In this world cup, there were quite a few occasions where smaller teams such as Afghanistan and Ireland took the match to the very last ball against stronger teams, but didn't managed to win it in the end. When Mohammad Nabi got out, they were struggling at 103/6. And this is when Rashid Khan came to bat. He just battered the Australians left, right and center. Kane Richardson will be having nightmares for at least a couple of weeks from now. But even after all that, Australia walked away with the match. It was so close, yet so far for Afghanistan.

LOL.. Virat Kohli came back to form and that is the reason why they are winning matches now. There is no other reason. And to be honest, I am not sure about their chances in the semi-finals. IMO, Australia and New Zealand are far better teams right now. I would say that at this point there is only 20% to 25% chance that India would win the world cup. Apart from Arshdeep Singh, the other bowlers have been disappointing. And at the top order, KL Rahul has been a disaster so far. Dinesh Karthik has also failed to find runs.

Although it was thought that India might miss this T20 World Cup award in this year but it is just a prediction and i don't agree with the prediction. I think India has a good chance this year to grab the win. Here I can trust four players. Even if one does play well it will not have any major impact if the rest can perform well. KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya have the power to turn the match. If New Zealand or England top from Group 1 and India from Group 2 then I am pretty sure India will have more than 50 percent chance of taking the world cup. It will not be difficult for India especially if Kohli can improve his batting that will bring the more potentiality.

Sri Lanka put 141 runs on the board batting first. I really thought they should have scored a lot more because they were set to score at least 180 at one stage. But towards the end of the first innings England started to bowl really well. Sri Lankan batting lineup had no reply against the unbelievable bowling of England spinners.
