Unfortunately, my country is not understanding the value of crypto entirely. They are discouraging people from buying or selling crypto. They have imposed very high taxes on crypto trading. I just wish they also observe the ways in which crypto is benefitting other countries which have embraced it and then my country also removes these extra taxes. It will help crypto related companies to grow here and also crypto education will become popular with universities and schools teaching it.

If your country makes strict rules on crypto users, of course, it will be an obstacle. But you are still lucky that your country still regulates the entry of crypto and only prevents it by providing a large tax. But actually, the tax should be borne by the crypto industry like local exchanges and users only need to pay part of it when trading. currently, crypto education continues to develop in a good direction, this will be knowledge that must be known because crypto is important for the future.
Do you know that it will be very difficult for a country to decide this time not to embrace the adoption of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin to be mentioned, because i believe that the regulations of cryptocurrency is everywhere across the nations, but the only thing you should understand is that cryptocurrency government don't have the right of controlling a cryptocurrency in her nation irrespective the commands of government

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

We should consider the situation if the government allows this matter to teach in school otherwise we only just fail their plan.
Some people are just doing this in their homes teaching their relatives and neighbors. I'm not sure how effective it was but at least they have found this way an alternative to learning crypto while the government never notice it because it was difficult to expect that it can be taught in school and part of the curriculum knowing that the government is not giving support to crypto.

and in which everybody is interested to have the knowledge of cryptocurrency,
To start off with, not everybody wants (will want) a life of digital currencies. They think it's difficult to learn all the dos and don'ts that go on with its wallet management and security. Not everyone likes restrictions. Going forward, we also need to factor in the "other side of cryptos", the negative side.

Quote
and it comes to my knowledge that their is every possibility that Bitcoin can be added in educational curriculum in certain universities and especially the country that adopt and know the future of cryptocurrency.
Yes, I think that's long overdue even. Financial literacy should be a thing to be learnt too. It should be a part and parcel of the existing curriculum so as to aid youngsters in financial management and accountability.

Regulations are only in discussions now and very few governments are actually trying to control crypto because the people who run such governments know that it is not possible.

If there are regulations in place in future, possibly education about crypto will be imparted to the growing generation as well. Because with the rise of something new, scams related that also flood the system. Then awareness and learning how to avoid getting scammed would mean a lot. Still it is in the future and for now we should educate our near and dear ones if they are getting involved in cryptocurrency from whatever we have learnt.

Don't underestimate the ability of the government, they don't have crypto regulation yet because it really hasn't had too much of an impact on them yet. Although the crypto market has grown tremendously over the years, the number of people participating and knowing about it is still very low. But with the recent collapse, they will no longer be silent to let us free, regulation is inevitable.

Currently, cryptocurrency is just an investment and does not have any utility in life so it is not knowledge that everyone needs. So it doesn't make sense to include crypto in education, knowledge about crypto we can easily find on the internet and it doesn't take too long to learn them.

Is it time for the whole world to embrace, adapt, add it in educational curriculum and teach cryptocurrency to the youth?
It is important for those of us who understand Bitcoin and not for those who are the opposite of us. First, in my opinion, it is an effort to make Bitcoin universally accepted by all elements of society so that the government can incorporate Bitcoin into the education curriculum.
Second, if a country with all elements can accept Bitcoin in its entirety, then the Bitcoin education curriculum will be the most important part. So it is correct if someone says that it takes awareness to do it.

Agree. My thinking is that we should make bitcoin and cryptocurrencies legal and widely accepted before we even think about introducing crypto into education.
Today, crypto still has a lot of shortcomings and is not widely accepted, if we rush to include it in education, it will cause unnecessary controversy.
We are investors so of course we will support this but for those who don't like cryptocurrencies they won't let their children have access to them.

Crypto does have a lot of shortcomings, but these come not from true crypto (like Bitcoin) themselves, but from corporations and businesses that mislead and misappropriated. Education isn't an option -- teach people how to use it properly, and the difference between coins in your own wallet and crypto in an exchange, and you prevent all the problems that've been putting crypto in a bad light.

It's already controversial, why avoid it?

People focusing too much on wanting cryptocurrency implemented in education curricula without any background reason is ludicrous to me.

At its root educational system is biased, how do we expect Bitcoin education resources to be implemented into an education curriculum noting government didn't even want its people to use a currency they cannot control? It might applicable as an additional course, though, not completely as a whole prerequisite learning subject.

On the first hand, even mentioning those colleges that have already been implemented is not inclusive enough, many education systems within the world are still struggling to find a system where it suits and is able to compete with the rest of the world. Just see the PISA score disparity.

Teaching about crypto should be good idea and all the nations should carefully consider it. The main problem is the government of the specific nations. As cryptos are not regulated in these nations, so for that reason the countries are avoiding cryptos. In my country there isn’t proper teaching about cryptos, but yes college students are taught about Blockchain technology. Let’s hope soon people become more broad and respect the cryptos.

The idea of bringing cryptocurrencies into education is Fiction. The introduction of any subject or field into education needs to be studied carefully and takes a long time because it will directly affect all future preschools of a country. While cryptocurrency today is just a risky investment and is not yet recognized by the government, how can it be called the important thing that everyone needs.

Bitcoin Discussion probably I think I have seen a maximum of the education-related stuff in this section of the forum. As education on the local level the ideas and their implementation, I have seen many threads like this. My point is today what we need is actually the access to the source of information off line information is not much impressive I think in the digital world everyone can access more.

Is it time for the whole world to embrace, adapt, add it in educational curriculum and teach cryptocurrency to the youth?

This is unquestionably true, yet depending on how various institutions and nations interpret it, the issue will elicit a number of observations and opinions. Because of its volatility, which might harm mental health if one is not well prepared for it, some people may be opposed to its full acceptance. Even before it was suggested that it be taught as part of the curriculum in schools, spreading bogus news about its use contributed to its lack of adoption in the world.

It would be a good idea if this were implemented in schools, but without government regulation, it would be challenging to make the teaching of blockchain technology successful at these institutions. Any government that wants to take this into consideration will have to research the implications, which is crucial for students to understand as well. It is not difficult to adopt it, but everyone should do so after learning enough about how to utilize it.

Yes, we can solve it by arguing to give the final solution but not in education even bitcoin it is not suitable for education. Bitcoin has emerged as a phenomenon but in the end it is just an investment, not the knowledge that everyone needs. If you want to put bitcoin in education so people can learn how to avoid scams, and how to distinguish between coins in our wallets and on exchanges then I would agree with @vv811's idea, they should only be included in supplementary courses, elective courses.

If many do not accept crypto because there are still many shortcomings, for us it is natural because many cryptocurrencies end up with disappointments like the FTX that just happened. Maybe not with Bitcoin which is still of interest to large investors to small investors.
We better focus on discussing Bitcoin. It takes awareness of all of us who understand Bitcoin even though it is not 100% like our friends to do something that makes people widely accept Bitcoin so that it is easy for stakeholders to incorporate it into the education curriculum.

Cryptocurrency and its blockchain are the future. Decades from now, our paper money will be replaced soon with centralized cryptocurrencies issued by governments. The time is right for schools to start spreading awareness and preparing the new generation for what the future will be like.

Blockchain and the metaverse are not just important to be discussed at the college level but they must be included in primary schools where very young kids are discovering their interests as they move on with their lives.

But teaching people about self-custody goes beyond Bitcoin. Teaching people leaving money in online accounts is not the same as having that money under your control.  Teaching people how the centralised money systems really work, the way fractional reserves (or in US's case, zero reserves) have fked people up time and again, that's really important financial education.

Educating yourself through research and books is necessary before you enter the market. It gives you a better chance at making the right move. Also, when it comes to investing in a coin, you need to do background checks and see if it’s worth holding the coin short term or long term.

Bitcoin was the first decentralized cryptocurrency, which first released as an open-source software in 2009 but didn't reach public attention.

Now, crypto education becomes a priority for world-class education institutions such as University of the Cumberlands (United Kingdom), University of the West of England (United Kingdom), University of Toronto (Canada), University of Warwick (United Kingdom), University of Waterloo (Canada), University of Westminster (United Kingdom), etc.

Learning cryptocurrency will attract you towards the digital world and internet technology. It will prepare you for the future, since digital world is here to stay, and technology is progressing and evolving rapidly.

Is it time for the whole world to embrace, adapt, add it in educational curriculum and teach cryptocurrency to the youth?
There is no need to integrate cryptocurrency into the educational curriculum because I perceived crypto as a thing of personal interest, even it is integrated it should be a unit course for Economic, Insurance and accounting courses, meanwhile there are lot of people who already knew or has a first hand information about cryptocurrency but never embrace it because of lack of interest, while others who are interested seek more information on it via the internet of course there are many information on the internet about cryptocurrency which is enough for any individual or coperate organization to take decisive action before investing in it or for educational learning.

I think awareness is more important rather then education if a person knows there is something called crypto and there is Bitcoin which can be future money then the person Is going to Educate himself on his own efforts. Open up a college or institute to crypto and the neighbors don't even know there is something called BTC.

Dude agreed youth need be educated for the Crypto...
But
Awareness is the First step and Education second step.
For universities, finance majors may have this subject, and if there is a separate major, it may be for computer technology majors. Because it's a must for learning about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. As for education, no one is more important than the other. As the first application of the underlying technology of the blockchain, it needs to be given more time so that everyone can understand it more deeply. When the social demand is getting bigger and bigger, every university will increase this subject and passport, because there is a large demand for this staff all over the world. The encrypted world will also provide more and more job opportunities.
