Ethereum drop gets me worried.

In general, today the market drop and ETH drop are around 7%, of course not because of the merge process that has been completed for almost a month but because of the bearish market, it is impossible for Eth to run alone while the market is dropping, all we do is only patient and buy again when the price is cheap .

It can be a correction and also due to the bear market.  Aside from that, the creation of new ETH tokens is way cheaper than before so it is also another factor.  But nevertheless,  I still think ETH will will recover after this bear market despite of the controversies of the transition.  And I still think ETH is in for a huge correction in the coming months.

I agree the ETH market is going down because the overall cryptocurrency market is going down however i believe that POS ETH should have the same valuation like the POW one because the cost of production is not that much and hence it is selling at a huge margin   . I am expecting the price to go down further and i am not sure when they are planning to cap the number of coins in existence even though i heard these discussions earlier.

Capping ETH may bring great news for this will counter the cheap production of ETH.


@OP if you are in for a long run, then you need not to worry about ETH.  Developers and marketers are busy developing the ETH market so we just need to sit down and relax while hodling ETH.

It dropped because the merge isn't an upgrade and it made the chain more centralized. People are selling their ETH and smart money is waiting to invest in MAXX finance, SUI, and APTOS when they launch in Q4. Keep an eye out for those.

It's hard to accept but that's the truth. War and economic recession are still hot conversations until now, even 2023 may be the toughest year for everyone. But I think we have to stay calm in the face of all this even though it's very difficult but try to survive under any circumstances. Yeah. i have the same opinion like you but in additional if newbies must know what thing that already happened before. In my opinion if there would be no something special from merge. Basically it does only to change consensus of network.

When the merger event was almost held last month, many investors tried to take advantage of the momentum by buying some ETH coins and hoped that when the merger was completed it could make the coin price soar, but the reality is different from what many people expected, where after the merger the price dropped and until now it's still hard to get back into the $1.6k area where $1.6k was the pre-merger eth price.

alot traders still didnt understand ,how roumor and fact will give impact to price. Most of them only care about hype thata going on at that time. Ethereum price as expected whales,they create fomo by pumping its price before merge . While alot retaild traders fomo they will sell it. This is the fundamental often happened ,but alot of us didnt learn from experience.

Very important to know how to analyze the market before engaging and deciding with what you'll going to do, if you think
that there's no reason to continue holding better to sell and try to invest with other coin.

Yeah right , as your post last page are about that MAXX Finance that I don't think there are lot of future ahead of this and Finance projects are good in the past but nowadays? I'm not sure if they are still great to invest now.

Making decisions against the tide is definitely risky but to be honest I'm not too worried about Ethereum,
the market is also still in bearish condition and we don't know when the market will rise,
