I never expected Australia to lose like a helpless host today. I was expecting a decent fight but they laid down their bats without even exploring to form a partnership. As bowlers I thing Tim Southee was the one who destroyed the urge of Australia trying to win the match. A lot of game is still left but for now Newzealand defeated Australia in their home ground.

I have serious doubt whether this match will happen or will get truncated as heavy rain is predicted. If the match gets reduced to a number of overs then it will be disappointing. The big match is scheduled for 1:30pm IST tomorrow. The advantage may be with Pakistan, since they are in good form right now. On top of that, Shaheen Shah Afridi has also returned to the squad. On the other hand, Indian batsmen, including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are struggling to score runs. And Pakistan has played a good number of warmup matches and are more acclimatized to the local conditions when compared to the Indians. Overall, I would say that Pakistan maybe having the upper hand for tomorrow's game.

Unfortunately I believed in Australia due to their being the host country. Frankly, I didn't even dream of them losing against New Zealand. The 9.80 odd given to New Zealand seems much better to me now.

What Srilanka has is good spinners. They are already bowling first and they would use their spinners to restrict Ireland from getting a target of more than 150 runs. Ireland has already lost a wicket and I haven't seen their batters doing good against the spin bowling.

The India vs Pakistan match is hard to predict. Pakistan has shown a lot of improvement both in batting and bowling. India is still struggling to get their bowling order in place. The last warmup match against Australia MD Shami was on fire. They need to set the order right for this match and everything will fall into the right place. The team batting first will have a slight upper edge.

Odd seems to low for India while Pakistan is being too much underrated. Though I'm expecting India to win, we should also remember that Pakistan had beaten India on the last match they faced. Anyway, I will not possibly bet on any team as this will be tough one to predict IMO, unless I see an odd of 3 for any of the team. I had a nice 3.10 win yesterday on Aus vs Nz match.

After Australia lost I read that they need to win all of their remaining 4 matches and still may not progress, apparently something similar happened to S Africa last time around. Net run rate seems to be the culprit here (I've no idea how it works but it's something like goal difference?

Excellent comeback by the Pakistani side. After a bad start they were still able to set a target of 160 runs which might not be easy to chase for the Indian batters. Good debut by Arshdeep Sing in his first T20WC match. Now the Indian batters need to stay put on the pitch and form a partnership if they want to win this match.
