You need 1000 merits to become a Legendary member, you have 613 to your name now, so you need another 387 merits to get to that rank and not 162. 162 plus your current merit count will leave you at 775; that was a big miss by the way .

I think Peanutswar misunderstood this.
he thought 775-1030 was the limit of merit to rank up to Legendary. it was the minimum activity required to rank up. each member is different.

Guys, it's nice to see you guys celebrating my rank even when I didn't know that I've been rank up to hero since yesterday. Honestly it's been a lot of fun and I'm grateful that so many people have helped me during this time. I also want to thank everyone who has helped me rank up so far, I can't mention them one by one but every one of you reading this post then rest assured I am very grateful to you.

Glad to see you're so happy to celebrate rankings after so long trying to improve the quality of posts and contribute to other users. I regret that I haven't been able to achieve anything better than anyone else, but I will never feel weak even if it takes years to do so. I really don't want to overdo it to celebrate this, but I'm happy to share this joy with you. I can totally imagine that this ranking is not displayed as a king or a symbol of success but it should be proof that we have a bit of knowledge that we can share with other users. Anyone is very likely to rank up, people say it clearly and it's true I think if you all care about post quality.

My ace is only one, don't be silent if you can do it. That is my motivation to stay consistent in learning something new. Also I hope you all will rank up after me when your merit is enough. Thank you very much for all the words.

You are one of those whose rank up made me happy. Your year of registration dated back like mine and the slow pace to rank up was like mine too. But eventually you made it. Only those who make efforts will rank up, not just everybody.  Celebrate yours anyway you like, there is nothing shameful about it. Keep making meaningful posts as usual. Your contributions to the forum is noted and can not be neglected.

Everyone could feel it if they put in the effort, the Merit system never prevented anyone from ranking up if they knew how it worked.

I see you are very happy to see @indah rezqi who just managed to rank up to Hero, I hope the success of @indah rezqi can be a motivation for you to follow in his footsteps. I think you can do it, now you only need an additional 71 merit to go to Hero Member.

Start improving the quality of posts and engage in interesting discussions to achieve your goals, when you've managed to reach higher rankings, I'm pretty sure your tiredness will pay off. There is always a way for anyone who wants to try and be consistent in improving the quality of posts, do their best and achieve a new rank that can make you feel proud because you have managed to reach a higher level.

If you're not a good poster then I'm sure today you probably won't be able to merit  much from 60 different users. I think you just need to be patient and do something better than beat yourself up while celebrating the success of other users. It is important to feel confident in your own ability to achieve something, even if it takes a long time.

Your merit to the next rank is less than 100, so it shouldn't be too much when you've managed to get 85% more so far. Less than 15% you will qualify for rank up to Hero, so don't be discouraged.

Maybe you should start by first supporting yourself. I have some spare smerits but checking your post history, nothing deserves even a single merit. Your posts especially the most recent ones show as though you are just in a hurry to get merits, I don't know for what. It's not a race my friend. Take your time, read posts, make contributions.

I am very motivated by the success you have just achieved, the dream of being in a higher ranking is the dream of every user, including me.

Sometimes it is difficult for me to achieve it because I still have many shortcomings that must be addressed, after seeing your success and also other users make me more convinced that new rank are not difficult to get as long as I want to fight and try to leave the spammer habit that has been attached to me for a long time.

That's how the merit system works, when you need other users to rank up with merit distribution, then you also have the right to help others so that the merit flows to whoever you think is entitled. Every merit you share with them will really help them to get closer to the rankings, especially for anyone who needs merit to rank up.

There's no point hoarding smerit, it won't do you any good except when you distribute it to those who make good and useful posts. For you and the others, congratulations on ranking up. Your struggle is not over, there are still ranks that you must achieve up front and maintain your quality.

I'm not a fan or hoarder of sMerit, to be honest I own a few and will try to get some more good posts from anyone. I might need to do it more often instead of catching some of them who are already very close to they rank, this must be a lot more fun especially when I'm also involved in the discussion.

This thread has helped a lot and is used as a medium for Rank Up, some users have received more merit than expected to achieve higher rankings.
I didn't expect this to happen, after ranking up (those who get additional merit in this thread to rank up) should contribute more here to help other users Rank Up.

I hope they don't forget this.
