are working good. Also Toto Wolff said its the first time in the season they dont have so much bouncing in the straight so the upgrade was in the right direction.
Hamilton say something similar. I really like to see a three way fight for the con structor championship.

Leclerc won the qualifying session. The driver from Monaco was able to become superior to Verstappen in the qualifying session. But Max's race performance in the recent times has been at a much higher level. In Q3, Verstappen couldn't get enough power from his engine and had to pit by not being able to benefit from his last chance. It makes us question Red Bull after seeing this kind of durability problems for them.
