cryptocurrencies in general just gonna become an investment instrument and fiat gonna be existing for another centuries.
the current circumstance so far is that so many countries allows the existence of cryptocurrencies because it was considered as commodity and also being called as just an investment instrument not a currency.
also the ones altcoins that gonna survive are the ones that keeps innovating further and further, major altcoins are doing this like ETH with their upgrades, etc. In the future the ones that gonna survive are the altcoins that have real use case.

At least to me it seems better to concentrate on the top coins in the market with a strong emphasis in bitcoin than to try to trade new coins, the risks are simply too big for us to ignore, after all when it comes to those coins it is not only difficult to invest in them but to trade them too because their volume is so low that any whale can try to manipulate its price and they will be successful in their attempts and they will make it to go up or down at will, making impossible to apply TA and most likely such a movement in the market will make you lose money.

This time the trend is around the play to earn token from doing daily activity like walking or running. in my opinion if this is the best idea that can always be implemented into the daily live. this kind of token has more usefulness for our daily life rather than the passive tokens that have no benefit for our life. Crypto can't beat fiat money no matter how much it grows because fiat money is government controlled and crypto is not.
The coin/token that you can choose to survive are the best one and the top coins listed in the market, go for Bitcoin, ETH and BNB I'm pretty confident that even on a bear market they can still rise and they prove that already. I'm into good coins with regards to long term holding, that's the only option for me.

It doesn't have to change the ethics and culture, knowledge and education. The people of a country needs to know. You don't have to remove from them the things they are already doing. Insert in them the ideas without damaging the culture, they lived for how many centuries following what their forefathers did, so it won't be advisable to revolutionize that in a single decade.

We are still living under a society governed and controlled by the government, so stop thinking that crypto will defeat or replace traditional fiat.

I find this really unnecessary, it would be better if both coexist and support each other. I still find it better to use fiat on a daily basis than using crypto, crypto is really convenient but now it is more suitable as an investment than using it for payments.

We don't look at and consider Bitcoin as competing fiat nor is it able to defeat it. It was not it meant and the creation of these cryptocurrencies is not all about beating fiat but just an alternative currency. I was sad that many were still not educated about how this Bitcoin and altcoins. It serves to have a purpose and role in the market but not the way it stops fiat.

In the future, we are able to see huge adoption of digital currencies but the use of fiat still remains. I wasn't think this stuff it sinks as people valued this even more than Bitcoin.

I also don't think that we will have a world without FIAT currencies anymore where everything is done with cryptocurrencies within the next 100 years or so, i just can not see that happen. I think those two types of currencies will still coexist for a very long time and i also don't think that this is a bad thing. To have some cash in your wallet in the form of coins or banknotes also feels pretty good because you have something physical to touch and the value is not just digital.
Regarding what kind of crypto token or coin will survive i think it is obvious that only the ones with a real use case and functionality will survive and will still be there in a few years. So i would stay away from meme-coins.

Since fiat is the main medium of payment in all countries and it's regulated by their own law so it's impossible to replace cryptocurrency to become their main currency right now. Right now many altcoins just surviving from their competitor and their competitor itself from another crypto project so you won't wonder when a project has tons of utilities. It is not the objective of the cryptocurrency namely bitcoin to "defeat" fiat because to "defeat" something you need a battle, and there is no battle here. Only coexistance of both modes of transaction such that the pros and cons of one are supplemented and corrective by the other, respectively.

There is in reality very little competition going on. The top position is take by Bitcoin due to its highest price among all and the small fries are being competed on by shitcoins that have no value but still hunted for sudden profits. These coins will never be big.

What most coins lack is an intrinsic market making capability and a method to spend their coins to get some service, only then a market demand will begin and prices will increase of that shitcoin enough to name it an altcoin.

It can't replace fiat for now and it doesn't have to. I think it's necessary and one day it will replace it. The economic system we have and fiat money are bad and have so many bad stuff around them. Inflation at yearly rate since 1900 is like 6% on average yearly. So imagine what is the same amount of money worth then and now. We need other system and crypto is the way to go in near future. In like 10-20years we will have the fiat dying off.

We do not need nations to become like El Salvador and just take it to top, we just need them to relax the regulations and laws enough that the crypto world would flourish there and that would be enough. What we need to remember is that it is hard for companies to accept bitcoin because it is volatile and their vendors do not accept volatility and waiting, they need to pay.

Like you may expect amazon to accept bitcoin one day, but if they spend 100 million on merchandise and products to sell to you, and then they sell it for 120 million dollars worth of bitcoins, then the price of bitcoin goes down 50% that would mean they just sold it for 60 million, they could wait, but then they need to reorder which means they need to sell that and buy again for a loss.
