Yes Swogerino but i really think that is a old thinking, for me the retirement of driver its more a self imposed, you can drive so fast until your 50.
In the 50 maybe you have a significant drop in your time of reaction, but keep in mind now we hace so profesional drivers and more than drivers they are also sportsmans men really well trained, so if also in the football players are pushing the limits of the retirement (you can see how Zlatan CR7 Messi can still doing so well) and Lebron James or Ginobili in the NBA, only imagine in a sport with a much less atleticism requeriment.

There are two weeks left for the upcoming race which is in Spa, Belgium. This is one of the lovely races in the calendar in my opinion. Verstappen might be seen as the favourite driver to win this race because he is the last winner of this Grand Prix. Leclerc has had really unlucky races in the recent times as well. However I'm still having a big difficulty in making a choice between them for the win. There is still a long time to think about that of course. Leclerc must be aware that he has a slim chance for the championship from now on. But I still expect him to do his best as F1 is always full of surprises.

Time is really passing slowly. We are so accustomed to watching Formula 1 in the recent years that we really feel empty in these breaks. I hope that Mercedes have recovered more and Ferrari have handled the durability issues in this huge break.

First the pool and later prediction. Despite the odds, I think that Leclerc will win at the weekend as long as he doesn't have any accident.

Leclerc is going for @4.20x to win the race just by checking the odds.
But one can not go by the odds alone as you well know with the reds match yesterday.
But you are very confident in Ferrari red taking all races over weekend with putting him to win everythin in your predictions for the contest.
Hope your right but I am thinking of another red but the Krating Daeng to take Belgium.

Yes finally the weekend of the race is near us and I predict that this time around we are going to see a great race full of emotions.I would like to see Ferrari winning in this track as most probably they have now the fastest car allround and this track is a good allrounder track where fast speed turns make it as good as it is,in such turns I see Ferrari having the best aerodynamics so in theory they should be favorites here.We can only hope that the team directors of Ferrari don't screw up again with their unwell thought strategies which have been common in ruining Leclerc races during this season.

Bad news have come from Leclerc's side. He is starting at the back of the grid just Verstappen because both of them have changed their engines. It's not a big deal for Verstappen as he is very comfortable in the championship run. However it is bad for Leclerc because this was a big chance for him to catch up with Verstappen a little more. I don't expect them to be far away from each other at the end of this race. Maybe I'm dreaming but there is still a chance for Leclerc to win this somehow. This is F1 in the end and you never know what happens during the race. 

I still can't remember a great example for this. Hamilton was at the last position before the sprint race in Brazil last season. But he was the winner of the race despite every problem he faced. Maybe it is time for Leclerc to do a similar job.

I really dont have clue in the picks to put this weekend, i dont know, the free practice dont give to us so much information, so i put some picks thinking i changing them tomorrow after FP3, but i dont know if i can see them so maybe the selections i made now have to remain the same.

I got the EBP plus I believe Verstappen will give me a point for the Pole he scored although he will start in the back of the grid together with many other drivers like Leclerc,Norris and some others because of penalties.Last time 7 drivers will have to start from the back has been in 2019 where 8 drivers got penalties.I am leaving the predictions as I put them as I didn't knew Max would get penalty grid together with the others,I am leaving it as is,whatever points I got from tomorrow race I will be happy.

Redbull was from another planet today as both cars performed better,much better than any other car on the qualifying today.

Actually it isn't like that. I assume that you haven't noticed this information:



This means that you should take grid penalties into consideration as well before picking the driver to start in pole position.


Qualifying session was really nice. Verstappen had a great lap time in Q3 even though he wasn't going to be able to win the pole position. Sainz used this chance really good and he is starting in pole position tomorrow. This might not be a good race for Ferrari maybe as Leclerc is starting way behind. But Sainz has a good chance to win if he doesn't have big issues. Perez can finish right behind him as I picked in the pool also. Their times in qualifying weren't too far from each other. Unless Verstappen deals with some problems there is no way Leclerc is closing the gap with him significantly.

I think Verstappen and Redbull more specifically were on another planet in this race,even Perez who started yet from another nap and completely distracted at the start of the race,later put in the effort and came second.I am doing the same from like the last 8-9 races,I am consistently in second place in the pool but this week didn't saw any change in positions because many people did not expect Hamilton and the McLaren-s out of the points zone.Personally I didn't expect Vettel on the points zone during this race that is for sure considering how bad the Aston Martin is,it is thanks to his driving skills to be there and it is a shame he will leave F1 in the end of this season.

Nothing could have stopped RedBull and Max today from taking the victory and I think even if he was on the last place on the grid , he would have need only a few extra laps in order to get on 1st so yea ...RedBull did an outstanding job during the summer break and if someone had doubts about title battle , I think after this race the doubts are gone. Ferrari kinda did it again but on a lower note as RedBull was unstoppable no matter what strategy Ferrari had.

Summer break wasn't any help for Ferrari as it seems. Because they were really weak in this race against Verstappen and Perez both. They were even slower than Russell which was even more embarrassing for them. Ferrari can't be slower than Mercedes now. Maybe Leclerc had some problems with his car but Sainz also struggled too much. Now Perez has also left Leclerc behind in the driver standings. Leclerc was going to fight for the title with a fast car but he is far away from that point at the moment. Ferrari's bad calls played a big role in this during the season.

I think it is not interestingly wrong,it is just that I read the news that Redbull team members in an interview said that Verstappen will not get any penalty because when rules were changed in the middle of the season,so it was the number of gearboxes to be changed before getting a penalty so that is why Verstappen did not get a penalty for today starting grid.

I also have in as a winner of the race but I guess I have all other drivers wrong seeing the starting grid,I was confused from the possible penalty and I made choices accordingly to that.Now I need a lot of rain and a lot of safety cars deployed in order to get some points.
