I think it is more severe to have an addiction to online gambling than to physical gambling. I think the term "bad" is suited for those addicted gamblers, because most of them are irresponsible. They are neglecting their duties as a certain individual just to make themselves happy in a way they are wasting their money uncontrollably. Add the fact that not all of them are playing gambling legally, some of them are illegal, like casinos who doesn't have licenses or just some traditional gambling games.

yes, we agree that it is a traditional mindset, that statement is no longer relevant in the modern era as it is today. and it is not correct to put (statement) that gamblers are bad people.
this claim is one-sided, does not refer to the actual statement, I think the statement is very extreme to be associated with criminals.
As for the bad effects that occur due to gambling activities, most of them only harm themselves or the people closest to them.  and that's why gambling still has a bad stigma in all levels of society.  despite all that, it is very untrue to judge gamblers are bad people, I think that statement is just a one-sided claim and has no solid basis.

In all three cases, excessive addiction to these things can negatively affect a person's life and health, but if a person can control himself and his desires, he may well play gambling, drink wine and smoke a pipe and be a decent member of society. Even if this is true (which I strongly doubt), what does this have to do with the interests of individuals? When you buy food, go to the movies or gamble, do you think about the interests of society? Personally, I don't.
