I personally find this as the right time to make investment on altcoins, when we find the price of bitcoin to be big. There are more potential altcoins in the market. To find the right altcoin is a hard task. This is something like a luck, because everyone won't be picking the right altcoin that multiplies and gives better profit against that of the profit from bitcoin. whenever the market turns red it is an opportunity unlike the choice of Bitcoins/altcoins.

Usually when a bear market occurs is a good opportunity to buy alt but how far the market will fall, where will be the best bottom to buy, no one can predict. It is difficult to determine exactly when to invest, it depends on how each person sees the market.

I also bought some bitcoins and some top alt but the market can still keep falling so I will buy multiple times instead of one time buy. Most altcoins have lost more than 80% 90% of their value with their  ATH so choosing which coins can actually recover is not easy as we know a drag bear market long will be flooded with altcoins that will never come back.

take a look at Coinmarketcap now! many altcoins have decreased, because Bitcoin has broken support at $28k and touched $27k earlier,
it is currently experiencing a bounce, but we have to be careful because the sentiment is still very bearish,

The crypto market is a place of uncertainty. Here no one can predict when the market will be good or bad. However, it can be estimated by looking at the market condition. Many crypto experts say that the market will not change much in the next 2-3 years. We also know that it is place of uncertainty at any time it could turn into a bull run again. So I think it's better to buy some alts with lower price and hold it for long-term investment.

We will never know if Crypto prices will return to 2018 prices because that year the market experienced a bear market and currently almost all altcoins are experiencing price declines along with the decline in Bitcoin prices which are currently back at $27k so don't miss this opportunity. to start adding to your existing portfolio at current prices.
I am still optimistic that in 2022 the price in Crypto will continue to increase even though The global crypto market cap is $1.12T, a 2.26% decrease but the dominance of BTC is increasing.

We are in 2022, the market would likely be bullish by 2024, but also in 2025, so we can say it should not take more than 2 years again as we even about to finish the first half of this year's in less than 3 weeks time. This bear market would end by this year if my guess is correct, but there would still be some mild bears and bulls market until massive bull market would come.

Maybe you can wait little bit depending on the said currency you want to buy, please i won't advise you to buy shitcoin at the main time due to survival. Many shitcoin can't barely do well during dip otherwise you buy and hold BTC and wait for the next move.

Short term because of the implications via the period we have already gone through. Meaning, if it was the first drop, if we went from 68k to under 30k in the last week, then it would have been long term. But, the last time we were 68k was October, and we are in June right now, meaning it has been 8 months or so since we have hit the ATH prices, and we have been dropping ever since as well, we haven't seen a 50% or bigger increase ever since October as well, let alone seeing ATH back again.

It means, if we reach to 35k or more, that would be a great return to a high price again for all of us and that is going to be quite a challenge but we haven't been there for a while, so it must be close.

interesting to discuss, do you know which alt will bring big profits in the next 1-2 years?  I think nothing is certain even if you are a reliable trader though.  everything is speculation what's more there's a lot of junk alt.  the market downturn is still ongoing and not yet over.  so in my opinion, do some research for some potentially profitable alts within the timeframe you are targeting, pay attention to the market, wait when it's time to buy
