And that's what I said many believe for something like this especially on a country which is so rich on many traditions. So don't get surprised for people to believe on something what we see weird to us since for sure all of this has relation with their own beliefs. If we look at it deeply for there's totally no relation to anything because we know most of the games in casino is base on RNG so all of it is just pure luck nothing else nothing more.

Gamblers used to have superstitious beliefs. In a short they'll understand, it isn't powerful anymore. Some used to wear specific colour dress and used to play from specific locations and so on. I've tried to play from specific locations and in two particular places I've lost big. I've tried playing from those locations later and experienced the same. However these are just the mind that accepts the loss in some way and there is nothing connective to it.

Yep, I also don't believe it. Mantra has nothing to do with the winning or losing in gambling. The luck isn't because of that mantra, it is a gift given by the god. I prefer to pray once I hope for luck, but it is not for gambling. 

Sure, the percentage for winning or losing in each bet should always be 50:50. It may be a bit different once we choose skills-based games. But at the end of the day, the skills also don't guarantee winning, the luck also has a role in each gambling game.

Maybe that is the case in local gambling areas where such things are still used because some local people still believe in it.
We can't blame those who still use things like that because it's become their habit of playing gambling.
Maybe we can just let them stick with those ways and as long as it doesn't bother us, it's fine.

I dont know which religion you follow. But sacred items must be kept for good actions not for gambling or betting. I don't think gambling is allowed in any religion as every religion in the world teaches good things. Moreover, gambling is all about luck, there is no fundamental involved there.

I dont know which religion you follow. But sacred items must be kept for good actions not for gambling or betting. I don't think gambling is allowed in any religion as every religion in the world teaches good things. Moreover, gambling is all about luck, there is no fundamental involved there.

Gambling isnt prohibited in all religions that we do have in the world today.Some do allow it but of course it would be having some sort of warning or precautions on dealing on it much.
but there are religion which do really prohibits or ban or treat it as a sin.So it does vary on each person but in overall i dont see for religion to be that relevant nor effective
because any chants or prayer for you to believe that increase winning chance or making profits then its totally bullshit i would say.

People hold lots of superstitions so it is natural those superstitions also include gambling as well, for example besides mantras people repeat to themselves over and over again before they make a bet, something which is even more common is for people to have some kind of lucky charm they believe brings them luck, it can be something as simply as a shirt or hat they believe brings them luck and they wear it every single time they go to the casino, so as you may guess whenever they have some good luck they attribute their luck to that piece of clothing, instead of thinking that since they wear it all the time then sooner or later they were bound to get lucky anyway.

Yes there are religions which have no clear cut instructions on prohibition of gambling like Christianity doesn't prohibits gambling but advices to stay away from love of money. If you are doing gambling then better do it on your own, payers or other such stuff won't help you anymore in gambling.
