The clarity of winning and losing creates a clarity of analysis about who is doing well and who isn’t.

If you apply that simple model to Biden, you realize how well he is doing by his own definition of success.

We dislike Biden so much, we pettily focus on his speaking difficulties, sometimes strange behavior, clear lapses of memory, and other personal flaws. Our aversion to him and his policies makes us underestimate him and the Democrats.

But remember: Presidents Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan both preferred to be underestimated. Both wanted people to think of them as pleasant – but not dangerous. They found being underestimated was a major asset. While people laughed at them, they were busy achieving their goals and getting their programs implemented.

Biden has achieved something similar.

Of course, it's not all Biden's fault. But if he could have done it alone, he would have.

Mostly it's the peoples' fault for not reining in the banking system long ago. The banking system loans new money into existence, and when it is spent, that's where the inflation comes from.

Peter Schiff doesn't seem to talk about this clearly. So, is he ignorant? Or is he part of the banking Ponzi.

He said that's part of the "broad story about the economy we're building that works for everyone." Peter Schiff has a different take on the economy. He recently appeared on The Megyn Kelly Show to talk about it.

Peter pointed out that if Donald Trump were still president, Biden would be criticizing the state of the economy. And he said he thinks the economy is in "horrible shape."

"I think that's one of the reasons President Biden is so unpopular. Because I think a lot of the people who are struggling in this economy, in part, blame the president. He's not solely responsible, but he certainly hasn't done anything to help. Everything he's done has actually taken a bad situation and made it worse."

Americans are clearly struggling. Peter noted the plunging savings rate and skyrocketing credit card debt.

"Americans have blown through all their stimulus money, and now they're pretty much broke. If you look at credit card debt, it's at an all-time record high. So, Americans are struglling to put food on the table and to pay the electric bill."

I like your short posts. They make it easier to show the simple truth... which seems to be just the opposite of your article from the WSJ, no less.

Average people need more articles like yours from the WSJ. But can they really be hypnotized into seeing how Biden's policies have helped the country? All they have to do is go to the grocery store to see why their tummies have to keep on grumbling for a while longer... because of all the inflation money that Biden has pumped into Ukraine, and is starting to flow back home.

Notice, I said 'starting'. Think of how bad it will get when this money becomes a steady flow.


Dow closes out its worst day in three months, falls more than 700 points as recession fears grow

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 764.13 points, or 2.25%, to 33,202.22 — in its worst day since September as hopes for a year-end rally diminished. The S&P 500 dropped 2.49% to 3,895.75, bringing its decline for December to about 4.5%. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 3.23% to 10,810.53 as the battered tech-heavy index stretched its 2022 losses to nearly 31%.

The sell-off was broad-based with only 14 stocks in the S&P 500 trading in positive territory. Mega-cap tech stocks declined, with shares of Apple and Alphabet down more than 4%, while Amazon and Microsoft were lower by more than 3%. Shares of Netflix fell 8.6% following a Digiday report that said the streaming firm is offering to return money to advertisers after missing viewership targets.

The disappointing retail sales report suggested inflation is taking a toll on consumers. Retail sales fell 0.6% in November, according to the Commerce Department. That was a bigger loss than the Dow Jones estimate of a 0.3% decline.

The selling began Wednesday in the wake of the Fed's latest boost in its overnight borrowing rate. The central bank also said it will continue hiking rates through 2023 and projected its fed funds rate to peak at a higher-than-expected 5.1%. With Wednesday's half a percentage point hike, the targeted range for rates is currently 4.25% to 4.5%, the highest in 15 years.

"The equity market's reaction is now factoring in a recession, and rejecting the possibility of the 'soft/softish' landing mentioned recently by Powell at the [Brookings Institution]," Quincy Krosby, chief global strategist at LPL Financial, wrote Thursday.

For his part, when he ran in 2008, Obama must have figured that since the major media were failing to seriously examine his background, they would be prepared to overlook or at least minimize Joe Biden's history of plagiarism. It was a good bet. Charges of plagiarism drove Biden from the presidential race in 1988. But they didn't become a factor in 2008, when Obama picked Biden as his vice-president, or 2020, when Biden ran as president.

Everybody knows that Biden, like Santos, had a tendency to exaggerate or embellish but Biden's career flourished since those incidents. It's because he served the interests of the elites devoted to what Biden in a Wall Street Journal called the "New World Order."

Now, apparently, Biden can be discarded. I suspect Obama is pulling the strings behind the scene.  After all, to repeat, "Obama-Biden documents" are being discovered.

Never mind that Trump, as president, had unrestrained authority to declassify any documents he wanted at any time during his presidency — and he said following the raid he had done so regarding the documents he had in his possession before having his reelection stolen from him.

Suddenly, after similarly classified documents were found at a private office Joe Biden used in Washington, D.C., and at his Wilmington, Del., home, most of the same left-wing voices who claimed Trump had destroyed the country are silent over Biden’s abuse. “DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President. DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years,” the president’s White House counsel said.

The search was conducted over a 12-hour period on Friday with the approval of the president’s attorneys, CNN reported:
