Spain came in with an excellent start in the second half with their substitute Olmo given them the lead just in 51mins with that fabulous shot with that constructive pass from Lamine Yamal. Olmo didn't waste a sec launching the ball behind the Germany goalie so calmly, a one touch hit.

Yesterday match between Germany vs Spain was the most interesting game between the two matches, and it was actually very fascinating no doubt, but I wasn't happy with the officiating of the central referee, I believe that he killed the game by his incompetence, that game would have gone to penalty shoot out if he had gave Germany that clear penalty they had when the ball struck cucurella's hand in the penalty box, and to me, that was the turning point of the game, because it was very clear that the Germans has seized the rythme and it would have led to penalty shoot out or they would have won, but the performance of the referee was the major cause of their losing yesterday.

Though you said this it's not ronaldo's fault, but he played so badly in this tournament. Ronaldo is such a burden in the match against France. I think you know when Ronaldo missed a golden chance in the 92nd minute against France. It was very damn easy to scored the only goal, and win the duel, but he missed it.

A good game played by Portugal but the only thing I see that is not good in the CR7 team is converting chances into goals they completely failed as a team to do so and in a match against France similar thing happened and things got interesting and match result should decide on penalties. CR7 is a little bit tired and fed up with himself for not converting chances into goals.

Lets blame the coach because he was supposed to glue the team together but he did not. If the players are not passing to Ronaldo then he should have caution them because he is responsible for making the squad to play as a team. What you say is quite reasonable, the foul committed by Toni Kroos on Pedri instead became a way for Dani Olmo to shine in that match, where Dani Olmo was able to score 1 goal and make a good assist that ensured Spain's victory over Germany. But I have another perspective. If only Pedri hadn't gotten injured in that match, I think Spain would really win control of the game, and most likely they would win without having to go through extra time because Pedri has exceptional ball control and astuteness in reading the game.

the thing is telling too much on him and that's possibly the reason why he hasn't retired because he's still full of himself and is still trying to prove a point at the time he's supposed to have retired. Apart from the love we have for him due to his past performance at real Madrid and Manchester United, looking at his play at Al Nasir and even throughout this Euros, he's been all of himself and less of a team player. Was a bit devastated because they couldn't win in the penalty shootout but it didn't reflect that much because he didn't loose the penalty he took. If he had lost the penalty in this match you would have seen a strange kind of cry and reaction. It all goes to show that he's more of an individual player than a team player and you can't win a match and lead a team with that kind of mentality. From all you said I agree with you and if you check the way someone like Morata was playing when he knew things became hard for him you'd know that he wasn't thinking of making a name for him self but he played like someone who wants same thing for the team. I have been a fan of him and respecting him very much just as I feel the same about Messi.    I have grown up watching these legends in their primes. However both of them are old now unfortunately. Wow, what a match it was. The first semifinalist was Spain, who beat Germany 2-1, and the second semifinalist was France, who defeated Portugal in a penalty shootout. The Germany-Spain match was more exciting to watch than the Portugal-France match. Also Olmo’s performance in Spain was commendable.

To be sincere with you I wished for the Spain vs Germany game to never come to an end, the energy of both teams was really high to get a win. I had it in mind that the host might lost at full time but they manage to pull one back to level the game and head to extra time. The Spanish players are the best in this tournament because of the way the went about business since the beginning of the competition, now is a total of 5 games in a row without losing or a draw and from how I saw things about them I believe they're going to win it, their chances of winning is higher than any other country in the tournament. With Portugal and Germany out of the way we're left with France who might be a better opponent to get to the final.

It was a very painful mistake for Germany, because they had to concede in the final minutes before the penalty shootout. A look of sadness was visible from the German players, especially senior players such as Muller and Kroos. Yes, of course they are very sad because this will be their last EURO.
There was hope when Germany equalized at the end of the second half of normal time, and they forced themselves to play in extra time. However, what Spain felt at the end of the second half, they had to feel at the end of the second half of extra time, because the goal scored by Spain meant they had to be eliminated and lose in this top 8 match.
