Their victory is a start of something new for women football in England. In fact, I was already hoping to see a penalty shoot-out at the end (never seen in the performance of women's teams) so England's goal upset me even though I did not bet and did not support anyone.

Germany could get ahead way early in the match but the England goalkeeper Earps made a really good double save. Both teams have played well. But after all, Germany is a better team and stronger compared to England. England did also miss some chances. But in the end that was really good through the ball which was converted to goal from England. I just wonder what could have happened if the scramble that happened earlier in the match from Germany actually ended up with the ball being at the back of the net.

I think today final was an exciting one it was really competitive the first half was for england and the second half was for germany and they both managed to win their halfs, in the end england players were more present physicaly and they managed to dominate the extra time and score the winning goal.

The finals is one match I have been looking forward to. Both teams are great. They both have the best goalkeepers in the tournament. I believe the game will go into extra time. I am expecting a lot from Alex Popp and Beth Mead. When it comes to the teams, I do not have a favorite. I am rooting for both teams and I hope to enjoy good football. Is it just me or it seems that women's soccer matches tend to end with way more goals than men ones.

More than 4 goals is pretty much unheard of in men's soccer, yes, it happens, but very rarely, whereas in women's soccer it seems to happen way more often.

More goals on women's football is pretty common. The two teams have got good records. In the last five matches played both have won every match. According to me, Germany holds the high chance of winning the final. Today came across a news in which a lion is allowed to predict the winner placing the flags of England and Germany. It went on to England. I don't believe in it, but let's see what is the result.

Upon a different way of winner prediction England was chosen by a lion. Same as what the lion chosed, the results have come. This is some form of coincidence, but this is truly surprising to see the prediction to be correct. England made its historical win, because on head to head stats Germany looked to be more stronger than England.

i was also tempted to bet a good amount on england's victory, but then i thought: " what if they draw? they play very cautiously, even when a team during the whole tournament manages to score a lot of goals when they play in the final they don't score many goals, they play more in defense and moderate in attack and the game ends with few goals and sometimes a draw.

Beth Mead is the first English player to win the Golden Boot 𝐚𝐧𝐝 be named Player of the Tournament at a senior World Cup or European Championship. She was fantastic throughout the tournament and surprised me with her game sense and goal scoring ability. Entertaining match on the whole and reminds us all that women's football is actually improving leaps and bounds as the years go by.

Congratulations to the Lionesses for winning the Euro 2022 women championship which is their first major trophy, they won this coveted trophy after a hard fought win over their arc rival Germany, the girls tried and curtailed the German team after they equalized until Chloe Kelly scored the winning goal, I also commend their head coach Sarina Wiegman who deserve accolades for helping the girls to win the trophy after several attempts in winning it proved abortive, they reached the finals thrice and lost twice and reached semifinals twice eventually won it this time around.
