Today, the neighbouring countries Germany and Austria meet. There's probably no doubt that Germany will win this game and Austria won't be able to score. Judging by the way Germany has played in previous games against strong teams, Austria has no chance today. I'm sure Germany will make it to the next round.

Germany and Austria both of teams had very strong defensive during this tournament because on the group stage Germany never to conceded goals and Austria only conceded 1 goals from England so i assume whoever the winner of this match the score will very slim but indeed without doubted Germany is the favourite and the current odds for Germany is @1.29 indeed this quite low but it is decent to try because for every statistics for both of them showed Germany is too strong for Austria

So, I managed to predict that game will go to extra time. Agree with @Rruchi man, focusing on defense didn't helped for Spain, I think that England played slightly better today. Spain struggled to create something dangerous, especially in extra time after conceding goal. Stanway's goal was amazing, though, if it would be mens football, goalkeeper most likely would have saved it.
Next 1/4 final is Germany - Austria. Honestly, it's diffiuclt to expect something unexpected there.

Have to admit didn't watch after HT but the first half was all Spain though, winning corners and freekicks, and honestly if they'd just focused on being more direct they'd have gone 2 up at least. So if they focused on defence, then they must have done that in 2nd half and extra time.

They have a skillful forward line, silkier than the English (who still can't even figure out not to be offside every time they take freekicks at goal), but both sides just lack awareness to play that kind of slick passing. Lost count the number of times, the English especially, 2 or 3 strikers move into acres of space while a third receives ball, only one glance left or right and you could easily thread through balls, but they just keep passing back.

Oh yes and with England's failure to win yesterday, my bankroll has disappeared and here ends my betting journey on Women's Euro.

Despite the fact that the favorites won now it is difficult to say that England looked stronger than Spain, especially in the first half of the game Spain completely controlled its course and it was completely logical that they took the lead at the beginning of the second half. I would say that the fact that England bounced back looked very illogical (in terms of useful actions, they remained far behind). Predicting such a result of the main time (and not just guessing it) is very unlikely.

If you look at the bookmakers, Spain is the big favourite. But the differences with the rest of the countries are not very big. France is around 3.5 in odds, and the countries below that have about 5.0 to 8.0. The countries that are even lower have in principle no chance of becoming champions. The Netherlands is the reigning European champion, but Sweden managed to play 1-1 quite easily. I also thought that Sweden had the best football player in the world or was that a Norwegian one?

For me, Germany has a lot of weight, I've seen that the soccer teams that are from strong countries show it by women, Germany may win today, in fact, a good bet would be that they win, Austria for its part, they have a motivation that is be dangerous for Germany, I would say that even if I bought both teams, I would still go for Germany.

Although in the group stage Austria did not concede many goals, Austria also did not have many goals. So in this case, Austria seems to have no hope of winning, because Austria is not good at scoring goals but maybe Austria will play more defensively. But even so I think Germany will still have the ability to score in normal time, so betting for Germany to win or maybe betting with the option Under 3 goals or below still has pretty good odds.

Did you bet all in on them? I'm always afraid to make the "sure" bets on women's competitions, as there is always a lot of volatility in the results. I also lost my bet, but not the whole deposit yet

To an extent I felt Spain would win the game and thwart England's hope as it looked as if the English were unsure of themselves. Spain's passses were precise and on point, ball possession was in their court but it seemed that they just their will to fight when it got to the extra time. I predicted the game two goals in favor of Spain, but I guess England had better plans.
 Germany Austria will be an interesting one to watch but at the end, I see the German ladies doing what they know how to do best: winning

Here I agree with you about volatility in Women's competitions because I personally faced many times terrible things which give me good lesson about this all, and now I have never been going with high amounts because we can expect many ups and downs with shocking results all time on card. Even it's first time having some stuff on women's soccer mostly I place bets on tennis matches which are never been ideal so now mostly trying to avoid them or just have some stuff for fun.

That was a very nice match yesterday between Spain and England. You saw Spain play beautiful football for a very long time, with technical elements that you usually can't find in women's football. It was of course great for the atmosphere that it was 1-1 and that extra extra time was played. England and Spain are among the strongest teams in the tournament, behind France. They can play against the Netherlands on Saturday, that shouldn't be a problem.

When I did it, Germany's victory quote was 1.35. In my opinion, it was much more profitable to put my choice than to wait for the German victory. Even now, Germany's quote for a win is 1.11 (the score is only 1-0 in their favor) - I would never bet on such a small odds (I think that Austria has a chance to win back).

As you said, it's 80 minutes and the score is still 1-0 in favor of Germany.
The match was not as usual for Germany because of the 16 kick attempts only 4 were on target, but Austria also had the same 11 kick attempts only 2 were on target because the defenses of the two teams were quite tight so it was difficult to penetrate freely into the defense area. .
Now Germany just maintain this score alone is enough for them to advance to the next round.

I expected that Germany will have easier win aginst Austria that they had. They were better team on pitch and had their chances to close game much earlier by scoring 2nd goal. Austria needed to equalise score, but they struggled to offer something dangerous.
Sweden - Belgium, another game where we have significant favorite, but I don't expect that they will win easy.

I guess the Germans wouldn't care the goal came about, they've advance to the semifinals where they'll face the winner from Netherlands vs France and that's great for them and could be their biggest test yet although they've played Spain which they one and that proves the quality of the squad, The fact that they're still yet to concede a goal after 4 games played is also worth commending. We've got another Quarter final game between Sweden and Belgium, Sweden are the favorites but they still struggle in some games so it might a close affair as opposing to what the odds suggest.

Germany's victory was a predictable victory, so it's no wonder that many may have won from this match. Because the odds are still fairly decent, the meaning is not too low because after all, as a very favorite team but still getting odds in the 1.30 range it is still a good and decent odds. Also, Germany not only won in final score only but Germany also won in all stats so yes, it's a good result. Furthermore, it doesn't matter which opponent Germany will face in the semi-finals whether it is France or Netherlands, it is a strong opponent as well.

The thing' is Germany is a good team, both their women and men team. The game was actually an interesting one to watch. Although Austria tried to put up a fight, they certainly were not match enough for the German ladies. At some point in the game, I thought Austria will come back, but Popp had to kill their hopes by netting a goal in the 90th minutes to solidify their win.

I have gone through this thread and I have seen that most persons here predicted Sweden to win against Belgium but up until now the game is goalless. Goalless games can be  uninteresting to watch especially when you are expecting to see goals from both end. The game definitely looks like it is going into extra time and it is not going to take a lot of mental strength and composure for any of these teams to become the winner.
