Once you do step your foot into this market then you should really be prepared when it comes to volatility because this would be the primary thing that you would encounter
and better to prepare yourself and if you cant bare out the risk due to moving prices then this investment isnt for you but if you could sustain yourself and able to

I am not sure if this plays a big role in why people are afraid of Bitcoins. It's true that our upbringing plays a big role in what we are afraid of and what not. For example, if our are parents and grand parents where too afraid to invest in stocks directly and let rather the bank decide on the investments than it's likely we as kids will do the same. My grand father was always very interested in stocks and liked to choose them all by himself. As a kid he gifted me my first stocks and that is probably why I became so interested in investing and trading. For me crypto currencies is the new form of commodities and currencies that everybody should be invested it. I am not afraid and hope that over time more people lose their fear of the new unknown. What makes most people afraid to invest larger sums in the bitcoins and other coins is the volatility in my opinion. If you look at the bitcoin price at the start of the year it was around 40.000 USD and 1 year ago it was at 60.000 USD, and 2-3 years ago it was at 10.000 USD. This big volatility scares of some potential new investors who likely wait for bitcoins to reach a more stable era.

I think they're afraid because the government ban, religion issue, volatility, no physical appearance and always think someone has a control behind the market. Bitcoin is way more safe than any altcoin for a newbie if bought at the proper price and time. If the person is patient enough to hold bitcoin, they will see big profits on their first investment in crypto and not wish to put money in any of the altcoins. But since most newbies want quick profit and quick gains, they go for easier bought altcoins which fail to recover even the buying price.

I dont think the term "coward" is the proper use here. Being diligent is rather the thing, because every person is afraid of losing their money and there is nothing wrong with that. But putting your money in a risky place without doing any asset management is fatal. Would not want that to happen to someone just because they were not "cowards". So better to do your research and invest wisely, or not invest at all.

Maybe it's a good thing to be afraid to invest in bitcoin, it's a natural protection. In my opinion, buying bitcoin is speculating. Investing means building apps on top of bitcoin or injecting capital into bitcoin startups.

There are various proofs that being afraid comes with good things and it is something that everyone has ever since we were born. It is also something that we share among any kind of living being and it provides us with natural and raw protection from anything we encounter. Fear is not something that has been taught to us but rather we overcome it every time we learn something such as if we don't know something and are afraid or hesitant to even try it.

Just like on any investment, we can relate our feelings when we first started as we doubt ourselves if it will be profitable or not which is why we are very hesitant. However, once we took the risk, we will be able to overcome our doubts through the knowledge we acquire on every investment we take. I can personally attest to this as I was also very hesitant and doubtful before investing and trading crypto but through loss and gain, I was able to assess each situation with various experience I've learned along the way.

If they spread negative things about crypto this can affect the mindset of the people (specially those only relying on news and dont have internet to verify the information).

Even Bitcoin is not scam and only use as tool, it has a negative impact to its image and people who have lack of knowledge and didn't not even bother to investigate further have this impression to Bitcoin as scam. Well, we really cant please everyone to believe, because if these people are interested they will do something to know the facts.

Yes, fear has made many people to concluded that investing in Bitcoin is a scam some years ago, because their government did not give them the opportunity to know what Bitcoin is all about to humanity.
