England is one of the countries that has invested the most in this sport, and so all that effort is now starting to pay off. I think they will continue on this good path, and be very competitive in the World Cup.

Watched the match and really didnt expect that it would be so intresting. Played some bets on this match on goals and won so pretty happy how it ended up. For me Germany was better but England had the energy of the crowd and was able to score from a corner in overtime to win the title.

I did not watch the match live because there were some mens football matches of the first round of the german national cup running and i still prefer to watch mens football over womens football because it is just way faster and more intense. That being said, the overall quality of womens football has definitely increased over the last few years.
I watched part of the match today and i have to say that England deserved to win that trophy but Germany was also pretty unlucky in my opinion. First their best player Popp could not participate in the final, then they don't get a penalty after a clear handball of England and then towards the end the english team was wasting time like crazy but the Ref did not take that into account at all.

After all, England were a bit better and to summarize everything, they were really best team in tournament. When you concede just 2 goals in whole tournament, such outcome is logical.
And England win is better for whole women football in general, than it would be Germany. Germany already won it so many times, while England win shows that women football is developping well in other countries - and England put a lot of money into it in recent years.

This was my prediction some days goal. I'm stoked. I expected the English to win. I knew it was going to be a keenly contested match. Congratulations to both teams. And Kudos to Chloe Kelly, Lauren Hemp, Walsh, Caroline  they were absolutely World Class. In 2009, Germany beat England in the finals by 2 - 6. Glad that history did not repeat itself again.

It was quite an exciting match because both teams performed very well there and they were very even in the 90 minutes but unfortunately for goals Germany lost to take advantage of the opportunity and I had to lose my bet.
