I'm in, as always! Thanks Sportsbet for sponsoring our pool again and for their generous addition to prize pot. Now 1st place prize 0.1 BTC is worth over $2100, I hope hat in the end of season it will be worth at least 2x more .

If we can find a better site I'd consider changing. It's a shame you can't set your own points system as I think getting the exact score should get you 5 points. That's how it used to be on the old BBC site but they closed it. Other than that Superbru is perfectly fine for me.

I'm fine with Superbru, but I have nothing against looking for other options. Agree that exact predictions should be rewarded better. I tried to look for similar websites like Superbru, but seems there is barely any good alternatives available.

We should try get Sportsbet to build their own one and integrate it into their site. Maybe they could do a huge jackpot of 1btc or something if they can get enough people interested. Maybe one day the pool will grow to where we have a huge jackpot. Would be great it we could have a large sum for 1st place.

Superbru is not perfect but everyone can easily play there. Like this forum,,,, everyone can use. I think it is important to keep things open for all.

If we get 50+ players, the pool will be huge. And I really think that the sponsorship money will make those on the fence really interested.

With 38 50$ freebets to play for as well, this pool is one of the easiest ones to commit money to - and I do hope we will get a lot of new players this year.

Basically I'm quite happy with the sponsorship of Sportsbet.io, but after seeing that there are various free bets it makes me a little reluctant to participate. Because I can't access the site, so when I get a Yellow Cap and or other free bet bonuses, what happens is that I can't claim it and that happened in the last round as well. But yes, even so I am still interested in joining because this is an interesting tournament because I have also participated from the early rounds, will pay the entry fee maybe at the end or at the beginning of the month.

No. One is for the weekly round winner and then the other is for the person who gets the highest weekly score overall at the end of the tournament.

No. One is for the weekly round winner and then the other is for the person who gets the highest weekly score overall at the end of the tournament.

I don't think we will get 100 users this year but hopefully in future seasons we will. Would be great to see a huge pot someday. As the pool grows we might be able to get bigger sponsorships as well.

Sportsbet.io are sponsoring the pool again and have put BTC0.2 into the pot along with offering a free $50 bet to every weekly winner who scores the most points that round so that's 38 chances to win a free $50 bet. Big thanks to jeremypwr and Sportsbet for sorting that out. As usual, 100% of the money received will be split between the top ten placed users at the end of the season. The first place jackpot prize will be a guaranteed 0.1BTC and then the rest of the money will be split between 2nd-10th places. If we get 50 users signing up that will be a further 0.125 in the pot so there should be over 0.3 in total. 48 users joined last season so we should be able to get 50+ this year especially as the sponsorship pot has doubled. There will also be a small consolation prize for the person who gets the highest overall weekly round score so even if it becomes clear as the tournament progresses that you're unlikely to win a paid spot you still have a chance of winning something along with the $50 weekly round free bet.

I was participating last year and am considering doing it again this year. After all, I managed to win 2 matchdays last year, even though I wasn't able to win with the free bets something 

It's fun & participation is now not expensive and the opponents are really good at the forecasts so if i find the time i will send the fee

I'm not sure about it, maybe 75 would be a bit too many. Something  about 50 players is optimal number. With more players chances to win something is getting significantly smaller. And then it's likely that many players simply will give up and stop playing.

The nice thing about this pool is that it's not dependent on any specific number of players to be fun.  The more the merrier, of course.  Adding to the pot, and adding more positions that qualify for a prize is always nice.

75 might be too many to expect, but I wouldn't put any limit on the number of people who want to participate.  If we could get 75 players, I think that would be cool.  If that were to happen I wouldn't mind seeing the prizes awarded to the top 15 participants.  That would 20% which is pretty good odds for all of us to make the cut.

And then it's likely that many players simply will give up and stop playing.

Hey now, I resemble that remark.  I got super busy towards December/January last year and forgot to update my predictions for a couple of weeks.  I wasn't doing too good to begin with, so that was all it took for me to fall to the bottom of the table.  I had a hard time with motivation after that.  I plan to be more proactive this year, even if I don't do well enough for a prize.
