The main point here is faith and belief in the vision of the creator, if you partake in those, do invest in it at the lowest possible price. It does not mean that the project will give you a profit but your support might be what the creators need. But again do assess the fact that 99% of shitcoins are scams or failures from the start and the creators only hype it to gather the money and bail.

My honest opinion is that the altcoin market is a bigger Wild West than bitcoin is. Almost every coin you find here seems like a shitcoin which is designed by a bunch of 10-year olds and hence does not impart any mature economic visions for me. Furthermore, majority of these are made with the intention of "testing the crypto waters" or plains scams. Hence I stay away from the altcoins as much as possible. I find investing that time in bitcoin has given me much easier decision making and peaceful nights.

Very difficult for inquiry bottom of altcoins because every altcoins can death anytime. You can got answer from luna project which was top altcoins but there has no value now. May you know dot much older coin even they have larger investors community so will not possible big dump near future. Even simple lower dump for altcoins market that's not get serious.

Yeah, spending at least 70% on assets like BTC and maybe some top altcoins would lower the risk of investing the leftover 30% in other altcoins. But I think since we're at the bear market right now, other altcoins aren't worth the risk. Maybe we should stay away, have that leftover ready for BTC or top altcoins when they are dipping.

We’ve seen the peak of this coin, we know their progress and their future plans, so for me its really good to buy this on a cheaper price and that $10 or below is a good price to buy. DOT is one of the best chain that you can use as of the moment, they also have a higher chance of rising again so if you buy now, for sure you wont regret that in the future. New ATH is still possible with DOT, have some now.

thats simple analisys but true, for long term majority altcoin now in strong support and good to accumulate. we just need little patience to wait market totally recover which is no longer again take time. Don't erroneously continue to wait in vain for the market to bottom out. The present crash is providing a leeway to those who missed out on their favourite cryptos to get in and I guess a few investors are happily cashing in on that. I checked the ATL of Polkadot and it was around $2+ in August 2020. It also did an ATH of $54+. Today, that price stands at a discount at $7+ today. Knowing the utility Polkadot has, I believe it will rally up again once the bear allows the bull a breathing space. You can DCA on it if you're doubtful it will dip more than miss out completely.

It is really hard to tell if we are in for another big dump or not. I personally think that the bear market is not over yet and that we will witness at least one more drop of prices and by that i mean Ethereum going down below 1000$ and BTC going down below 20000$ per coin. This would probably mean that we would see polkadot at around 6,50 $ again or even lower.
If you believe though that Polkadot is a project that will do well in the mid- and long term future then i think it will not matter that much if you buy for 7 $ or for 6 $ per DOT if you are planning to hodl until it is at 50$ plus. Of course it is always best to hit the perfect time to enter, but that is almost impossible.

Still not a good time to start buying altcoins, I am also losing my patience too because I want the best discount price as possible on projects like Polkadot, Avaax and DODO,  this can happen if BTC goes below 18,000$ even if it's just going to be for a month so all altcoins will fall as well, be patience .

Altcoin market usually follows bitcoin market, i often see that altcoin price movements are similar with bitcoin price movements.

Maybe YES or maybe NO - can really figure out what gonna happen next. But I suggest for you OP to move out from this project and look for better and more promising projects. If you have some of these coins, make sell them if you have doubt but if not, just keep them while investing other coins.

For now, it was not deniable that the altcoins are facing a higher risk when investing in them. That gonna be wise to just to focus more on the leading altcoins and Bitcoin.

The altcoin market is now declining. The green signal of the market is temporary. Because when the market was up, it did not rise from the bottom to the top at once. It took about 2 years to slowly rise to the top. So I think it will take a long time to come down from the top to the bottom. The next bullrun may be in 2024/2025. And the market will remain bearish until the next bullrun. So the altcoin market is likely to go further down.

The bear market reveals what lies under the veil. The truth about altcoins being nothing more than shitcoins in the major numbers and that bitcoin is the only coin worth putting money in becomes evident here. Of course bitcoin will also drop in price but its history clearly shows that it recovers gradually back to its prices and gives its investors good returns on every rise.

The lack of development and mismanagement of funds in majority of newly launched altcoins added to the fact that the mainstream market cannot be compared with altcoins in place of their fiat equivalents makes the entire thing a problem for merchants and hence the low adoption.

Even if bitcoin starts bull run, people should understand that the extent that altcoins might recover is small and hence gradually it is time for bigger and better things.

Turning to such this question, the same answer comes back and that is, "No one can tell you with a hundred percent certainty what the next step or future of cryptocurrency is going to be". But looking at the current situation of the market, one can only guess that the market is going to be bearish for a long time.
