They need to know why they are doing it in the first place rather than being here thinking about all the possible things they could earn. "why" you are here is essential because it could affect your decision to move forward and stay here. You might become impatient if you are unable to get what you want.

Patience is indeed a virtue, this are some of the traits to success,they are either learnt, embedded in oneself or learn from experience.

Patience  is a virtue we don't need to hurry cause when our time has come we will be successful. In this forum we can learn many things, we can learn through the experience of others. All we need to know is in here about bitcoin and other related cryptocurrency are free here and we must be thankful that we are here in this community because not like other who want to know crypto but they are not familiar of this forum.

I  observed lots if comments about how newbies might not be genuinely interested in the aim of this forum rather just here for bounties making them not being able to increase their ranks.
While I’m not disputing the fact that this might be true in some instances,  I believe there might be other reasons as well

It could be because they do not just want to post just because others are posting.
It could be that they still genuinely want to understand and work with the aim of the forum
It could be that they might have some other things taking their time as well..
It could also be that they’re developing some articles  that might be really worth posting..

I shouldn't be blamed. Here is the only crypto forum where information is given free of charge. Where one is ready to help another in any situation.
I don't know the spirit that was used to lay the foundation of this forum. I can guess it is the spirit of brotherhood.

I totally agree with you, over sometime now I have been doing a little research on my own and I tried using YouTube but I later found out that most of the YouTubers don't really care about the viewers as long as they get their views and subscribers, and sometimes leading the viewers into the Den of scammers (though, they're still some that want the betterment of their viewers).

In this crypto space, patience is a virtue. In real life, patience is also a virtue. So, it beats me hollow when people who aren't patient claim they're into cryptos. It's the same thing we see in the forum when people are in a haste to rise through the ranks without putting in the time. In the past, ranking up was automatic. It was effortless for anyone who could post just anything, even gibberish, to rise. This day, the merit system has made that divide between those who put in the work and those who don't. Though I'm still of the opinion that meriting a post is subjective as we get to find nice unmerited posts and quality users lacking merit to rank up. These users shouldn't give up. Verily, benevolence will find them one day.

Lolx... Always happen to newbies and it happened to me aswell. When you make post and expecting praise and you are faced with criticism and lots more. But that didn't discourage me, it made me to prepare myself well before doing another post.
Think about it, if you drop an opinion and millions of people here all agrees with your opinion, I guess you can figure out how boring here will be.
When I realized this, I began to acknowledge the people that criticises me.

Perhaps, you can hardly share any new thing here that has not been heard before, just find a way to share your ideas in a unique way.

While merit is not regulated, it is also not easily earned especially among newbies. That's the number one reason why it is hard to rank up. But what is mainly the purpose of a newbie in joining the forum? It is seldom the case that a newbie pops out and shares a lot of knowledge on Bitcoin and related topics. Rather, most often, newbies are here to learn. So it's not a big deal if a newbie's contribution is not an expert's opinion. Therefore, it is also not a big deal if ranking up is slow. As a matter of fact, for as long as a newbie is after knowledge, rank may not be that big of a deal either.

Often times here, some new forum users have been unable to develop consistency in their contributions here mainly as a result of frustration. They abandon their accounts here before they can get their footing and become an important contributor to various discussions, how sad ...and how we other forum users have missed out on another maybe perhaps golden perspective.

This is a wake up call to newbies especially, and all those who are considering quitting forum.

-Your opinions are valid and we want you to stay. Big things always start small, don't get discouraged because there seems to be no attention on your post and no merits given regardless of your activity.

-Even if your contribution get deleted and you get criticism for your point of view, don't get discouraged, work on yourself to be better, but still remain yourself.

It is okay to take some time off, but please do not cut us off from your perhaps golden contribution.

We're all not exempted (even the high ranks) for having our posts getting deleted by the moderator for a certain reason. I've been there. There are still some of my posts that are deleted by the moderator, and I respect that. The important thing is that we do not give up and quit. And of course, change your mindset that you are here not because of the rank up and merit, but to contribute and become a valuable community member.

No doubt, it's highly possible they left because they felt ranking up was an uphill task. However, they ought to persevere and in the awareness that nothing good comes that easy. I'm sure they will feel worse when a few months or years later they return to find users they knew were on the same rank with them have ranked up, way above them. It's like a man getting sapped of his ego. They lose ranking up as well as the knowledge they would've gained during the period.

It is easier said than done when it comes to staying consistent without the thought of giving up. Apart from the ranking and bounty sharing, I have come to realise that creating informative content in this format is actually quite helpful and needed. Having to absorb varying opinions on a certain subject matter with vast or medium knowledge from elites of  certain callibre is really impactful. Creating contents that require concentration in order not to speak out of context may be stressful, but if one somehow finds themself here, it is paramount to make your contribution, absorb what you can and most importantly remember why you started in the first place. I too am not exempted.

At the end of OP, I felt like it was some motivational seminar and it isn't out of place as the post is meant to encourage you @Beginners and to fuel your tank to push further and measure up with ranked users in the forum.

Yeah, ranks are desirable and it stands a means to classify or set aside those that have been here the most or possibly have more knowledge in cryptos than others. Although, the later have been proven wrong just recently, where a low rank unqualified user as per rank as a qualifier was accepted into a prestigious campaign that accepted higher ranks only.

Why? It goes beyond ranks. It goes the length to say, the rank is just for the forum but the knowledge is for you and most desirable. So quiting on a chance to learn and be better because you feel under appreciated, your being criticised on your best comments and your comments gets little or no attention isn't the best of practice for someone seeking improvement.

You ought to understand the message that is past in every comment or energy posed towards you by users of the forum. The entire forum can't be wrong with just you being right. It's a global forum and as such, you adjust or prove in ways that or undeniably right that, it is or should be as you have postulated.

Give learning a chance and know that what ever you do, you do it to yourself most of all before any other person. Even life on the forum is a personal race. A lot have gone, either willingly or as a means of an error and others have been forcefully sent off. Give yourself the chance you need!

I may not really go inline with the word frustration because one of major aim of the forum here is not for it to inflict it's member with frustration but i think the word "challenges" could be more suitable, and why many finds the forum challenging is because they never get acquainted to how its expected of them to go about on the forum, quite alright the forum's rules and regulations are there for guide but i think more assistance could be required in putting the newbies and they also have to develop a confidence towards what they can deliver to the community.

I also understand that it's not every newbie that join the forum come to make a stay but rather get a solution to their problems or challenges and go, while those with the intent to stay might have already got one or two things that keep them busy off the forum thereby only visiting the forum on occasional basis, then the last aspect of newbies category are those that have fully come to stay, while those in this regard need to take time to learn and observe how things are being done on the forum because here stand to be a reputable platform that provides informations and solutions to the entire world of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

This deserves appreciation, and I will say thank you for the motivation. As a beginner, it might not be easy getting along in the forum at first but it get easier with time, this was my experience, there were truly times when you make a post that you genuinely gave efforts into and then you would see low turn up towards the post, things like this and many others could easily make one have cold heart towards the forum. One thing I've learnt is to keep doing one's best, you might not get merited or given attention now, but–if truly you are doing your best–you will be merited one day, your post would definitely be recognised, your efforts will pay off.
