I feel gambling has lost much from its social aspect together with the digitalization of games & online casinos. I remember playing an online game called 'governor of poker' and I don't think any online game with whatever graphics might beat the atmosphere of playing a poker game in the cozy atmosphere of a saloon in a rustic town.

The historical record of gambling is around 3000 BC found in Mesopotamia while the oldest record in Egypt was the Senet or Game of the Passing and the oldest known representation of Senet is in the painting of the tomb of Hesy way back in 2686[1] the game might be earlier than that but there is no evidence found that gambling exist in Egypt earlier than 3000 BC.

is this really involving in gambling ? animals and even Daughters? in what kind of gambling was this for them to bet their love ones? I am interested in this to understand because indeed there are addictions and hard times in gambling but to use people as bet? that is not a best interest lol.

I believe most of the modern gambling games were based on the gambling games that came out of China, like card games were probably invented in Ancient China. There are other research papers that say that some of them are from Ancient Egypt, which then spread to Spain, Italy, France, then the rest of Europe.
