Some streamers creates their own website to connect with Twitch, it includes the stream elements feature of Twitch wherein you can also buy from the store of which that particular streamer is offering. Perhaps for these streamers, maybe they can just migrate to their own website if they want to pursue the gambling stream even without Twitch. And if those streamers can have followers on their own website, I don't think it will have much effect on them because they can still provide live videos to their followers. And who knows, it could even allow streamers to reach more people to visit their website. But whatever it is, streamers are sure to find a way out of Twitch's ban so that won't stop them from getting what they want. We do know that it isnt only Twitch do have those streaming features which there are other ones, it did really just turn out that they are really that popular and that what makes them been preferred but if you do look around, then you could really see other platforms. If Twitch would already make that ban effective then it would really be just normal that they would really finding another place which they could make out streams. Its not really that a huge problem but for Twitch itself then it would really be that a significant loss to them but well its their decision. Twitch is still hoping they can make a lot of money from that stream because they have other videos that can keep people going to their site. But it looks like sooner or later, the number of people visiting Twitch could decrease if Twitch doesn't do something about it. Streamers can indeed find other places to put on the gambling shows that have been banned on Twitch, especially if they have a free subscription email service for their loyal viewers so they can send updates to their viewers. Well, we'll just have to wait and see what the streamers will do. Removing gambling related streams then it would be particular giving out different impressions to other co-streamers whether they would really be affected by that or would simply ignore and stay up on Twitch. For sure it would really make out some decrease but lets see if on how they would really be able to handle up such changes but pretty sure that they had been fully prepared and aware in regarding on the decisions that they had made out. Just like the rest been saying that this isnt only the streaming platform out there. There's still some other options left. But maybe those streamers will switch to gambling games that are still allowed by Twitch because it means they don't have to leave Twitch which has given them space to share hobbies or provide content for people. If that's the case, maybe people will be more careful about providing content and try not to violate Twitch's new rules. So the ban from Twitch is not the end of everything but a new beginning for streamers to be able to continue to channel it elsewhere. We will see later.

As far as I know, it was all about how there would be absolutely no games of gambling allowed, but that is just what I assumed would happen, not what I knew that would happen, which is why I had no idea that it would go on like this. At the end of the day, we are talking about something that is going to hurt the markets a bit, and that's not going to be so simple to go on neither, it's going to be marketing hell for a while until all of them find another place, which means it will take time and cause some discomfort.

But for sure everything will take place since twitch is not the only platform where people can livestream their actions made in casino so I guess this will only create small problem but will be solve by those influential people since for sure their followers will follow them wherever they go. This will really hurt the market but maybe this could widen up their reach since for sure they might find more platforms to stream and this could increase more their influence to people who doesn't know them yet or the activities they do.

I don't know if there's an alternative platform to livestream yet but I think they will find sooner or later which they can stream gambling related streams. You're wrong here, Twitch doesn't ban gambling streamer e.g. Drake because he's gambling on sport betting, not luck based games e.g. slots, roulette, dice etc. The problem is Twitch banning the site e.g. Stake, if Stake separate his casino site and sportsbook site, of course they will can advertise on Twitch.
What do you mean exactly with this? If Stake, as a separate entity, goes live on Twitch that is okay? Stake is a gambling entity, and it's not safe from Twitch's ban since they are a gambling platform. I am quite surprised with the statement that stake may be able to continue streaming if the casino is separated from sportsbook when we all knew that sportsbook is a different kind of gambling which bettors bet on a certain sports and try their chance to win more money. I do agree that any gambling related site or platform is not safe from twitch banon gambling stream because of their platform becoming a haven for scammers.

So, it's like that Twitch is still the king of streaming against other streaming platforms. Facebook is also a good platform where has a lot of viewers for streamers but I don't know if they'll allow gambling contents to be viewed in their stream.

For now we've got more platforms that support streaming and they might have their own terms and conditions.

Not heard of Dlive before but it doesnt matter for Drake, people will go where he tells them he is now streaming. I dont think its an issue for people already famous really, if the site is capable of handling the traffic then he can and will likely use it. I like the boundary they draw though I see plenty of luck involved in sports or poker or any betting really but I get they intend to name it a skill based game so relevant to stay on the site. A bad person trying to scam people, lying, stealing basically is something that exists every sector of industry and definitely occurs in politics, broadcasting, entertainment. Its naive to think otherwise but this is the easiest path for them to change policy on I guess, I can see them changing it back in future also tbh. Mainstream games have a ton of gambling built into them as revenue generators also, worth mentioning that hasnt changed.

If you visit this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5414408.0, it says that We will continue to allow websites that focus on sports betting, fantasy sports, and poker. So there are still gambling games that are allowed to air on Twitch. Maybe at this time, the streamers are still looking for a place to show their content that is still allowed and I'm sure they will be back on air shortly. That won't stop them from providing content to other subscribers or viewers.

That's true that's why I said that they will find another platform sooner or later. Twitch is scheduled to ban gambling so right now I think they still let people stream gambling. I am not sure if twitch will just announce that they ban gambling especially streame from the sites they mentioned in their twitter but I think not all gambling will be banned but I did read that they will identify other to ban as well but they did announced to continue with sports betting, fantasy sports and poker so that means not all may be banned.

Watching streamers gambling with a ton of money is a complete waste of time if you ask me since the funds that they use are usually supplied by the site that they are gambling in which implies that the risk factor here is zero.
It's a clever tactic used by many popular gambling sites to attract gamblers for sure, but trying to replicate their wins is silly due to the difference in the risk factor between the streamers and gamblers.
I guess some people watch these streams for fun which is the silver lining here.

The fans are going to follow them wherever they go, that's why those streamers that are entertaining will always find a good spot wherever they go. Aside from those donations that they'll receive from their fans, they can secure contract and support from the platform itself aside from advertisements and partnerships too. Dlive is the other platform that I've known where they can stream. YouTube has streaming as well. But for Dlive, it's not that much users yet and viewers are still few.

Pretty sure it is wasting time activity if we do not like it but there are thousands of people who like to watch it for some reasons. Some people watch it because there will be giveaway by the streamer and some other watch it because they purely like to watch it. I myself do not like to watch live stream (any content) but I do like to watch some clips of nice winning from the streamers (I dont care whether they use real money or not). In this case, Drake is an official ambassador of Stake so if Twitch will ban him then I believe there will be communication between Stake and Drake to find the best alternative streaming platform.

i figure all crypto gambling streamers will go to youtube. but as you know that won't last long.
youtube will do what they do best, censor the biggest channels as soon as they are settled in.
Stunna, can you make a site thats just for crypto gambling streaming?
you would make millions from it.
i love watching slot streamers. its great entertainment.
I just found out that Some gambling contents have been banned from Twitch after one of its streamers reportedly stole tens of thousands of dollars from fans and fellow streamers in order to fuel a gambling habit. Eddie said today in his stream that Drake will make a new stream soon, in the coming weeks. It will be after the 18th october because if it was in the 10 coming days it would be already scheduled on a specific date. So it will be necessarily outside Twitch. Eddie didn't say where it will be, but we can assume it will be on Dlive, since it seems to be his favorite stream platform.

Youtube is worst than Twitch, so I don't think there's another good platform for Drake except Twitch since the other platforms doesn't popular.
They banned gambling from "unlicensed" providers and they consider any company with a Curacao gaming license as unlicensed. Obviously this was to put a blanket ban on most of the gambling content that people were publishing, though I suppose someone could possibly circumvent the ban if there are providers that Twitch considers to have legitimate licenses. Youtube is worst than Twitch, so I don't think there's another good platform for Drake except Twitch since the other platforms doesn't popular. Why is YouTube worse than twitch? They have massive global market share, just not in livestreaming. Their political censorship is overboard but I understand wanting to waive liability from the tech censorship overlords by banning discussion of contentious political topics. Gambling isn't as taboo so it seems like they allow gambling content to be published.

That is the censorship youtube will do on gambling channels. Youtube is playing safe when they remove or banned videos that have political views. They just don't want to have problems with the authority and wanted to make their operation smooth by banning and deleting videos that can offend or attack any political parties. Aside from that, Youtube is a good platform and maybe a good alternative for gambling streamers now that twitch is banning these gambling streamers. Though we also don't know what will happen if regulators started to pressure youtube to ban gambling streamers since it is highly possible to happen too.

Only a YouTube hater would say crap like that since anyone with a half-decent brain knows that YouTube is way, way more popular than the other platforms which were mentioned in some of the previous posts. Aside from that, Youtube is a good platform and maybe a good alternative for gambling streamers now that twitch is banning these gambling streamers.
YouTube is more restrictive when compared to Twitch in this case which is why I don't think your suggestion is really helpful here.

YouTube is more restrictive when compared to Twitch in this case which is why I don't think your suggestion is really helpful here. Why do we even need to compare Youtube and twitch ? Both cover the difference audience and both are popular in one way or another, however, Youtube is more watched as compared to Twitch. As per some data , Youtube has 2.1 billion monthly active users while only 30 Million Active users visit Twitch daily. So you can find the difference in number of visitors at both platforms. However, when it comes to gambling content or crypto currencies content, both have some restrictions and those streamers are not given free hand on both platforms. Twitch bans content which included unlicensed slots, dice and other gambling games while youtube has a restricted policy over content related to gambling, drugs , alcohol etc. Content creators and advertisers need to follow the policies given by these centralized platforms and also creators needs to find a more decentralized place on the internet where they can create content and stream without much restrictions.
