Finally submitted my picks, had to carefully calculate the points to have a theoretical chance of catching HH if he slips.
Otherwise I would have gone with 10 points on a bet I consider really safe, I'm sure CLS will go with that one and catch me if I don't win any points.

Playing it safe would have been the smarter move here, but the difference in the rewards isn't that big and I want to be the winner of the first edition of such competition.

Curious to see the picks, both from CLS and HH.

I was about to throw 10 points on Real madrid to win then I realized that it wont do nothing for me even if I hit it so I decided to throw all my point on one of the special bet with higher odds. Cant remember what it is though lol

Yes, and it has been in OP that MD10 will be a combination of all these, since the pool was announced, so it shouldn't be a surprise anyway =)

Well this is a pretty well known issue for a while now. This outage is most likely caused by huge traffic flow into their website and it usually happens either like minutes before the first game of the league / cup starts especially if it is a big game or it usually happens like minutes after a round ended because most people flock into the website to check their scores. Normally most people should be good if they submitted their predictions not on the last 15 minutes or so

Even tough I predicted draw for this game, not really happy with outcome. In 1st half Real scored from onemoment that they had, in 2nd half Bayern already entered with different energy and scored 2 fast goals and it looked thatthey control the game But Real is Real. Factthat Atletico Madrid remains only team this season who managed to beat them says a lot...

Usually it happens after end of some big games, not before it. But it's good warning that we shouldn't wait until last minute to submit predictions.

With Real Madrid I don't know if being ruthless is the right choice of words, but they always sure do grind out results, most of them they get totally outplayed but when it comes what actually matters which is the scores board, it more often than not ends up in their favor, be it deserving or not.


There still is an entire 90 minutes to play for, but I'll consider Real Madrid the heavy favorites after tonight's result.

+1 to this, is incredible and when they make the hit in the game is also incredible, is always in a crucial moment of the game, and inflict a big blow to the other team.

Anyways in this game they also took some of their proper medicine when Bayern scores twice in a very shor span of time.

The draw ended up being a super result for Madrid.

Kim Min's move was not particularly sensible; he had all the time in the world to cover and prevent the ball from reaching Rodrigo's strong foot, but he chose to be nasty instead. He knows too well that Real Madrid players are always fragile in the box and fall at any chances, especially when they are losing...

Bayern had their chances and blew it away with two silly defense work. Let's see what happens in Spain.

I guess that's it for me on Pot B, I had to go all out on Real Madrid, thinking it was my best shot at making it to the top 10. 

My only hope is to gain some points for the Superbru Pool and I think I still have a chance to make it in unless I fall off too much from the overall leaderboards (still waiting for the update to end).

Two silly mistakes from Bayern, but also 4 minutes of lapse of concentration from Real. It's like the classic super favorites of Champions League showing everybody how to play football.

I just read Tuchel's post-game speech on Kim Min, and he blamed him for the two goals, saying he was too nasty on the second, that it was a two against four Bayern players, and there was no chance Rodrigo was going to shoot that.

I had 2-2 and changed to 1-2 for Real just one hour before the game started as I saw the statistics were all in favor of Real during their last 3 encounters and also the performance of each team is much different with Real having a better quality team overall.Still nothing happened in the Pot A to me and chances are high I will be finishing in the top 10 here if I manage to make a win tonight,even a single point would be precious then most likely I am going to remain in top 8 at the very worse of the situations.For Pot B though I am happy as I put a 5 stake to a Real and Bayern draw and I think to have gotten a good 16 points and now I wait the game of tonight and if I hit a win here too then I have assured most likely the last spot of Pot B too and that would be a very good result overall since I never have won anything in the previous pools in Champions League.

I have the other stake on PSG and I think simply Dortmund cannot pretend to be holding PSG from a win tonight,the players of Paris compared to PSG are of a great quality,I don't remember well if they were together in the group stage,I think they were and I have seen the draw there 1-1 but I think that now it is a completely different thing and the motivation is much higher from PSG.I don't expect to see Dortmund behaving like Bayern did yesterday and if they do then it will definitely leave spaces behind which can be quite dangerous as PSG can win the game tonight and as such in the return leg having an easy job,let's see what happens.
