For example, I was wondering what the difference is between "Autoban user" and "Nuke user" in the Deletion log and instead of creating a new topic about that, I used DuckDuckGo and searched for "what is autoban site:bitcointalk.org" and found this topic which answered my question.

Try not to (automatically) create new topics when you want to know something, the question that you have has often already been answered.

You can either use the built-in search or use an external search engine with "site:bitcointalk.org" appended to your query (without the quotes).

There is a very good topic on this issue, but newcomers who come here to "earn money" are in a hurry. How many times has this been suggested? They are reading?

The same goes for plagiarism. Someone considers everyone so naive that by copying the text and passing it off as their own, they expect to receive some merit.

I was once surprised at how often topics with the same content and meaning appear in this section. And this shows that once a month we retell the same thing.

Yesterday I sent a report to repeat the topic, but it remained unprocessed. Why? All this has already happened, and the same people repeat the same words.

This should be highlighted at the beginning of each board, although I doubt that it would help, because some members simply do not want to read the rules, and apparently it does not occur to them that the answers to their questions already exist. I can still somehow understand someone who is young and inexperienced and follows the line of least resistance, but I really don't understand those who open a new thread on the same topic, even though there is already a thread on the same topic that you can hardly overlook.

Although it's better to not creating a similar discussion that has been created before, but sometimes a few discussion deserve a new topic since it's important.

Here's the topic I refer to:
1. Recent events should make everyone withdraw all their coins to their own wallets
2. Recent events should make you withdraw all your coins to your own wallet: Part 2

I'm more annoyed to see many users created a same topic when there's a hype news, example about tornado cash mixer

The second thread still not locked and many users still continue to spam.

The other thing I hate is a merit fishing topic.

Although it's better to not creating a similar discussion that has been created before, but sometimes a few discussion deserve a new topic since it's important.

There are two sorts of topics IMO, the topic that is started with the intention to ask a question to know, and a topic started with the intention to share an information or knowledge. If your intention is to share an information or your knowledge with the forum, endeavor to make use of the search option to see if it has already been shared so you don't create a duplicate and an unnecessary topic.

If it is a topic you intend starting with an intention to know better, still make use of the search option, but ensure to read through the topic that is if you find any topic on it already to see if they have been addressed properly. If so you can lay the topic to rest in your head and not start an unnecessary discussion, but if after going through the topic and your concern is not clear maybe due to your case being peculiar, feel free to start the discussion again from your own angle, you can go ahead to reference still that there was a topic of such before, but it didn't put your concern to rest. You have the right to ask a question in your own terms.

Using the forum search function might be complex for users as it show some messed up results with keywords highlighted you have mentioned in the search parameters which could be confusing for the members.Although you can filter out the search with lot of options like specific board, time frame and others but still advice you to go the other way.

The simple Google search followed by bitcointalk.org will give you a list of threads having that information and you can go through them easily and this is best way of doing it

Or you can also check it through https://ninjastic.space/ to see if there are similar threads or not to avoid double posting of the same information on the forum.

OP is absolutely right. There are too many topics on the forum with almost the same questions, which have already been answered several times.
It irritates me personally, and I believe other forum members as well.
Questions about how to advance on the forum, how to get merit or how to make money on the forum have become particularly irritating. It seems to me that we have answered these questions at least a hundred times 
Sometimes there are too many such topics and it is difficult to find a meaningful and interesting topic for discussion.
Advice like this from the OP is good but I'm sure it won't have any effect on most newbie members.

I used to also have ideas like you, especially the topic in the Bitcoin section, my speculation saw a new topic on average that was asked the same, I want to propose as you proposed then I tried to find out if the topic had been created, yes I see there is a topic about that.

And one more thing i saw in this forum, same discussion board as i mentioned above, lots of newbies are creating topics and asking questions, one topic has taken up 30-50 pages with one question, i also want to suggest to Topic: [GUIDE] Lock Thread(s) After Receiving Enough Replies., Finally I also found that someone had made it, I finally gave up my intention.

I hope your suggestion is for beginners in this forum, can do and understand it in terms of 'search'.

I considered bumping an existing thread, but I figured that a fresh topic would attract more replies which would lead to greater visibility, which is a net positive in this case (I hope). The irony of making a new topic about unnecessarily making new topics was not lost on me.

Yup, there seems to be a lot of that. It would be nice to see more locked threads with people asking genuine questions and getting genuine answers before moving on.

Some topics seem to attract spammers who just keep adding more rubbish to the heap. It's almost as if signature spammers are relieved to have something to post about so they just add their bullshit answer to the end of the thread.

I really wish the quality of discussion was better but I also don't want to get carried away giving signature spammers a hard time because I'd like to join a campaign at some point and maybe keeping the quality of your posts high while still making quota is much harder than I realize.

It has been said several times but many Newbies doesn’t heed to the advice, I don’t think the amount of questions a Newbie needs especially when it come to issues on the forum hasn’t been discussed or brought up here. Probably newbies want to trigger sentimental merit, increase post count and so on. But if you seen in-depth information concerning your question is best you search it first.

By the way I don't think it's only newbie's that make this error even higher ranked members are also guilty of creating threads to ask questions that has already been asked several times in the forum, but not like the newbie's though.

I have always appreciated topics such as this that remind us of the basics and help us measure or better put, keep time track of the progress one has made so far.
If one has ranked up, it is as a result of adherence by default or from knowledge gotten by lessons learned from mistakes already made.
It's rare the oldies here recreate a topic already discussed, it is the newbies like myself, who often are confronted with this dilemma. If this wasn't stressed, however, the latest newbies would walk in the same line, ignoring the use of the search button.
