From what I have learned when it comes to cryptocurrencies, it seems like a really silly thing to compare any coin to Bitcoin. I've seen a lot of discussion and criticism about pi mining at the moment. However, Pi Mining official has not made any announcement to list their token. However Pi Network is listed on many exchanges but no deposits and withdrawals are open on any of the exchanges and it has been suspended. That's why its price is very low and high in different exchanges. Currently Pi Token price is $4.50 on Xt Exchange and Pi Token price is equivalent to $107 on Huobi another top exchange. So calling it a scam I have already faced a lot of losses investing in this token so it seems to me that it is not too late to be a scam.

Everything about PI is manipulation and empty promises they long promised of landing PI on exchanges, so people believed them and do KYC and they even accepted getting their action monetized, but after five years and its still nothing I don't know why people still and keep on believing they are good in psyching and motivating their followers, its no wonder because they are Harvard University graduates.

The hype around PI is just too much and it's making me become skeptical about them.
For what it's worth, I hope it doesn't end up becoming a scam because some persons have put in a lot of energy and work in mining those coin.
But I wonder what strategy the team is going to put in place to minimize the heavy dump that will follow once they list the coin, the dump is going to be massive because there is too much of the coin already in circulation.

If that is the Pi that people mine with mobile phones which I always thought to be a scam project to be at these levels then congratulations to all the users which I made fun of just one year ago they should be making fun of me now as they most probably have made a lot of money if they withdrew even at 3-4 dollars,these guys had a lot of coins.

If this is another project,then I am happy for the people who participated but I was and still am a bit skeptical about such projects.

I guess you were only looking at how the Pi has been valued, I think you need to check on the exchange or even on CMC to see if these people could make withdrawals.
Nevertheless, if some people could make profit out of it, the strong doubts regarding this coin being a scam still remains.

Yes, Pi has been around for a while now, and some persons have been mining that coin for that long.

A friend even tried convincing me to be mining the coin that it will be a huge project in the future, told him point blank no. I have had similar experience from a coin that was giving out millions of their coin for promotional purpose, while miners were also bagging lots of the coin. Turns out that after the pre-sale , and subsequent listing of the token in an exchange, the token was dumped heavily and price fell to almost zero.

True, because he said that even though the name is the same there, they are still two different things, but there are indeed many people who compare and even equate these things, which are clearly different.

Because if they've got plans about that, they've done that before and with the vast users that they've been fooling around, they can make a huge profit dumping it all at once.

But that's not what they've got on their plan, they've probably a better plan but just to create a ruckus then whoever made this PI listing really made a lot of their users confused.

Whether it's listed or not, it's still the same project that has got no plans at all.

Pi Network They have not officially launched any exchange. Some exchanges have started trading on their own platforms. Pi Network has officially banned trading with this Pi Coin. Their mainnet is not finished yet. Notices have been given to CMC and Coingecko for prohibition and they have recorded the same above.

Their announcement was too late, because you know when a several exchanges listed Pi coin, and trade started with good price then most of the people’s believe that it’s a real Pi coin. I see some in telegram groups, some people's buying/selling Pi around 20$-50$ even with KYC verified account, just imagine how much they already lost.

There are still innocent people who still have their hopes on the said coin. Most of them are expecting high profits from it and I feel bad for them especially those who don't have enough knowledge on how to determine the potential of a coin. what I think is like a big manipulation of the market, the PI community on average doesn't really understand the game of triangles. their brains have been washed with high prices resulting in high hopes later which results in hard to believe. there have been many mining projects like this that have ended in zero and many people have lost everything just for the sake of a scam project

You are absolutely right; it is very mysterious project which has no foreseeable future. The success of any project depends on its market demand, which is created by building its use case, unfortunately it lacks in case of Pi network.
