I was very much disappointed with Lukaku... I think his career is over... He was terrible at Chelsea, he didn't perform well at the last World Cup either... I thought Lukaku would be on the pitch from the start. but it turns out that Inter benched him with a not so good health statement. despite losing but Inter has done well. they compete with good quality game. even though in the first half they were more likely to defend because of attacks from Man City, but after the second half Inter managed to wake up with a different strategy that was more daring to come out. because we can see that Man City is also careful when designing an attack.

The defense was actually a very good tactics. He just lacked the players for it. If he had two very fast wingers then it would have worked better. Inter Milan is not a team that normally has the most of possessions. Trust me, you can't play an attacking football with Man City on their day and win. Especially a team like Inter that is not used to that kind of football.
The game would have been way easier for Man City if Inter had attacked bmore because that would have left a lot of spaces for Man City to attack. Aside the fact that City were the better team, Inter were kind of unlucky because if luck was on their side, the should have scored at least one of those chances they got, especially the Oscar's double header.

Yeah, it was a very good season for them, not only did they win the champions league but the premier league as well as the FA cup. That's some season for them and with that, its Pep everywhere now.
Though they had a great season, there champions league final wasn't one where they showed there best performance. They were very cautious but, that was just to ensure they don't male far too much mistakes that could mean danger for the team. No one is to blame when it comes to playing football, unwanted things can happen. matches in 90 minutes are very draining and emotional. Even though Lukaku made a blunder because he accidentally reflected the ball, Lukaku tried his best and tried to score in this match. Luckily, Anderson played very epic, if he wasn't in the best performance, maybe he had two goals for Inter Milan. So it's a shame that many blasphemed and blamed Lukaku, in my opinion it was an accident, apart from that, Ederson did well in the final.

Perhaps, the game might have gone a different way for Manchester City if De Bruyne didn’t go off during the first half of the game. He’s a very talented player and he would have made a difference if not much. Apparently, they didn’t need him as they still went on to win the game without him playing.

Well, after the end of UEFA Champions League of this year 2022/2023 and it wasn’t the best season but we saw some good game to be fair and discovered good new players. Also the good play by Manchester City and could win with the highest expectation. Now it’s period of transfers we already saw some big exchanges and big players leaving Europe and won’t be able to participate in this competition.
In my opinion we will see Real Madrid challenging Barcelona again the next edition of 2023/2024, what’s your expectations for next season?

Lukaku got the reaction time of a sloth, it was a very big time for him coming on the pitch from the bench to play a final, what a chance to prove yourself, but he did nothing except blocking a goal and shooting far off target.

Yes, that's right, Man City did deserve it. But there is something interesting that I got from Man City's journey so that it can become one of the most powerful teams in Europe at the moment, namely the owner of Man City. I was amazed to see that Syekh Mansyur believed in the team's process, since he was acquired and Roberto Mancini arrived it took three years to win the EPL.
This was also done when Pep Guardiola came who was projected to win the UCL, failing once in the final did not get Guardiola fired, and it took four seasons for Guardiola to win the UCL Champion.

Even though the bet I made failed, at least I'm satisfied and happy to see Manchester City win the match in 1x2 thanks to Rodri's goal in the 68th minute.
At first I noticed that the two teams might most likely finish with a draw and would go to penalties so that it would make it easier for Manchester City to win but in reality they won in the second half.

This is the first time I have suffered a big enough defeat when betting on a Manchester City match.

I'm not sure why people find it difficult to believe the truth; the city's fans have already confirmed the victory over Inter Milan, but some supporters have publicly announced that Pep Guardiola will not return to Etihad Stadium irrespective of whether he has won the treble, which has been his main focus all season. Inter was a difficult opponent for City to overcome; Lautaro Martinez and Demarco attempted to pin City but were unsuccessful.  Rodri's long-range score from the penalty spot gave him the lead, and the game changed immediately. The UCL championship returns to the trending English club, Manchester City, as Inter Milan maintains the pressure until the final minute. Pep Guardiola has led Manchester City to win 3 trophies this season and the treble title is difficult for several other teams to get, so it is very unlikely that Pep Guardiola will leave the Etihad Stadium.
With Manchester City's biggest achievement this season, I'm sure Pep Guardiola will be a well-deserved coach for Manchester City, so that next season there is still a big possibility that Manchester City will bring back several titles.
Rodri became the hero in yesterday's final because thanks to his shot Manchester City were able to have and maintain their advantage until the match was over.

I'm pretty sure if Mbappe will stay with PSG, at least we'll still see him wearing a PSG shirt next season. now, Nagelsmann is the strongest candidate as their new coach. it is even reported that there has been no contract agreement with PSG, but his agent is already in Paris to have a serious meeting with the club.

If in the end there is a deal, I'm pretty sure if he can bring PSG much better than Galtier. but there is one problem, can Nagelsmann have full control in the dressing room. if so, I am optimistic that PSG will be able to bounce back. regarding players, they can bring in anyone after all PSG has abundant finances. But lacking tactical understanding doesn't seem to be the case for Nagelsmann, does it? He turned two teams (Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig) into two great competitors in the Bundesliga. He had the financial support from the club owners and then turned the players into a unit that played very intensive soccer and from my understanding there was lots of tactic involved. When he went from Hoffenheim to RB Leipzig it was easily recognizable that Nagelsmann was the new coach because RB Leipzig's tactic had the same handwriting as that of Hoffenheim. I wouldn't say he lacks high level tactical understanding.

But it is still the same problem that he would be developing a team that can win Ligue 1 without getting tested by the best European top teams The risk is that as a coach it is difficult to tell where the team stands until they finally are up against one of those high calibre teams in the Champions League. Lukaku did two things wrong in the match. One was not even entirely his fault. One was the chance he missed and the other was when he blocked Oscar Dimarco's header. What more do you expect of him.
Dzeko was non existent in that match before the injury so there was no guarantee that he would have been better.
Before you miss chances you would have been involved in the game. Dzeko didn't miss any because he wasn't involved.
You don't judge how a player performed by how many chances he missed. L. Martinez missed a couple of chances, does that mean he played badly?
Inter were a little bit unlucky, plus Man City was really good in defense too. Inter player well but the day just went to Manchester City.

So far PSG has been too busy renovating cars to make them look dashing and cool, club management has forgotten that in order for a car to reach its destination it must be provided with a reliable driver. PSG's squad consists of star players from goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and strikers, their reserve players also have above average quality.

PSG have not been able to win the UCL trophy with a group of star players who adorn their squad, the main problem of failure in the UCL so far is because they have not brought in a quality coach. PSG needs to learn from Manchester City, they must look for a coach who has as many achievements as Guardiola to achieve his goals in the UCL. The role of the coach determines the success or failure of a club, coaches who have a lot of experience in European competitions can be relied upon instead of looking for standard quality coaches like Galtier.

Simeone was wrongly picking the striker for the starting line up. He was picking dzeko for 60 minutes. At that time intermilan was never able attacking manchester city. Intermilan was a bit better when lukaku was going in. I don't even know why simeone was using stupid old player as a starting line up.
Lukaku was not lucky enough in that match caused by he has been missing so many chances, but he deserves applause. It's caused by simeone was only using him once the match was coming to its end.
Rodri has become a nightmare for intermilan with his accurate shoot. That being said that if intermilan was performing so badly in the final of UCL. As you can see that how intermilan had gotten many chances but it's missing it all.

This time is not intermilan's season. Intermilan is always having second chance. Inter may be lucky enough next year but im sure if the formation will be fully changed.

I think it's not about the wrong tactic because technically Manchester City squad quality is above to Inter Milan so they have capable to playing by pressing against Inter Milan and it has been showed since the beginning of match that Manchester City has taking initiative to threaten Inter Milan defensive lines and it make Inter were pushed to playing more defensively because it could be suicided if Inter Milan playing with attacking style too but indeed when Inter players too focus to Haaland or De Bruyne they seems weakening their guard for other players and i think nobody expect Rodrigo can scored fantastic goal but regardless all of it i think credit to Inter Milan and Inzaghi because they can go this far and it's not easy reach to final match

I think it's not about the wrong tactic because technically Manchester City squad quality is above to Inter Milan so they have capable to playing by pressing against Inter Milan and it has been showed since the beginning of match that Manchester City has taking initiative to threaten Inter Milan defensive lines and it make Inter were pushed to playing more defensively because it could be suicided if Inter Milan playing with attacking style too but indeed when Inter players too focus to Haaland or De Bruyne they seems weakening their guard for other players and i think nobody expect Rodrigo can scored fantastic goal but regardless all of it i think credit to Inter Milan and Inzaghi because they can go this far and it's not easy reach to final match

I actually saw that Simone Inzaghi had made the most appropriate tactic for Inter Milan in yesterday's final. At least Simone Inzaghi has made a strong defense and excellent counterattack. Even Inzaghi was able to make Man City's defense panic every time Inter Milan built an attack. In fact several times Inter Milan almost scored a goal. Inter Milan, who has a squad that is not too superior compared to Man City, can in fact keep up with Man City's game. and the proof is that Man City's attackers are not able to create as many chances as they did against other teams. Even Inter Milan in the Final match can be said to have performed better than Real Madrid in the Semi Finals.

If not for Rodri who was able to score from an unexpected point. Then maybe the match will end in a draw until normal time ends and will continue with extra time. It's just that Rodri has proved that the quality of Man City players is far superior to Inter Milan. And Inter Milan being able to go this far is already an extraordinary achievement with the limitations they have.
