Making the world a better place starts with you

It is said that if you are pointing finger towards anyone your remaining four fingers are pointed towards you ,that means if you want to correct the world and if you see flaws in anyone first of all start correcting yourself and do your part.
Mentioning someone flaws and mistakes is very easy and is convenient too but when things are said about you that's unbearable.  
So first start with you and work on yourself and do your part to make this world a better place.

What we do and what we fail to do has a great effect on our community and the world at large. Lets start from the family, if a parent fail to raise a responsible child, that child might become a criminal. That child would become a terror to the community and this can give the country a bad image. During festive periods, youth in my region like burning tires on roads and with time these roads would start having holes due to the effect of the fire. These bad roads would definitely lead to accident and traffic jams. During rainy session, people in my area like disposing refuses in the city drainage because they don't want to pay for disposal services. This waste always block our drainage which has contributed a lot to the high risk flooding our city experienced this year.

People always blame the government for societal problems, but they fail to understand that their perceived insignificant actions leads to highly significant consequences.

We humans don't want to take responsibility of anything, and we don't want to play our part for our society and community. We just want to blame our government, our leaders for everything  like we have proper garbage disposal system still people throw their wastes wherever they want and than blame government and municipal authorities for not working.  You are sent in this world for a purpose and you have a role everywhere you go in home your role may be is a parent or child ,in society your role is to behave like a good and mature citizen .

What do we mean we when talk about making the world a better place? It entails safety as deep as good air, better climate, good food etc. how do we work to ensure we get to this better place? how does my little effort help with these giant issues of global warming, climate change even environmental pollution that is affecting us. how can we be able to overt the dangers these issues can cause when it is obvious that they are at a scale that is bigger than us.

Thats true alot if things are discussed here but we don't know how much implementation is done in real life world and how much we are putting our efforts in saving our world from pollution, deforestation and many other issues.

Indeed the world to be a better place starts from us, because if the next generation to come renew their minds and have a glance of the future,all sorts of negative influence Will be cut off today.
Few years ago when I was an undergraduate in the university of calabar,my mentor once told me that  this university is a large community were the future leaders in all aspects are found,so if we can change this people from their way of thinking and doing things,then we can change the WORLD 🌍.
There after I went into deep meditation and I had  a true meaning of what he was talking about.
On campus there are cultist,robbers,those that do prostitution etc.So if all these categories are taught the negative implications of there life here on campus in the future to come and also  moulding their minds and Heart to change it will help for the WORLD to be better.
NOTE:
The future governor, senator,CEO, business men and women, Doctors etc are on campus,so if all this cultist, prostitution etc end from the campus and our community,we would not see prostitute,am robbers, kidnappers, fake doctors etc again,and the world will indeed be a better place tomorrow.

This world is a very mean and nasty place but worth living. I heard this quote from the fim Seven. At that time I was not old enough to understand this but decades later, I truly know its meaning. It's no arguement that the whole world is not as beautiful as fictions describe and actually it is very mean and nasty. People are living so hard in order to simply survive. Although there are many super rich people all over the world, the most of us are living a minor and difficult life. If each of us takes responsibility to look out ourselves and our family, the world would be much better. Don't assume that some super heros will come and save the world, the only heros are us, like you and me. It's only through the very subtle work we do every day that we can make the world a better place tomorrow. Come on.

Remember, to bring any change in society; firstly, we would have to change ourselves in the first instance.

The problem in this world right now is that if you are good, people will take advantage of you, and some good people tend to turn bad because of society; they will adopt what they see. But still, there are a few people right now who are trying to change the world: those advocacy groups that are helping people and the environment, and also those single people who show love to help other people, hoping that they can influence everyone to be good and be helpful to others.

. Yes, it is our collective responsibility to improve the quality of life for everyone. We must speak out against anyone or anything that could cause conflict and confusion in the families and communities we belong to. Before the rest of the world, we should settle this in the family first.

The family is crucial because they create the framework around which the rest of the world is built. If there are family issues, there will be no world peace.
