So i strongly disagreed with the term of " do not invest in a brand new project " to be risk free. A lot of new project has yielded x50
of my investment to me most of the time, What i usually do, Once they're up, i take off with my investment and interest. This is my experiences.
And i strongly believes by doing this, Will yield high success to everyone and also helps you to minimize the risk of lossing all your funds.

New projects trends in the market because of the enormous returns gotten from the investors, it's basically my current targets because I've benefited a great deal from these new projects and I won't back out, specifically not now that I've seen good results with my very naked eyes, my port folio reading good. On the other hand, new projects have also send most investors to back level one due to the heavy dumps experience, that's one of the reasons we should invest with what we can afford to lose and not basically or ignorantly investing everything on a new project that have absolutely zero positive road map contribution.

In my opinion, new projects and old projects both have risks, but believe me, the greater the risk taken, the greater the profits you will get later, in essence, if you are afraid of taking risks, you should not invest in crypto, invest in real, tangible goods, like gold and property without any risk, which means it doesn't have fatal risks like crypto,

Of course, all crypto projects are risky to invest. There are no crypto projects that are really safe to invest. Both old and new projects can be very risky if they have no good fundamentals. However, commonly new projects are riskier because they are not proven to stay in crypto industry for a long time. I many cases, new crypto projects are just traps created by scammers. They made new projects to collect the money from investors. They will provide public sales, they offer the new altcoins with cheaper prices. They tell to investors that the price will be higher when it is listed on exchanges. But in fact, after the public sales is over, the new altcoins are never listed on exchanges. When all the investors complain about it, the project teams/developers have disappeared/gone.

Well, for people who are afraid about the possible risk to happen in new projects, they are better to avoid joining any new projects. There are a lot of old projects that have good reputation, it is easy to choose one of the old projects. Ethereum, Binance, Cardano, Solana, Polygon, and Tron are some old crypto projects that are trusted enough to choose as safer investments. Just choose these crypto projects if we don't want to take high risk on new projects.

Good observation, the reason most of the time is the experienced. There are people who manage to gain after investing with new project, high amount of profits after they manage to pick a new project that gains support from other investors, they manage to sell their holdings before the dump happens.

On the other side, there are also investors who losses their money as they invest during the pick and the timing is bad, or there's nothing happen and the developers are only doing the scam and runaway with the money.

Things that present not only with new project but also can happen with an asset that we think will be pump high but the other things happen, I mean it went in the other direction.

Totally Agreed with you especially when you stated that everything about crypto include its own type of risk .Think it is a major fact that people should consider when investing in any assets not only crypto that is why it is always advisable to invest only what you can afford to lose cause there is no certainty. Op you made a correct points from the explanation. Mostly when you go to the beginners and help board, you will see such threads that are warning newbies to stay clear from those projects and others. But to some extent it is good to be conscious about the new projects because you might not know their motive at the beginning. And as you said, that is not the truth. Last three years, a Ponzi scheme was launched and was doing well for about two good years and the third years, the company made and exit scam and ran away with people's money.

So the longevity and the shortened of a cryptocurrency is not the issue but the genuineness or the good intentions of the founders is the matters a lot and not the duration but if a project stay short and nobody funds were lost then that should be a good exit because there are many factors that can make a project to live short. In a nutshell it's not the newness and longevity of a project
in the market that matters rather it's about taking the risk of investing in them, honestly some new projects against all odds thrive and yielded reasonable profits for it investors whereas the old ones disappointed their investors while few ended up as scam, I think this is where the task of researching very well to know those projects that can return reasonable profits whether new project or old ones in short term or long term perspective and is very important to always take profit once the price pump massively before it undergoes correction or reversal because of the high volatility in their prices.

Although every crypto coin is risky but we can do a research to choose the most secure coins. Sure, it can't be done by praying only but we can analyze their market caps or the fundamentals of the coins. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Cardano are the examples of quite secure coins for investment, specifically for the long term investment.

Yes, diversification is a good way to prevent huge losses. We mustn't rely on a single coin only, investing in some coins are better to minimize the chance of losses. But make sure we choose the trusted coins only, new coins from new projects aren't recommended at all.

as this market is congested with so many fraudulent projects, you can only expect that only few have sincere intentions to actually implement their objectives. most are just for quick profits and exhausting money from naive users.
this is why there is a negative notion towards new projects, because the tendency of screwing users is always there. though old projects can still manage to have their exit scam, but if they already built their reputation and their team is known to public, they wouldn't just taint their names for small screw ups.

Your lucky if that's the case. However, there are new projects that turn out to be scams right from the start, especially after the token sale or ICO, taking away all the investors' money. This is probably why some advise newbies to be cautious in choosing new projects to invest in. I quit agree with you on this, but the investment should not be a huge money, rather use your spear money. It's just like a gambling which you play with $1 and get up to $300. Also in crypto you can invest in a new project with $5, if you are lucky and it pump about 50x you can sell and make profit.
