Why do people play in casinos? For the sake of adrenaline? Self-satisfaction? 

I play for self-satisfaction. I play to win. And I play for the experience. Although, I do not win all the time however, I am always satisfied my wager and if the outcome is closer to what I expected. In addition, because I love slots, I tryout new slot games just to get the experience. I recently started to read about Poker. I may play it for the experience as soon as I get confident enough.

We all gamble to win, the difference is some gambler treat this in the wrong way and continue to gamble without self-control and forgetting about the basic rule which is not to treat gambling as their main source of income. I do gamble for pleasure, for me this is a good way to relieve stress and since I'm just an occasional gambler, I treat gambling this way. I think it all starts with curiosity, filled with the ads that casinos make, showing a glamorous life with rich people who made their money betting.

Then you go to a fancy casino and everything is nice, looks great, and you put a bit of money. Maybe you even win a bit, and that's when you start thinking that you might be able to do this.

And you start betting more. And then you get some free drinks, and you bet a bit more. Free snacks. Everyone is wishing you good luck, and you think you might recover your loses.

You go to the ATM to get a bit more to get back to zero, you know you can do it. Then suddenly all is gone.

And then you either stop gambling, or continue repeating this pattern many times until you die.

I'd guess it's for self-satisfaction for me? I never really considered playing for money. Sure, I entertained the idea of me earning money if I won my bet, but never have I considered that it was a guaranteed event, more like it's just a nice addition to my self-satisfaction. I've always aimed for the win and the inclusion of money in the experience, it just adds more to the feeling that you get. I've always, and will always want to go for the win, not because of wanting money, but rather simply because I want to win.

This is true and I agree with you Cling. A lot of people find it difficult to stop gambling not because they aren't losing money but because of the fun they get whenever they are gambling not minding whether they have lost several times but because they believe in self-satisfaction. Well, it is a challenge for me to see if I can beat the house..... so far I have dumped thousands of Dollars into casinos and the casinos have come out on top. It is very entertaining to burn some time.... and to watch bets paying off with huge multipliers when I actually win something.

I will not deny that I do gamble to get some more money by risking my own money but I do also like the fun of the game.
The adrenaline and satisfaction of risking money are the other reasons why do I gamble.

I play in casinos for entertainment, it's exciting to gamble with money and having a chance to win large jackpots. Even though the chance for winning big is small it's still fun, and if we don't play our chance of winning is 0. I am part of both, but in slots, not in other types of gambling. When playing slots, starting with max-win, I want to try to get another win. Furthermore, what I faced was losses, and spending quite a lot of money. Playinmg for a lomng time, Getting max-win several times , have a dream to cover up my losses.
