My country prohibits gambling. but gambling is quite rampant around where I live. So I conclude that gambling addicts are not affected by the law imposed by the local government. why this is so the reason is because taxes are the main thing that is the benchmark for gambling houses to run their business. Gambling is still considered illegal in many countries. But many citizens of that country are gambling. No government can control it. In this case, the government of many countries have restrict those gambling sites, but users are still gambling using VPN. If someone enjoys gambling then no one can stop him. I believe that there is no need for complete stopping , instead what I think is just to gamble for fun , remember that there are reasons why we gamble and that is some wanted to Win and Earn while others wanted to have fun and at least try their luck to win.

If the government of a country makes something illegal it is the duty of the citizen of that country not to do or avoid it. You seems to be a very good citizen Leaving gambling might be easy for those who are not really enjoying the fun part of gambling or for those who use it as a professional job (poker players and sports bettors), but it can be really hard to leave gambling for those who have been enjoying it for years. As I said before in many other thread, gambling is illegal in my country (it was legal years ago) but there are still many people gamble now. Agreed but some people may already addicted with gambling. They will be feeling so difficult to not play gambling. I guess they can start to decrease their intensity to play gambling but this might be so hard for them.
You can replace your gambling activites with another activity easily but it seems like there are others who feel so difficult to do that.

I think you should know that your ISP can track your online activities and they know if you are visiting gambling sites on your cell phone and computer. They can give this data to the government anytime if they feel like or if the government demands it.
