Good morning. Some days ago I was taking a look at my twitter feedback and I found something some of you could find interesting or at leat worthy of some discussion.

It seems there are slot machines of a popular japanese animation called "Madoka Magica", basically girls with magic powers, these slots machines seem to include a tactile screen for the player to interact with the characters in order to gamble.

In these Tweets you can see how two of the characters seem to ask the player to "touch" their fingertips as part of the slot machine functionality. (For some reason, if the player chooses to hold on it more than necessary the character reacts to it)

In general the slots are the same, I mean the game is basically luck, of course I like slot games especially at certain times like the ones I've played Voodoo Magic, Xmas Magic.

It seems that the slot you say is more dominant like the Sailor Moon cartoon slot game, Naruto, however, I have never tried to play the Madoka Magica slot, maybe if it promises why not.

So, what's interesting about the Madoka Magica slot compared to the Magic slot in general, what luck is there and what gambling site you play on that slot.

I am not sure about the details whether the interaction with the screen affects the outcome of the gambling (I doubt it).
It would guess that this is simply a slow machine made to capitalize on a very successful anime franchise, since anyone who have watched the series would feel drawn to gamble on it because the characters, even if they have not gambled before whatsoever.

I thought it involves an erotic game when I saw the Japanese word on the thread title and some few words on the description but I got disappointed when I see the actual game.

I doubt that there will be changes on the outcome or even the mechanics on how you play slots but rather this is more of changing the aesthetic looks of the game. We all know how things work on Japan and it is not surprising that this kind of machine exist on their casinos. Possibly, there are more things that has been changed on that casino such as the overall design of the place which has a theme of anime characters.

A slot machine using a touch screen to play, the animation of the voice character is quite tempting, honestly I'm interested yeah I like it a little. According to the short video on the first link, it look like a classic three reel slot machine. It's only instead of pulling the arm or pushing a button (as you do on classic machines), in this one you have to tap with your finger on the touchscreen to spin the reels. Those cartoon images and animation are there just to make the game funnier and more interactive and I don't believe they affect in anyway the outcome of the game.

I find it nice compared to the traditional slots we play offline and online,the girl in the first tweeter link saying "you can let your hand off now" is cool but I know that in the end I would get mad from such sayings all the time.I am used to the only animations being the music of the slot machine plus the sounds it makes together with "Mega win" "Ultra big win" etc which make us feel really good for just a moment when we get such winnings.

The Japanese are taking advantage of their culture, and that is something admirable especially since they integrate what most of their people like. Though on the gambling aspect of this particular slot machine, I don't think it will attract hardcore gamblers. I mean, I would definitely try them out as this idea is somehow of an innovation towards your conventional gambling slot machines. But if you are asking if I would get addicted to them, chances are that I will not. The problem with slots revolve around the probability of winning the prize money, which is absolutely low. You would definitely cost more money in the process than to win the actual prize by probability.

Though that may be the case, the innovation introduced would definitely bring and attract more users into slots. This seemingly harmless addition is potentially dangerous in making people getting addicted by introducing anime aspects of it in your gambling games.

Well, it's a nice addition, especially in the case of Japan where a lot are fans of their anime. If, say, they were to make something similar to this with player vs AI kind of games and the AI basically acts something like this, then damn that might be an entertaining experience in itself. I definitely would try this out myself since I'm quite fond of Japanese animation, unsure about others though since afaik there are still people who frown upon it.

Apparently a lot of people around the world are crazy about Japanese animation (anime, manga and all that stuff). I never really understood this and I couldn't care less about Japanese animation(or any other animation).

As a person who likes anime, I would definitely play on these slot machines if it's available on my country. I think, for "Madoka Magica" fans it's a perfect slot. I can't imagine they would choose to play other themed slot if they had this one as an option.

Hmmm, it's unique compared to the other website but the thing it is i am more into what can I benefit in the game, having an interactive function is not very interesting for me, it may be good since it is unique and the owners and devs really put an effort to make this thing happen but not all people will like it. Definitely a rated PG kind of slot machine I am going to be asked since the language used kinda teasing as well as the expression of the characters. First time I am hearing about these slot games. I know from my visits in Japan that people over there love slot games, even though it's not allowed to gamble for money directly. That's why all these casinos use small metal balls for their games. Going into one of these places is very loud and seems strange to any Western gambler. Anime slots would definitely fit in their style. Generally, your factor and consideration of playing slots depends highly on "Themes>RTP".

If that is so, you might miss some of the good slots with better RTPs since themes are a factor for you. Well, regardless and we already know about this fact, even how good the RTP is, it doesn't mean we will have a good luck on that slots so nothing wrong with your criterias of choosing.

Man, Japan is a completely different world (different dishes, different music, different culture), I think this is not correct to ask westerners about this. Ofc people who like something new and/or like anime and it's culture would play on it for sure. Some more conservative people would answer "no", but happened to them to go to Japan,. they would play on it also.

The characters from the show are  about 14-15 years old, so they are pre teens, indeed.

I think that slots with Japanese characters or manga will not be famous outside of Japan because these characters are familiar to a very narrow circle of people. In my opinion, to increase interest in slots, you should use more well-known characters or use a neutral theme that suits anyone regardless of where they live, interests, age, etc.

There are millions of anime fans all over the world.  I do not think that the fanbase are too narrow or just a small circle for this theme.

Actually, it varies to everyone's perspective whether they would like these kind of design and animation on slots games. Some people actually like these designs and animation especially for anime fans and Japan culture enthusiast. right, I think the result would be different if slot machines like this were in las vegas because gambling players in vegas (the majority) don't really like anime. The culture, and customs of an area really affect the results that slot machine owners get. As a person who likes anime, I would definitely play on these slot machines if it's available on my country. It can be usually found in Japan and is a good marketing strategy because it can easily attract people who have the same interest as mine and not just only gamblers. it looks like this will only be in Japan, if you look at the impressions, that this slot machine is played on land not online.
the majority of Japanese people are used to anime, there are more anime fans than regular TV shows, and yes, I think the adoption of anime on slot machines is nothing but to increase the attractiveness of people in Japan itself.

It's a strange concept but possibly goes to show how lonely society in in Japan and the ways that casinos are trying to profit from that. Instead of physical touch, which certain players might not have, it is trying to emulate the psychological stimulation in some weird way. It sort of fits in with the whole rewiring of the brain that takes place and there was probably research conducted, which came to the conclusion that this style of game generates more profit. It's maybe a sad reflection of the general trend of people towards more isolation.

Japanese slots are really entertaining because they added some really good features in their slots, They added Madoka Kaname from Magi Madoka Magica as an extra feature to make the slots more entertaining. Anime theme slots are very cool in my opinion.  I remembered that we have some Japanese arcade machine in our local city that is non-gambling but for entertainment (ticket rewards). I think these machines are not powered by any AI whatsoever, but pre-set animated scenes. nonetheless, thanks the advance of technology these slot machines could easily be designed to receive updates in order to include new animations and settings so they will not become too repetitive. I don't think people would completely agree on implementing an Artifical intelligence on a gambling machines because moral implications.

There are applications that can control kids' access to the internet.  So basically parents can control what their kids can access when they are at home.  Parents can also set up the gadget their kids are using and prevent the device from accessing the site or application that can do harm to the kids.

If i love slots, I will not worry so much about the kind of slots game I play, I may have a favourite that i love to play regularly, but say my favourite is not available, I will be willing and excited trying out a new slot machines, I think this is the same for other slot lovers.

Good morning. Some days ago I was taking a look at my twitter feedback and I found something some of you could find interesting or at leat worthy of some discussion.

It seems there are slot machines of a popular japanese animation called "Madoka Magica", basically girls with magic powers, these slots machines seem to include a tactile screen for the player to interact with the characters in order to gamble.

In these Tweets you can see how two of the characters seem to ask the player to "touch" their fingertips as part of the slot machine functionality. (For some reason, if the player chooses to hold on it more than necessary the character reacts to it)

the majority of Japanese people are used to anime, there are more anime fans than regular TV shows, and yes, I think the adoption of anime on slot machines is nothing but to increase the attractiveness of people in Japan itself.

Playing slots requires luck to win and that luck will not always be on your side.

I think that slots with Japanese characters or manga will not be famous outside of Japan because these characters are familiar to a very narrow circle of people. In my opinion, to increase interest in slots, you should use more well-known characters or use a neutral theme that suits anyone regardless of where they live, interests, age, etc.

There are millions of anime fans all over the world.  I do not think that the fanbase are too narrow or just a small circle for this theme.

You are right and I just made some brief search and it seems that not only companies are taking aim to the memories and nostalgia of adults with anime series but also using popular videogame fanchises to capitalize within the gambling business.
