Can Solana be the next Ethereum???

Solana is cool as a plaything.  I'm sure whenever they get a good metaverse developed they'll be able to find a lot of interest.  The younger people I know seem to gravitate towards Solana for some reason.  I think because of the low fees.  It gives you the Ethereum experience without costing you a hundred dollars in fees to buy a picture.  It's obviously way too centralized and buggy to be a legitimate competitor to Ethereum now, but maybe in 5-10 years they'll figure things out the way ETH2 has for Ethereum.

One of the things where the community do always look upon is on the transactions speed and cost and we know that top altcoins in the market does have these kind of qualities which it isnt surprising
that they are really getting that much support.
Speaking about potential and overtaking the current #2 in overall market is something really hard to believe that it could be overtaken by something but we know that
probabilities is always there since we know that nothing do last forever if we do speak about ranking or market position but who knows right?

You should update the ETH gas transaction fee because the fee is much lower than before, the details of the ETH transfer fee are only $0.2 and the ERC20 transfer is only $0.6 so progress is very fast for reducing transaction fees on the ETH network, so I think there is no need for other networks for alternatives because ETH network is enough for everything. ETH and Solana are not a comparison for now but Sol is still the top altcoin worth considering investing in.

ETH will never be replaced by solana, we have seen how the solana network is very vulnerable to blackouts. solana for me has lost credibility as an altcoin that can compete with ETH.

Sol has not been a competitor to ethereum from the start, I suspect that all projects have always been marketed as an alternative to ethereum, it's all just hype marketing to get attention community intentions. That's rightly said. Outages are also a hurdle for a new project but halting the blockchain itself is seriously a bad thing which promotes centralization.
For a big project like Solana it has definitely defamed the coin but I hope things become better over time.
Still it is one of the best projects in the top 10 which is a strong reason why investing some amount in it is not a bad idea.
