This would be an interesting fight. Andrew was a half-decent kickboxer and is pretty hot right now so it would sell tickets. Obviously not being able to use his feet the advantage would be towards Jake, especially with him being a lot younger. I'd watch it, but I'm still hoping for the Tommy fight.

Jake Paul would spark KSI out easy and I think both Jake and KSI know it. KSI v Logan Paul was a very close fight even though KSI technically won and Jake is a much better fighter. KSI will probably have a lot of excuses why he won't take this fight, but I'd be surprised if he accepts Jake as essentially a step in. It would sell much more if they built and hyped this fight up rather than Jake being just a replacement fighter. I'd watch it and I think Jake wins this easy so it will only add to Jakes hype.

The YouTube rivals have a long-running rivalry which dates back to KSI's two fights with Paul's elder brother Logan. The pair have traded insults for three years without agreeing to fight but now appear close to an agreement.

KSI had tweeted earlier on Monday: "I'm going to send you a contract. We fight next year. Wembley Stadium. Winner of the fight takes all. 100 per cent of the purse will be on the line. Put your money where your mouth is and let’s finally end this. Will you accept Jake Paul?"

Paul later replied: "Good morning guy 'fighting' rapper with t-shirt on. Your hometown and winner takes all. 1000 per cent I accept, but one condition… you have to reply and admit that as of TODAY when it comes to boxing, I am better." I'm not sure if KSI will keep his end of the bargain though. Jake has a lot of options either way: Tommy Fury, KSI, Cobra Tate and probably Nate Diaz. Paul and business partner Joey Levy have raised $50 million to launch a new media and micro-betting company called Betr, with plans to develop sports media properties and eventually build out a sports betting business built around the so-called micro-bets (instead of betting on the outcome of a game, think betting on the outcome of the next pitch, or the next play).

They both agree to it.  Seems pretty official to me.  It's literally straight from the horses mouth.  Given that the last two of Jake's "official" fights were cancelled, I think this is as official as it gets until they step into the ring.

I find it a little hard to believe he'd turn down $40 million dollars to promote anything, but if he did, good for him.  It sounds like he's got bigger plans of making a whole lot more than that, which I wish him luck.  If he turned down $40 million from Stake though, he's just plain dumb unless it came with some sort of no-compete clause.

He would simply not benefit from it other than the share of the purse he would be guaranteed.

He has dedicated the last few years to building a reputation in the sport, and while he might have cherry picked his opponents who doesn't when they're just starting out. Hell, I think big names like Joshua, and Fury cherry picked their opponents quite late into their careers. It's only now they're at the top level, they aren't so much. Although, Fury generally went for the more tougher opponents than AJ.

Are you new to boxing? Agreeing to something on twitter is not a done deal nor is it legally blinding. I don't think KSI agreed to it either, just proposed it not expecting Jake to agree to it. Do you know how many fighters have agreed to fight publicly then one of them backs out or doesn't go though with it? Happens every month. Fights fall through even after both parties have everything agreed but just need to put pen to paper and sign off on it. Eddie Hearn says he's lost count of how many fights have fallen through because the fighters couldn't agree on something as simple as who gets to walk out first or who's name takes first billing. Two fighters saying they fight will on Twitter is just the first of many steps, and that's assuming KSI wasn't just chatting shit in the first place and just trying to get attention for his upcoming fight which is probably going to bomb seeing as he's fighting a nobody now and it's on PPV as well. Can't see many people paying for that.

I'm sure he's exaggerating the amount but it may have worked out to that over the contract time if a genuine offer. I believe Drake is getting millions a month from Stake so Jake would probably get a similar deal, but if Jake is starting his own company then why just take money from another company when you can make that and more with your own company? He has his own boxing promotions company and will get free advertising on all his and his fighters cards so it's a no brainer really. Why promote a brand when you can become the brand. He could easily become bigger than Stake the way he's going.

The more wins Jake gets under his belt the more his stuck rises so he's going to be desperate to keep that winning streak for the big boys that will come sniffing around soon enough.

From what I can gather, KSI hasn't been massively in shape the past few months, and only recently started to get toned up. I know that doesn't always mean a lot, since you have fight camps for a reason, but you'd expect him to look a bit better than he did if he was training constantly. Also, fights are different to sparring as I think anyone involved in the fighting business would agree too. He hasn't had proper fights, and rules, and regulations means he can't be going full on in the gym in sparring, unless the gym is absolutely terrible, and don't care for their fighters. However, I believe he has been training with Vidals dad, right?

I have no doubt in my mind Jake would take this fight. KSI said Jake was avoiding him at the start of KSI's career, which might have been true, but I think the shoe is most certainly on the other foot now. Jake wins by KO, and I'm more of a fan than KSI than Jake.

The only way I see KSI fighting Jake is if KSI has improved massively since the Logan fight, which of course is possible but with only one fight under his belt we have no idea. Jake has come a long way in a short period of time so there's no reason why KSI couldn't either. I think taking on Jake Paul might be a bit of a leap for him though. I'm sure Jake would happily take this fight though because he like knows or at least thinks it's an easy fight for him. I would back a Jake KO too. I'd be surprised if KSI takes this fight, and especially if it was a winner takes all as he initially proposed. I'm sure he will have some excuses as to why it falls through and was just hot air. Personally, I'm hoping Jake just gets the Tommy Fury fight sorted. I'm sure it would be easy to do in the UK. No excuses for Tommy then and Jake gets the kudos of fighting a "real" boxer. It's a fight he can win too but not one that would be easy for hhim either but he needs a challenge.
