I think in the future the market capitalization of eth will have closer value with btc, considering that smart contract blockchain usually grows faster since there are metaverses and the likes that could significantly grows the market capitalization in the long run, surely logically eth definitely have the chance. even though as long as btc is still first choice in term of investments by the big investments fund company, eth will hardly could ever take over btc since surely the investment will instead flows in btc and increase btc value.

Eth is great, btc is the greatest among all. It's a good thing they finally found a solution to the high gas fee, which we really don't know how successful it's gonna be.
When the merge happens their is possibility of eth gaining more and their is also possiblity of a great fall after the pump.
To me I don't see anything which will make eth take over BTC. Btc remains the father, it has gain alot of trust and adoption, apart from that, I still believe in btc more than I do for eth.

Where the crypto market can be said to depend on Bitcoin, there is no way to rise above Bitcoin. Ether price is also following this Bitcoin. So it is not possible in any way. But Ether may be more powerful than ever. We once compared a coin to Bitcoin in terms of price called YFI. At one point the price was higher than Bitcoin. But his popularity was not established. PoS just exists today because PoW consumes a lot of energy. If you read technically, PoW is way superior than PoS. I believe PoS is just some kind of remedy to the 'energy disease'. Quantum computers are coming to stay in a close future, and this energy issue will be fixed. But OFC the market is not rational. I believe, in a long term, ETH will be merged to ashes.

Ethereum foundation has revealed recently Ethereum merge Wont reduce  gas fees and the main goal of this merge is not reducing gas fees . maybe Ethereum will go to $20000 or $30000 . but bitcoin will be at least $200000 By that time.

No one will think about eth to take over btc lets take a look back on the price of eth and btc its been a long time and never in the history record that eth take over BTC price the coin has its own function and use case they are both a good coin but i always prefer on investing btc than eth even in a future i still believe that btc is still the number one coin in crypto.

If we look at Bitcoin which has always dominated the market since the beginning, and there is no single project that can replace Bitcoin until now.
I agree that Ethereum is unlikely to take over Bitcoin, even though the Ethereum teams were able to overcome the problem of gas fees it was
impossible to beat Bitcoin. Because as the first coins to enter the market, Bitcoin is already too strong to beat. So it is not surprising that altcoins
often follow the movement of Bitcoin. The comparison of Bitcoin and Ethereum prices is quite far, because after all the demand for Bitcoin will
always be higher than Ethereum. Not only Ethereum, there have been many projects created to beat Bitcoin, but all of them ended in failure.

But how does Ethereum beat bitcoin? Currently, the market capitalization of bitcoin is almost twice that of ethereum and accounts for more than 40% of the total market capitalization, if you think ethereum is up to 80% then bitcoin will stand still for it to pass. And how does ETH go up while bitcoin doesn't, once bitcoin doesn't go up no altcoin can go up?

I think converting Ethereum PoW to PoS will not work well for the future, because we know that Ethereum can be priced at $1000 like it is now because Ethereum is a lot of people like it,
one of the advantages of Ethereum is mining and it is already being mined all over the world,
if Ethereum switch to PoS, then what happens to the miners?

When Ethereum has switched to PoS, miners will of course turn away from ethereum because they will not get rewarded like before and since the news of switching PoW network to PoS circulating now ethereum miners have switched to other coins like with ETC coins and will indirectly make Ethereum classic coin is more valuable because miners keep coming to mine with them.

Yes Bitcoin is now the top cryptocurrency in terms of popularity, usage ‍and acceptance. The Ether platform is undergoing massive development and will continue to do so in the future, but it will never be able to compete with Bitcoin.
