Anyone got LeClerc in pole? He's on my podium but didn't expect him to pip. I went rather for gut and put in podium finishers -- surprisingly, practice results were all in the right order. Bad sign for the real thing?

Hahah nice one, mate. I will be joining the pool too. @CLS63 scoring in superbru seems alright and it's easier for the participants to check it on there.

Feels so good to see the same familiar bastards coming in for the fun. All eyes on football for me so far this weekend but I'll definitely pop in to see some bits if it gets interesting. My kid's actually much more interested in F1 than anyone I've ever known, so maybe he can tell me if my first week's picks were shite.

Welcome to the pool, Ulven! The qualifying session was really competitive. I guess nobody was expecting Mercedes to be that bad here. I thought that Ferrari might make a surprise after watching the free practice sessions. And it really happened.   PS: Congrats to Rohang and darxiaomi on their correct predictions on Leclerc for pole position. I've also predicted it correctly.

Well done to all of you.I had Sainz to win the Pole Position,I knew Ferrari would have the upper hand here but thought Sainz to be a bit faster at least this was the case in the free practice sessions or the ones that I checked.However I am not seeing updated the points in the Superbru app that I am checking,I see still everybody with 0 points.I just logged in the Superbru website and I still see 0 points for everyone.Maybe the points are updated after the race?

did not watch the practice yesterday, but hardly expected to see LeClerc on pole position
nevertheless, we will see how will he manage to hold it on the race, Max is on for the race, and Sainz as well, Hamilton can easily convert his fifth

Honestly, I'd abide by any kind of rules that the community will determine. But as there is no other idea about this topic, we can base on the scoring system on Superbru directly.

I decided to not join the pool in the end. I really love our pools but I have absolutely no interest in F1. If I joined the pool than I would start watching F1 as well and it is so mind numbing boring Also my wife would kill me since only thing I watch on TV is sports anyway and one more could be too much for our marriage

If you are open to advice from somebody who is not part of the pool and has no say in it.... Just use what Superbru offers you and make it easier for you. Never tried it for F1 but judging from the other sports they are doing the job quite well and we as pool captains can't do it better for sure. It is much easier for you that way and you don't have to think about tie breakers and what not. Just write in the rules that Superbru ranking when the season finishes is base for payouts.

Have fun guys and catch you in one of the pools for "normal people sports"

I definitely understand you about not joining the pool. Blood is thicker than water. I'm more comfortable about this kind of things as I'm single now. Thank you for all your advices too. I also find it logical to use the Superbru system not to cause any confusion. Besides, you can always share your opinion about this topic. I already got some help from your pools in the end.

The bulls moving out of the first places and a pathetic in the true meaning of the word of my beloved McLaren team makes me fall down in the very last place of the pool but I am confident I will come back.I never thought that Leclerc would have been able to win the race,he has not been consistent during his time with Ferrari and only has won 2 races in 3 or 4 years.I think no matter how good Ferrari may have looked this very first race it was the problems of Verstappen and all Redbull that made this win look so easy.I am pretty sure that in the upcoming track next weekend which is a super fast track Ferrari is going to struggle against Redbull,the straight speed of Redbull was better than Ferrari in this race.

my thoughts were similar, but decided to give it a try, since I want to get my kid to Hungaroring this season, and this is probably the best way to get interest, to even know who-is-who, since last races that I have watched involved Schumacher (but not this one that is currently competing) and Damon Hill

nevertheless, seven points, it is not big difference to leader, but seems that points will be pretty equal here, and one-two bonus points could make all the difference

It has been a really interesting weekend. By the DNFs of both Red Bull drivers, Hamilton got the chance to finish the race on podium. But Mercedes cars don't seem to be promising for the rest of the season. The leaderboard for this week is like this. Even though it has been a difficult weekend, I'm surprised to have the yellow cap by only 11 points. Maybe these not much high points can be an advantage for the people who want to join the pool next week.

Really good race fight between Leclerc and Verstappen, this show how competitive its this Ferrari 2022 car.

Mercedes its more close that expected, i know all of us expect the last years of Mercedes like 1 second ahead and alone making 1/2

I put Leclerc in the Pole and for Win, but i dont make a bet.

It is because I didn't lock the picks before qualifying started that I am also one to not get the EBP bonus points from Superbru?Now I feel a bit better that I just have 5 points,otherwise I would have 7 which is not that bad of a result.I am again not planning any locking of my picks after only seeing the test in Saudi Arabia as that is a completely different track and most probably Redbull will be the winners there because they had the fastest engine in the straights and that track looks a lot fitted for them,to early to say though.

I have checked the topic, it is good for me to learn some things about this game regarding cars and drivers. The first run was good with a google search I found some info that put me in fourth place with 9 points. I made my selections for the Jeddah course and I don't know if I will make points or not

You will have both Ferraris in most tracks at the podium if other teams do not improve and improving with the new regulations is not as easy as it seem as you have to change a lot of things and try a lot of different setups.For the moment the Ferraris look ahead of the competition with Redbull being there having the top speed for the moment somewhat more than Ferrari but we saw this wasn't enough in Bahrain,maybe this will change in Saudi Arabia.

I think this years its a three way race to the constructor championship.

In cars now i think we have

1. Ferrari
2. Red Bull
3. Mercedes

I think in mid season we can have Mercedes close to the first spot in car.

But the main thing here for the constructor championship its the pilots, so for me the fight its gonna be between Mercedes and Ferrari. Checo Perez its a good pilot but not so good to fight for the championship.
